41 Chapter 41 Iwagakure

Sand Stronghold Training Ground.

It was almost middle of the night, and while the whole training ground was empty one figure could still be spotted, a man made deep pit with in the ground filled with water, at least reaching the depth of ten to 12 feet.

At the edge of the pit full of water sat a person who looked around twelve, his brown light brown hair soaked with sweat and his hazel eyes full of focus.

On the surface of the water in the pit a dense stone was floating rather than sinking, at this finally a bright light appearing in the hazel eyes of Nawaki.

"SPLASH!"

But before Nawaki could even remove his hand from the surface of water and celebrate his success properly, a stone double the size of the one floating was thrown in the water as drops splashed everywhere.

Immediately Nawaki looked behind and unknowingly a figure had appeared behind him.

"Next try balancing a stone of that size; I expect you to be able to succeed in that by the time we meet again."

Said Kazuki calmly, a hint of expectation in his tone for this student who was older than him.

Just in a few days Nawaki was able to succeed in keeping the stone floating, although it was lighter and less dense but still amazing for someone who was a beginner in water style.

Now he was looking forward to the growth of Nawaki as he had shown some amazing potential in water style.

This naïve kid, how far could he go under his guidance? His existence starting to change the future towards an unknown direction.

"Again? Are you going somewhere Kazuki-San?"

From his words Nawaki picked an important hint as he asked quickly with a concerned face.

He was finally able to feel himself improving so he didn't want an excellent teacher like Kazuki to leave.

"I'll be heading towards quarters of tanzaku tomorrow noon, the plan of Iwagakure to attack through Amegakure secretly was revealed by Anbu's intelligence."

"As you may know already that a while ago Lord Sakumo along with Hyuga Shinobi arrived here; they'll be taking command of the sand front and I'll leave the camp along with Jiraiya-San and some Nara Shinobi to join the army stationed near quarters of tanzaku to stop Iwagakure."

Told Kazuki the rough situation to Nawaki, earlier he received a notice and was told to get ready to head off to deal with Iwagakure shinobi now.

Both Hyuga and Sakumo were more than enough to fill the gap of created by Dan's death, even his and Jiraiya's absence won't affect the situation at all.

The chief of Hyuga Clan was stronger than Jiraiya and there was no need to say anything about Sakumo, Kazuki and Jiraiya even together wouldn't be able to beat him.

At this words Nawaki went silence and an unwilling look appeared on his face, as although he wanted Kazuki to stay but he knew what he wanted didn't matter before the orders.

"Don't worry! You don't need much of my guidance for a while anyway, just focus on improving in change in chakra form of water style through the method I taught you"

"I also have left few water style jutsu with Lady Tsunade, so just focus on training."

Kazuki seemed to have spotted the struggling look on Nawaki's face, calmly assuring him to stay positive and just focus on improving himself.

"I understand; I won't let down your trust me."

Kazuki's words worked like magic as bringing a determined look assuring Kazuki not to worry him.

"That's good; see you next time then."

"Wait…

Saying that, Kazuki turned around to leave as he had a lot of preparation to do but the voice of Nawaki from behind suddenly halted his movements.

Curiously Kazuki turned around and found Nawaki gazing at him with an abnormally serious face.

"Please take care of yourself, Kazuki-San!"

Said Nawaki loudly with a serious look on his face, next stretching out his right fist towards him.

"You as well."

Kazuki took a few seconds to respond and just looked into Nawaki's eyes, only finding goodwill for him in them, so bringing his hand forward to dab back and wishing back, a small smile on his face.

Next day,

Kazuki who was ready and was just waiting for official orders to gather, received an order to come to main camp as Sakumo had requested to meet him.

Wondering what Sakumo wanted from him, Kazuki headed towards the camp and was greeted by Sakumo himself.

"Chunin?"

But after the greeting, Sakumo took out a piece of paper and a green flak jacket and stretched it towards Kazuki who looking at the information on the paper muttering out with a surprised look on his face.
