Chapter 81 Self-improvement
The forest behind hokage mountain,
"How can you be so cruel Kazuki? Hiss… it hurts!"
On a wooden log sat Kushina with a pale look and her body aching due to pain, with tired eyes complaining to Kazuki who stood in front.
"Rather than complaining you should get used to this pain quickly as we'll be sparing every day"
Ignoring her complains, Kazuki threw in some even more cruel facts without caring about her mental health at all.
I… seem to have stepped into hell voluntarily Kushina at his words showing a look of despair as realization hitting her inwardly; asking kazuki to train her not ending all beds of roses for her.
Kazuki and Kushina having sparred and destroyed a portion of forest returned to the spot where minato and nawaki were still training.
Swish!
Leaving Kushina with Nawaki and Minato who curious about her beat up state, Kazuki once again disappeared looking for a suitable spot to do his own training.
"Let's start!"
Finding a nice spot next to a river in the midst of the forest, Kazuki began the process of upgrading a crucial jutsu in his arsenal.
Taking out couple of empty scrolls from his ninja pouch, Kazuki sitting on the grass began to scribble on them with a brush dipped in black ink, writing one kanji after another. {Kanji= one of Japanese writing methods}
"Before anything else I need to come up with a formula that is stable enough to even teleport a Bijudama, with second hokage's grasp on sealing jutsu in my head it shouldn't be that difficult"
Muttered Kazuki while drawing one kanji after another on the scroll, a serious look in his eyes.
Kazuki was busy improving flying raijin jutsu as with his knowledge of the future he knew it had a lot of room for improvement.
Minato in canon had managed to improve this jutsu which only had a basic use of teleporting himself to an enemy for a sudden attack to doing wonders with it.
Able to cast the flying raijin formula directly on air and able to transport attacks like Bijudama which could raise mountains to dust, the jutsu he had inherited from tobirama was incapable of doing this.
He had inherited tobirama's talent with his template as well and in a way that was even more precious than the whole template.
Using that talent, he wanted to surpass tobirama as in this world even with 100% strength of the latter he would still be always in danger.
He had to continue getting stronger and not stop and this upgradation of flying raijin was his first step towards it.
Days continued to pass as Kazuki allotting some of his time to train minato and other two and the rest most in improving flying raijin.
The chunin exams kept closing in and the hustle bustle in the village kept increasing, tourist from allied countries like land of waterfall, land of grass, land of river seen across the village.
Eventually only two days were left for the much awaited exams, a look of anticipation on the face of villagers for this event.

Within the hokage building, at a room sat a desk that was responsible for receiving mission reports from Anbu Black Ops and delivering them to the hokage.
Three Anbu members with a compulsory animal mask hiding their face after handing in the mission report stepped out of the room.
But they had to halt suddenly as a figure blocked their path, bandages wrapped around his forehead and right eye and an x shaped mark on his chin.
"Elder Danzo!"
The three Anbu members seemed to recognize the identity of the man who blocked their path, greeting in a respectful tone.
"Follow Me!"
Danzo gave a casual nod in response and turning around motioned the three to follow him.
"Tap!"
The Anbu members at his words gave each other a look and despite the masks they seem to communicate perfectly as after a few seconds of silence they seemed to have reached a mutual decision, following Danzo out of the building.

Next Day.

"The Instructed Nimbus Kazuki twin whorl sphere!!!"
BOOM!!!
Minato with some dust on his face from training disappeared from the spot and appeared next to a boulder close to him, in his right hand spinning a blue ball of chakra as spouting some nonsense he smashed the chakra ball at the boulder.
"I finally did it!"
The boulder was blown to bits after coming in contact with the blue chakra ball, as minato with an excited look on his face spoke up and turned to face those who were watching him.
"We need to come up with a name for this jutsu as soon as possible"
"Your naming sense truly sucks minato"
But instead of being looked with awe after his successful display of jutsu, Minato was met with retribution for the nonsense he had spouted before firing the attack, Kushina showing urgency to come up with a name and nawaki honestly giving minato a reality check.
"Ummm… it's not that bad…" At their words Minato showed a clear embarrassed look, rubbing the back of his hair while trying to defend himself.
"Huh… Yui!?"
Kazuki who was about to praise Minato for successfully learning Rasengan suddenly frowned and looked back, a figure leaping from one tree to another approaching them at high speed as Kazuki recognized who it was immediately.
