43 Chapter 43 Loophole

Tanzaku Town.

The town enclosed with a huge circular wall was lacking the liveliness of the past, famous for its gambling places and the Tanzaku castle in the middle of the town, it used to be filled with travelers from all around the land of fire.

All the residents of the town were relocated to another safe town very far from here because of the danger of being subjugated to the war.

The entrance of the town was strictly guarded at the moment, even on top of the circular wall surrounding the town stood konoha shinobi keeping an eye at the huge forest outside.

The army sent by konoha to deal with the possible invasion of Iwagakure on the other side of tanzaku bridge was currently stationed, making the whole town the base.

While some shinobi guarded the entrance and some kept watch over the surroundings, the rest of the army was inside the huge castle.

The castle was big enough to accommodate an army of around three thousand easily, making it a perfect place to rest rather than setting camps and going through all the hassle.

On the way here Kazuki's mind was occupied with the thoughts of his promotion to jonin in the near future and how he could tackle this problem.

The revenge from Sunagakure also worried him as he didn't want to fight a shinobi of the rank of kazekage with the way he currently was.

All that thinking finally lead to a possible loophole in the system, he knows that the more he unlocks the template of Senju Tobirama, the more abilities he possessed Kazuki will acquire.

So what if he tries to master those abilities before the system grants him, so to test his theory Kazuki who usually never really trained in anything else aside from water style tried to improve his grasp on earth style.

Due to daily template extraction he was already very close to increasing his earth style proficiency to the level of a jonin (middle) and in just a matter of hours he was able to confirm his theory.

Of course this loophole wasn't that easy to exploit, for example if wanted to take his lightning style to advanced level through his own training it will take years.

The same was for the rest aside from fire style which was beginner and he could take it to middle in a few months or even less.

And as for technique's like Flying Thunder God or Reanimation Jutsu of Senju Tobirama, even if he were to acquire them somehow he might not even be able to start with them without years of training.

Getting over the excitement of his successful experiment, Kazuki focused on what the four percent increase in template brought him.

His chakra increased and so his grasp on wind and earth style but what he was truly excited to get was shadow release.

Although just beginner but it brought him the jutsu that can render the sight of the opponent useless, in the canon even a weakened Tobirama was able to put Hiruzen under this jutsu.

So it will be really useful in a fight against kage rank shinobi, though it might not be effective against those who possessed ocular dojutsu especially sharingan which is resistant to Genjutsu a lot.

Kazuki who was happy at the increase of his template frowned suddenly as his ears picked the sound of something sharp cutting through the air, approaching him at high speed.

Immediately Kazuki jumped back as where he just stood drilled a kunai, digging into the ground.

SWOOSH!!

But Kazuki didn't get much time to focus on the kunai as two shadows appeared on his left and right, a fist and another kunai making its way towards his face, red and yellow hair fluttering in the air.
