53 Chapter 53 Jiraiya's Determination

Mount Myoboku.

At the residence of great toad sage, most of the high combat force of mount Myoboku was gathered, gamabunta, a big red toad, gamahiro a big green toad, Fukasaku and Shima, all of them were present in the hall.

Among them stood Jiraiya wrapped in bandages, having been just reverse summoned here by gamabunta.

At the moment every eye in the hall with deep concern, worry was focused on the giant brown toad lying on an equally large bed, eyes closed with a pale look, seemingly in a coma.

"Crimson Eclipse Binds, A Lone Wanderer Unites The Fractured World"

"Maybe someone unites the whole world against a common enemy? That's the only reasonable interpretation of this prophecy I can come up with."

Spoke Jiraiya turning to gaze at Fukasaku and Shima, just a while ago he was suddenly teleported back to Mount Myoboku and was told about the recent happenings.

The great toad sage noticed the future getting blurry and when he forcefully tried to peer into it, he was left in a coma but his attempt wasn't completely useless as he was able to get some information at least.

"And the instructions to kill this man with a mark on his forehead, maybe he is that common enemy?"

Said Fukasaku in response to Jiraiya's words, he didn't deny his interpretation of the prophecy as it matched with the instructions to kill the man with a mark on his forehead.

"Anyways even if the future seems to have changed, I still won't stop looking for the one who I'll guide and will possibly be the hope or doom of the world."

"But I'll also add the search of this man with a mark into my travels around the world."

Said Jiraiya with a determined look in his eyes, couple of years ago the great toad sage had made a prophecy that one day Jiraiya would guide someone who will either be hope or doom of the world.

The recent death of Dan had firmed his believe to look for this savior of the world, even if the future seemed to have been changed he still won't give up on the first prophecy.

"I'll also instruct the messenger toads around the world to keep eyes open for this enemy."

Told Fukasaku his plan with a serious face, just what kind of power was it that left great toad sage in such a state for just trying to spy on the future.

Never has peering into future affected the great toad sage physically but it did, now left between life and death.

Near Tanzaku Bridge.

Iwa Camp.

In the main dome,

Most of the jonin were assembled in the commander's dome, though at the main seat sat a different person, not Roshi.

It was a person easily dwarfing all the others in room, about 228 cm, a red armor covering up most of his body and extending up to the bottom half of his face, light brown eyes, a red hat on his head as well.

Han, the Jinchuriki of Five Tails.

"Are we really going to do this, Lord Han?"

Asked a Jonin with a somewhat unwilling face, his eyes with clear disappointment in them stuck at Han.

"Although it's a shame but we have no other choice, no one expected kumo to attack us suddenly." Said Han calmly gazing at everyone in the room and continued speaking.

"So for a while we have to rely on small scale battles and refrain from launching a whole scale attack like the other day, Also Tsuchikage-Sama strongly ordered me to not to go all out fighting Konoha's top combat force like Roshi did."

"Although I have confidence in myself but just in case if I end up in a condition similar to Roshi, we would have no choice but to retreat."

Told Han the facts that they couldn't ignore and had to lay low if they wanted to continue this war with konoha, otherwise they might end up losing completely.

Onoki was busy dealing with kumo and Roshi was recovering from his injuries and it would take him a long time to recover from those wounds, so the last top combat power in Iwagakure was him.

If something happened to him, Iwagakure would have undoubtedly lost to konoha.

"But still I plan to meet with Hanzo after a while and ask him to step in the war himself, so it's not that hopeless of a situation."

Finally, Han said something that lifted the spirits of iwa shinobi and they left the main camp with something to look forward to in this war.

If Hanzo agrees to fight himself, then they truly had hope of taking down the konoha army stationed at tanzaku town.

But what Iwagakure hadn't expected was that convincing Hanzo to fight would be so difficult, understanding that Iwagakure was busy fighting two enemies and had no power to allocate to deal with him, Hanzo put forward heavy conditions to participate himself which put the talks between han and Hanzo on a hold for a long time.

Time kept going and the world continued to suffer from the war, as a year and half passed in a blink of an eye, the wars all around the world entering the last stages.
