19 Dragoon And Luck - 1

Luna, was not at all happy with him. Though, not for beating the crap out of that Japanese cunt. No in fact, she'd been staring at him with a bit of awe, most had and the ones who were muttering about him before, had promptly shut the hell up.

No, what the lovely busty blonde guild staff member was put out over, was simply the damage he'd done to the guild.

…Yarden had demolished the wall after all when he smashed that simp through it and used him as a football.

It cost him a full three hundred thousand eris to cover the damage. Though, it was easy enough to pay off.

Thanks to the cash he'd lifted from that clown, even after paying it off, Yarden was sitting on a whole three and a half million eris even after paying out another hundred thousand in donations.

Simps as always, were very lucrative to exploit.

Currently, Yarden found himself standing outside the local church dedicated to the goddess Eris. Darkness had needed to pay them a visit for healing, for…reasons.

Reasons that near shattered the bed, but reasons nonetheless.

"Are you honestly keeping that?"

Yarden looked up from where he was looking down at his adventurer card, taking in all the new skill possibilities. A large list of new skills had appeared. All that fell under the holy magic category that belonged to priests, arch priests and the like.

He'd donated a hundred thousand to the church of Eris to get them to show him all the skills they could use.

He met the chagrined looking gaze of Chris with his own, noting her gaze was mostly centred around his lower body.

Specifically, the large, badass broadsword he'd left propped up against the wall of the church at his side.

Gram, the legendary cursed sword.

His prize.

The money he'd taken was just the entrance fee on that other guys part.

"Yup," Yarden shrugged, "He literally threatened me with it. If he didn't want to lose it, he should have minded his own damn business."

He was lucky Yarden didn't just kill him honestly.

"Well I guess so, but, that's a divine relic you know, you won't be able to use it," Chris sighed, "There's a few of them toting around, usually in the hands of complete weirdo's from this…Japan place you were talking about. And you know, a lot of people watching, that's going to spread around, you've probably ruined Mitsurugi's reputation."

"…Who?" Yarden tilted his head to the side, staring at her blankly, before shrugging, "Honestly, it doesn't really matter if it's power doesn't work for me or it weighs a shit ton. It looks awesome and it still cuts shit. What else do I need a sword for?"

"Then why not just get a normal sword?" Chris pointed out with a raised eyebrow, "It's not as simple as it simply being a sword. Gram is sentient and on top of that, it's powers are incredibly potent. It never rusts or dulls, it's practically unbreakable and forged from orichalcum and can cut through near anything. And in the hands of its true user, it not only amplifies all their abilities, but allows them to channel magic power through it, amplify it and send it out in a beam of pure destructive power. It's not a toy."

"Neat." Yarden replied with a nod. So he'd basically never had to waste time replacing it then.

Chris gave him a dull look before sighing and running a hand through that pretty silver hair of hers, "You're kind of a frustrating guy, you know that?"

"Yup." he agreed. He wouldn't deny it. Though, he also couldn't deny the fact that even he noticed that over the past day, he was a lot more…aggressive and abrasive than normal. Honestly, right now was probably the clearest he'd felt mentally since he got here yesterday.

Between fucking the shit out of Darkness and taking out his aggression on that Japanese beta soy boy cuck, it had…chilled him out a bit.

He looked over the girl beside him, "Hey, you seem to know a lot about stuff in general." he noted.

She was the one that confirmed for him goddesses could get pregnant. And she apparently knew all about Gram as well.

Chris froze, before giving a nervous laugh, "…I suppose a bit…haha…"

Weird.

But whatever.

"What do you know about dragons? Can you explain them to me?" he asked. He figured, his personality changes, probably had to come down to the changes he'd went through.

Specifically, when he gained the heart of a dragon.

"I suppose, but you'll have to be more specific, what do you want to know about them?" Chris blinked, and gave him an odd look.

"Everything," Yarden shrugged, "How strong are they? How long do they live? How intelligent are they and so on."

"Ah, okay, that's easy enough," Chris nodded, "Well to be up front, Dragon's come in three flavours that represent their growth. They start off as Lesser Dragons after being born, then when they mature they become Greater Dragons and eventually after they age enough, they become Elder Dragon's. On average, they're the strongest species of creature roaming this world and they an infinite life span and grow stronger the more they age. On top of that, they're incredibly intelligent, but they're plagued by instincts of hunting and dominance that overwhelm them and it usually takes one hundreds of years before they start maturing enough to control those instincts."

Oh.

'OH!!!' Yarden's eyes widened.

That explained…a lot actually.

'Why didn't Aqua warn me about this?' he wondered for a moment, before dismissing it. It was mostly his own fault he supposed, he was in such a rush.

He wondered if that Kazuma guy had finally made his pick?

Well no matter.

"Thanks, that actually helps a ton." he grinned at Chris thankfully. Now he knew, it was all his instincts fault.

And assuming if what Chris said had merit. He, was most likely a Lesser Dragon right now in human form. And it was going to take him a shit ton of time to learn how to deal with them.
