At the forest,

The squad of five jumped from one tree to another marching forward steadily in the gloomy forest, Orochimaru forefront fully alert.

But the steady movement didn't last long for them after crossing the bridge, wind rustling as a barrage of shurikens and kunai's from all sides suddenly rained down on them.

Moreover, with a string most of the kunai's had a burning explosive tags attached to them.

The squad of five didn't seem surprised at the sudden attack, all giving each other a look and printing seals.

Two claps resounded as Orochimaru and the figure with silver hair completed hand signs of their respective jutsu at the same time.

Orochimaru had surprise on his face at the seal printing speed of the silver haired genin but he didn't focus much on that, knowing it wasn't the time to be surprise.

Several small blasts of wind roared out of the mouth of Orochimaru who spinning dispersed them in all directions, the B-Rank Jutsu blowing away most of the shurikens and kunai's along with trees.

But it couldn't stop the explosive tags attached with kunai's from exploding, a massive blast of fire suddenly approaching the five, the wind released by Orochimaru only fanning the flames.

Suiton: Suijinheki (Water Release: Water Barrier)

Just when Orochimaru and others worried a little, from the figure standing between them with his hands clasped like a dam breaking water gushed out, around the five massive swirling water barriers formed, tightly closing them in.

The flames of the explosion collided with the swirling water barriers but unable to go through even a little, the flames going out at high speed, steam wafting out in the atmosphere.

The moment the water barrier was removed, from all sides shadows suddenly lunged at the five.

Immediately the other four suppressing the surprise brought by Kazuki became serious, the two jonin and Nawaki pulling out a kunai, from the cuffs of Orochimaru numerous snakes rushing out and lunging back at the shadows.

Kazuki reached towards the Kusanagi strapped on his back and sheathing it out immediately brought it before his face, a kunai hitting the blunt part of the blade.

Holding the kunai was a burly rain shinobi with a rough face, the force behind the kunai immense but unable to move Kazuki back an inch.

Looking into the eyes of rain shinobi, Kazuki suddenly rolled his wrists and spun the blade down, due to inertia the rain shinobi who suddenly lost resistance lunging forward uncontrollably.

Quickly with a heavy stop rain shinobi tried to stabilize himself, but all in vain as the sharp side of the Kusanagi was already parallel to his neck.

*Puch*

Like butter the legendary sword cut through the neck, leaving a thin red horizontal line.

Without looking back, Kazuki rushed towards the other enemies as the body of the burly rain shinobi left behind tumbling backwards except the head rolling forward.

Ahhh!!!

The palm of Orochimaru drilled through the chest of the enemy who screamed and tried to resist but in vain, in a matter of seconds falling down lifeless.

Swish!

Suddenly by Orochimaru's side, a figure rushed by heading straight towards a huge boulder.

"Nawaki is really lively today!"

Thought Orochimaru with a grin on his face, his eyes on the figure who was so eager to fight and prove himself.

BOOM!!!

Orochimaru saw Nawaki speeding up even more and jumping behind the huge boulder but a sudden explosion suddenly changed his expression.

From the explosion a green crystal tied to a string flew out and landed near Orochimaru's feet, who totally stunned.
