45 Chapter 45 Roshi

Night had fallen and the moonlight poured over the whole tanzaku town and its surroundings, the wind blowing at a moderate pace.

The whole town was empty and it seemed like everyone was fast sleep, a strange silence over the whole town.

Swish!

The only movement in the town was of the few konoha shinobi standing alert on top of the huge circular wall surrounding the whole town.

"Huh?"

Suddenly a ninja on top of the wall seemed to notice something in the huge forest surrounding the town from all sides, his eyes red with two black tomoe spinning in them.

In the dark those blood red eyes were particularly conspicuous, the famed sharingan of the Uchiha Clan.

"Hmph! You think you can hide from these eyes?"

Muttered the Uchiha Shinobi with a haughty look on his face, next second making quick hand signs and sucking in a large breath.

Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu!

Flames gushed out of the mouth of Uchiha shinobi and rushed towards the sky, a huge ball of fire suspended in the sky.

The moment fire ball appeared in the sky, the town which lacked a simple movement seem to shake, figures flashed out from the castle and leaping from house to house, rushed towards the entrance.

In just few minutes everyone crossing the whole town arrived at the entrance and under the lead of three figures at front, rushed into the forest.

"It never hurts to listen to a Nara; I'm really glad we brought some back to consult."

Said Jiraiya in a relieved tone, during the meeting a nara jonin had brought the possibility of Iwagakure attacking at night so they stayed alert during night as well and were able to response mere seconds after the enemy signal.

At Jiraiya's words, Kazuki and the figure with black hair, red eyes with three black tomoe in them showed an agreeing look.

Suddenly Kazuki who was specially instructed by Jiraiya to stay near him during the war frowned, and halted his movement in the middle of the jungle.

"That way! I'm sensing a massive chakra, it's almost endless!"

Before Jiraiya and Fukashi, the head of Uchiha Clan could inquire about what happened, Kazuki solved their curiosity, his finger pointed towards his right.

"True, such chakra could only be…

"Tailed Beast!"

Fukashi putting a little effort was able to sense the huge chakra as well, Jiraiya also understanding what this chakra was, saying out the name loudly.

A dreadful look appeared on Jiraiya's face but he didn't lose his calm and gazed towards kazuki "Do you sense another such chakra?"

Asked Jiraiya with his heart beating fast, hoping so much for the answer to be anything but yes.

Kazuki seemed the best sensor among them, Jiraiya himself couldn't sense the other worry in his head so just to be assure he asked Kazuki.

At his question, Kazuki leaned down and placed two fingers on the ground, closing his eyes and putting all his focus to sense everything.

Nearly everything in kilometers possessing even a little chakra was sensed by Kazuki but another one like the huge red chakra about a kilometer from his position, not present.

In the hopeful eyes of Jiraiya and Fukashi, Kazuki removing his fingers from the ground stood up and facing them shook his head.

"Phew! It's still with in control."

Said Jiraiya while letting out a big relieved breath, the worst didn't happen and only one tail beast seemed to be present in Iwa camp.

A few days ago, when Jiraiya who was still at sand stronghold received the order to march towards tanzaku town to deal with Iwa.

Although at Tanzaku town uchiha would be present but Jiraiya knew it wouldn't be enough to deal with almost two perfect Jinchuriki, and if Onoki himself appeared it would be a disaster.

(A.N: In Minato one shot manga recently released, Roshi and Han were shown to be able to control tail beast to the point of easily release a huge Bijudama, so I hope it clears everyone's confusion who might think it's a plot hole)

Jiraiya put forward his concern's before Sakumo and was only told not to worry about that as it has been taken care of.

He wasn't given any details and that still kept him worried, Sarutobi didn't tell anyone about the details of Danzo fighting Han outside Amegakure.

Although Han had won the fight against Danzo but going all out when his control over tail beast wasn't perfect had left him unable to fight again for a while, as it can end up in him going berserk.

"Let's hurry up! It's on three of us to stop the Jinchuriki, we can't let him start a rampage on our shinobi!"

Now a lot more relaxed Jiraiya immediately decided their next move, the only hope of being able to stop a near perfect jinchuriki was that the strongest in the camp all fight it together.

The three hurried in the direction pointed by kazuki, this was the reason they were staying together in the first place so that the biggest fear could be tackle with full force.

The three didn't had to travel much as who they were going after seemed to have sensed them as well, also rushing towards them.

Swish!

Near a huge stream under a waterfall illuminated by the moonlight, three figures from one side and one figure from the opposite side rushed out of the forest and landed on top of the stream, mere distance of twenty to thirty meters between them.

Opposite to Kazuki who stood next to Jiraiya and Fukashi, stood a figure with below average height and red hair, donning a red outfit as well, Kazuki in a low voice muttering out a name.

"Roshi."
