7. Academy days-I

Ryu pov

After Ino and nee-chan's episode, Ino too decided that she will train with me and Nee-chan. But seeing the glint in eyes and gleeful smile on nee-chan's face, she decided to back out but alas it was too late. Then I decided to interfere because Ino-chan can't handle the harshness with her untrained body, so I suggested nee-chan that I'll guide her initially then she might want to take it over after initial body conditioning. Agreeing on that note, both Ino and nee-chan promised to do as I say and we parted our ways.

From next day on-wards, I started to instruct Ino on body conditioning such as doing endurance training by running around village, hearing this she started sweat thinking about her legs, but she didn't say no to it because she wanted to catch up with me and I particularly was very happy about it. So, I too started running with her at her pace for few days in early morning so no one can disturb us and I particularly told her to keep it to our-selves, also she can inform her whereabouts to her parents.

And the very next day of training she took me to her house and introduced me to her parents with red face. Her mother understood what was going on and her father's face became very stern seeing that her daughter brought a boy with her to introduce them and was thinking to give him "typical if you harm her then you die" warning but before her parents could react, I introduced myself very politely.

Ryu while bowing politely," Hello Good Morning, My name is Ryu Shirokami,I am 7 years old and an orphan. Ino is my very first friend and best friend too and I am happy to make your acquaintance."

Seeing this cute little boy bowing politely and introducing himself, her mother squealed "KAWAI"and hugged him instantly.

Seeing this Ino was very furious and began shouting,"kaa-chan, Don't suffocate my Ryu-kun."

Hearing this her father fainted and her mother was laughing hysterically while holding Ryu in her lap.

Both Ryu and Ino were blushing blood red, Ryu for being handled in such a way by her and Ino for her word slip.

After few moments, both her parents welcomed him and began asking about himself and his future plans, which Ryu replied," I want to be strong and capable ninja in order to protect my friends and well future family.(finished later bit quietly). Hearing this both her parents smiled thinking about his goal, while Ino's mom began teasing him about who is he talking about future family and will Ino be part of it she said jokingly, while Ryu blushed bright red not knowing whether to deny or not.

After discussing about Ryu, he asked if it was alright for Ino to join him for some light training, hearing this both her parents were surprised looking towards Ino who was still red face and asked her," is it true princess do you want train this early, you are not even in academy,"

Ino began telling that Ryu trains early to be capable ninja and she doesn't want to stay behind him.

Seeing where it was going, both her parents understood that their daughter is growing up and already infatuated with the boy in front of them and surprisingly they both approved of her choice and can clearly see the potential of the boy in front of them and he was still better than those rigid and arrogant clan heirs and they were also seriously worried about her fangirl-ing around that uchiha kid with her friends, now they are quite relieved that their daughter was on the right track and that she will be on par with other clan heirs, who can tell maybe little ahead of some of them.

So, they both agreed as it was good for her to have some basic training, while discussing things they invited Ryu to have lunch with them and Ryu agreed to spend some time with Yamanakas.

After lunch both Ino and Ryu went off to play with friends and on the way they discussed about starting Ino's training from tomorrow early morning. Ino was beyond excited as she gets to be strong with her Ryu-kun so she can help him when time comes.

After that day, they began to train together, as Ino and Ryu began to workout together after that Ryu would show Ino some exercise and he would practise chakra control by tree walking while she would do her exercise.

And this continues for next six months and Ino is quite capable in handling herself in stamina wise so Ryu took her to Anko for further training. Anko was beyond happy that she again gets to tor-ahem train a gaki and so their tor- I mean training began and on that day Ino was not able to walk herself so Ryu had to carry her to her house and explained to her parents about training.

Another Six months passed in blink of an eye and Ino was well trained for academy student, her chakra was mid-academy level and she knew all academy basics and taijutsu. Anko also taught her senbon throwing and little poison making.

Now the very next day was first day of academy they both were well prepared for it. They both bought similar colored(purple) clothes and ninja equipment for academy. All these clothes and equipment were gift to Ryu from Ino's parents for training her so well.

Next morning Ryu and Ino both were heading towards academy, on the way they their friends shikamaru and choji. Shika (shikamaru allowed Ryu to call him Shika as shikamaru was too mouthful and troublesome) was as lazy as they met on the first day, could not even open his eyes properly and yawning. Choji his other friend was quite chipper this morning while eating his chips and offered him some too, Ryu took one and thanked him and continued on the way to academy.
