Chapter 4- Umm.... Okay?

Kiyoshi walked to the Northern training ground, where Gai often trained, passing through trees, he heard the sound of someone kicking a tree.

"4394! 4395! 4936! 4937!"

Hearing this, Sakumo commented: "How long has he been doing this for?"

Kiyoshi replied, smiling. "He should have started…. Maybe thirty minutes ago. His endurance and speed are on a whole new level compared to your average ninja at his age."

He walked into an empty field and saw an extremely eye-catching figure in the distance.

With his red scarf wrapped around his neck, Might Guy struck a giant tree over and over again, his feet flickering as resounding booms could be heard across the entirety of the training ground.

When most people first lay their hands on Might Guy when he was in the midst of training, they would be completely shocked, worrying for Guy's safety. After all, he continued these movements for hours on end.

But when one looked more closely, at the tree he launched his blows at, instead, one would feel sympathetic for that poor tree. Though Might Guy was an extremely nice "Guy", he had no regard for Nature's bounty during training….

"Guy!" Kiyoshi called out to Guy, who was still immersed in training.

Guy suddenly turned his head around, seeing his old training partner. He grinned happily:

"Kiyoshi My youthful friend! Haven't seen you in a month! Are you here to train with me?"

Kiyoshi shook his head: "No, sadly I am not, maybe another day though. Have you done your daily spar with Kakashi yet?"

"Not yet… I sadly lost yesterday, and as I train right now, I am still thinking about what went wrong."

Guy looked at Kiyoshi curiously: "Why are you asking?"

Kiyoshi deliberately put on a huge smile, his teeth shining.

"I also want to try fighting him!"

"My blood boils just thinking about it!"

Guy blinked for a second before his eyes suddenly lit up in joy, he yelled loudly:

"Kiyoshi…. Have you been infected by me again? Then…. Our youth will bloom even stronger than before!"

"Again…?"

Kiyoshi thought for a moment, before remembering that previously, he had confronted Guy, with Guy thinking that he had kindled Kiyoshi's youth, which was true in some ways actually….

"Yes! The meaning of youth…. Is to challenge someone greater than you! In this way, you will ascend to another level of youthfulness!"

Kiyoshi proclaimed loudly, copying Guy's voice and tone.

It was probably due to the fact only Sakumo, Guy, and himself were present that he dared to yell this. If there were a few civilians or other Ninja nearby when he said that….. Might as well run to the Pure Land and die of embarrassment there…. Then again…. Is it only the dead that could traverse the Pure Land…..? Kiyoshi was not really sure.

Sakumo whispered to Kiyoshi: "Are children nowadays so energetic?"

Guy's eyes gleamed, and he gave a dramatic thumbs up to Kiyoshi, teeth flashing….

Kiyoshi smiled, replying: "Then we can go find him now! I'm already eager!"

Guy considered this, scratching his chin as if there was an imaginary beard there…

"Kiyoshi. You should fight me first! Kakashi is stronger than me, so you should try fighting me first! If Kakashi beats you to a pulp, you will lose all of your self-confidence! So spar with me! If you beat me, I'll bring you to Kakashi!"

(T/N: This part was hard to write… It means, that Guy was worried about Kiyoshi's self-esteem if he was beaten the crap out of by Kakashi….So he should fight Guy first in order to make sure he was not too…. Overconfident. Sorry…. I don't read Simplified Chinese so….)

Guy grinned, pointing his finger at Kiyoshi.

"What?"

Kiyoshi was stunned, he really didn't expect this. But then again, his best bud was quite the eccentric guy.

He quickly consulted with Sakumo. As, if you had an experienced war veteran in your brain, might as well ask him….

"Uncle… I don't think I could beat this guy…. Can you help me?"

Sakumo replied, "About how strong is he compared to you? If you guys are around the same, I could probably guide you to victory….."

"In terms of overall strength, we are about the same… But he most likely surpasses me in pure physical strength…"

"Is that so…. With my help, you can most likely beat him…."

WIth Sakumo's assurance, Kiyoshi stretched a little, nodding to Guy in confirmation.

"No problem… Let's roll…"

Guy nodded back, adjusting his posture, he looked at Kiyoshi with a serious expression on his face.

"Stay steady at first… Try to stay on the defensive side at first, find flaws in his technique and exploit them to your advantage, don't make any aggressive reckless movements."

After hearing this, Kiyoshi concentrated, changing to a defensive stance, ready for the incoming attacks.

Suddenly, Guy launched forwards, launching a quick assault upon Kiyoshi, fists, and legs attempting to overwhelm and knock out Kiyoshi.

Kiyoshi put his arms together, deflecting and blocking all the blows coming at him.

Guy's strength was nothing to scoff at, it hurt quite a bit, Kiyoshi's body taking the full brunt of the force.

After a while, Guy understood Kiyoshi's strategy, and on a few occasions, almost managed to get past Kiyoshi's shielded form.

Kiyoshi started to get a little more confident with Sakumo's help, exchanging a few blows throughout, sending mostly uppercuts at Guy's open jaw.

As Kiyoshi dodged to the side, a powerful blow shaking the ground instead, Guy ran forwards, jumping into the air, spinning around.

The Konoha Hurricane really was quite an annoying technique.

Kiyoshi was about to jump back before Sakumo spoke calmly:

"Don't go back! Go straight in! He is completely open!"

Hearing this, Kiyoshi adjusted his body, blasting forwards at the spinning Guy.

"Feint the chest and punch him in the abdomen!"

Sakumo spoke quickly, somehow managing to get a full sentence out in two seconds…

Although it was quite a long sentence, through the power of [Consciousness Synchronization], it only felt like a few seconds.

Guy was quite surprised. Usually, people would retreat in the face of the attack, as it is easier to dodge than block…

Kiyoshi struck Guy in the abdomen, sending him reeling a little.

Most taijutsu users relied on their core a lot, so it really knocked the wind out of Guy...

Rather than readying himself, Kiyoshi, though still sort of off-balance, leaped forwards, not giving Guy any time to breathe.

Sakumo said a few more instructions, which prompted Kiyoshi to dropkick Guy, throw him into a tree, and smash him down again….

Quite a mouthful.

With Sakumo's help, winning was actually quite easy, after all, asking a seasoned Ninja like him how to beat a random albeit extremely youthful child was like bringing a gun to a knife fight….

"Uncle…. Aren't you a little... Hardcore?"

"Hmm? In war, one must never pull any punches…" Sakumo responded as if it was common sense.

Well, it was common sense but…

Whatever.

"Uncle, we are not at war though…." Kiyoshi sighed, walking up to the grinning Guy, who seemed perfectly fine after sustaining a punch to the gut.

Guy sat there, murmuring in shock: "Kiyoshi… Since when have you become so strong?"

Before Kiyoshi could say anything, Guy swung his arms forward, hopping to his feet.

He smiled at Kiyoshi, before speaking:

"Kiyoshi...."

(A/N: The fight scenes sounded a little clunky I think….)
