25 I've Tamed a Magical Treasure!

Natsuhiko began by creating a clone that overlapped with his main body using the Projection Jutsu, followed by employing the Body Flicker Jutsu and other methods to leave the original position. Taking advantage of the confusion caused by his clone's actions, he circled around the opponent, using the Thousand Years of Death to make the enemy experience a pain more severe than death.

This was the basic tactic designed by Natsuhiko for his newly created Rune Nin-taijutsu.

Of course, the Thousand Years of Death was just a bit of dark humour added by Natsuhiko during his practice sessions, and he dared not use it in actual combat. After all, Natsuhiko-sensei couldn't afford to lose his hard earned image in such a manner.

To be honest, this tactic didn't have many novel elements; similar effects could be achieved with Clone Jutsu or Shadow Clone Jutsu. However, compared to simple Clone Jutsu, his Projection Jutsu had a vast variety of applications, making it more deceptive. Additionally, compared to Shadow Clone Jutsu, his Projection Jutsu consumed less chakra. More importantly, Natsuhiko could use this tactic without hand seals, making its use quite practical against an opponent.

Although it sounded ordinary, it was an effective weapon in actual combat.

It suddenly made Natsuhiko recall his ex-girlfriend from his previous life.

Even though Natsuhiko successfully executed this tactic, he seemed dissatisfied with his performance.(LMAO)

"The coordination timing between the Projection Jutsu and Body Flicker Jutsu is slow by 0.1 seconds. It's highly likely that opponents can see through it," he critiqued his actions in his mind.

Aside from this, Natsuhiko also noticed a small issue.

"I always feel like this straightforward combat style doesn't quite match my taste," he shook his head somewhat helplessly.

"After all those large Illusory Domains I used during class are more to my liking."

In simple terms, after playing a lot of 3A-Rank games, one can't appreciate pixel games with full-screen gameplay. Or, having seen a lot of NTR, pure love seems tasteless.

However, Natsuhiko also knew that those large Illusory Domains, despite being impressive, were mere illusory shadows and lacked destructive power. Not to mention, they consumed a considerable amount of chakra. While effective against weak opponents, they might not be as effective against Jonin-level opponents.

At this moment, Natsuhiko felt that his current position was somewhat similar to Kurenai Yuhi in the future – impressive against weaker foes but struggling against experts.

To avoid being forced to retire after a few hundred episodes, Natsuhiko painstakingly developed Rune Nin-taijutsu, hoping to break through his current bottleneck.

"As for the issue of this tactic being monotonous..."

Natsuhiko pondered, pinching his chin.

"I guess I'll have to wait for the Rune version of Shadow Clone Jutsu to be completed. That way, the illusory shadows it creates can be both real and fake, giving me more room to perform various tricks."

"Also, with Barrier Jutsu, if I can develop an instant barrier that's not so fragile, it should be interesting when combined with Taijutsu."

After summarising his thoughts, Natsuhiko continued to experiment with various applications of this tactic until his chakra was depleted.

After concluding his day of training, Natsuhiko took a hot bath to relax. When he returned to the study after his shower, it was already 10:30 at night.

At this time, Number Three was also in the study. Perhaps because their bodies were still child-sized, the three little ones sitting at their designated spots all appeared drowsy, struggling to keep their eyes open.

"Alright, let's call it a day," Natsuhiko announced, clapping his hands.

Upon hearing Natsuhiko declare the end of the work, the three little workers, who were only three years old, finally perked up. After cheering, they quickly ran to line up in front of Natsuhiko.

Natsuhiko first walked to the front of Number One and said, "Good night, Number One."

Number One let out a big yawn, saying, "Good night, Main Body."

As soon as the words fell, Natsuhiko formed a few hand seals and placed his right hand on Number One's stomach.

"Infant Seal."

He spoke lightly.

Peng sound! Number One disappeared in white smoke, turning into an invisible chakra.

Originally, this chakra should have returned to the main body, bringing back all the memories of Number One from today. However, under Natsuhiko's Infant Seal, this chakra was gradually distorted and compressed, eventually sealed into a half-red, half-white wooden sphere that appeared out of thin air.

Next, the sphere fell to the ground, making a crisp sound.

Natsuhiko picked it up from the ground and couldn't help but lift the half-red, half-white sphere, yelling, "I've tamed a magical treasure!"

Number Two and Number Three: (⊙_⊙) Staring~~

Natsuhiko's face turned slightly red, he coughed lightly twice, and then placed the sphere on the table.

This small sphere was actually Natsuhiko's specially crafted container using interference arrays, used to seal various objects. Apart from this, it had another function – it could seal various items.

So, Natsuhiko referred to the wooden sphere he made as a "Seal Ball."

He showcased this Seal Ball used by the novice Yin-Yang Master Satoshi during class. Although fundamentally similar to storage scrolls, Natsuhiko used them in a rather strange way.

He used them to seal his own clones.

While Natsuhiko reduced the consumption of chakra reserves of Shadow Clone jutsu through interference arrays, allowing him to create more clones simultaneously, the problem of a significant mental burden during memory return still existed.

To address this issue, Natsuhiko's solution was to let the memories slowly return instead of in a split second. To achieve this, he would seal his clones inside the Seal Ball.

The principle was not complicated. All Natsuhiko needed to do was intentionally leave a loophole in the technique formula when using the Sealing Jutsu. This loophole caused the chakra sealed in the Seal Ball to gradually leak over time. The leaked chakra carried sporadic memories and returned to Natsuhiko's main body through an inexplicable connection.

Because the process of chakra carrying memories back to the main body was extended by a considerable amount of time, it wouldn't burden the main body. At the same time, to avoid the continuous reception of memories affecting his daily life, Natsuhiko scheduled the memory reception during his sleep, unconsciously absorbing the clone's memories in his dreams.

After sealing Number One in the Seal Ball, Natsuhiko repeated the process, sealing Number Two and Number Three.

First was Number Two.

Natsuhiko: "Good night, Number Two."

Number Two: "Good night, Dad—"

Natsuhiko: "Infant Seal!"

Another half-red, half-white Seal Ball appeared on the ground.

Next was Number Three.

Natsuhiko: "Good night, Number Three. By the way, you don't have to reply; your breath stinks when you talk."

Number Three: "I—"

Natsuhiko: "Infant Seal!"

Another half-red, half-white Seal Ball appeared on the ground.

Now, the study was empty, leaving only Natsuhiko. Holding the three Seal Balls, he walked into his room and placed them in the three slots on the bedside table.

Various memories began to gradually surface in Natsuhiko's mind, making him feel drowsy quickly. After letting out a big yawn, Natsuhiko, facing the three Seal Balls, said "Good night" once again. He turned off the lights and went to bed.
