Chapter 2 -Dilemma

"So uncle, do you regret it?" Kiyoshi asked tentatively.

Sakumo frowned, his face wrinkling before he sighed:

"Yes…. I left Kakashi with such a burden. That is not what a father should do."

Kiyoshi paced around. "Actually, I felt that…. The incident from five years ago was not really your fault."

Sakumo smiled bitterly, shaking his head.

"I shouldn't dwell on things long past. Instead, I should think towards the future."

Sakumo cleared his head. Looking around at the room's furnishing and surroundings, he spoke once again.

"I remember…. I have been to this store before, it looks familiar…. Is there anyone else… Like me in this store?"

Kiyoshi shook his head. "Only us two for now, but there may be more people joining us in the future… From the Pure Land."

Sakumo thought of the many people. People who could turn the tide of this Third Ninja War in an instant if they were to be brought back to life. But then again… They would doubtfully be able to leave these boundaries either. Either way, if they were brought back, the impact could shake the foundations of the Ninja World….

Placing his hands on a dining table, he asked Kiyoshi curiously:

"Who will be the next person you..."

"Uchiha Madara."

"Ummm..."

Hatake Sakumo shuddered, his heart skipping a beat. Just thinking of that man alive…..

Uchiha Madara, the former leader of the Uchiha clan, who, along with Senju Hashirama, created Konoha, the first ninja village. He was regarded by the civilians and other residents of Konoha as a villain, who helped kill Senju Hashirama, the First Hokage.

Sakumo got up, looking at Kiyoshi questionably, standing up.

"Why do you want to resurrect him? Won't that bring even more chaos to the village?"

Kiyoshi waved his hand calmly, telling Sakumo to sit down.

"Sit down… Listen to me for a second. It would make sense for me to resurrect him, just listen We all grew up listening to the Will of Fire and whatnot. I am completely loyal to Konoha…"

Sakumo sat down, looking serious as he steadily gazed at Kiyoshi.

Even though the villagers and officials had shunned him, Sakumo still possessed the so-called "will of fire" within himself….

Kiyoshi was dead-serious too. Looking directly in Sakumo's eye, he said solemnly:

"Due to the war, the cost for transporting many raw materials has greatly increased. The woodcutters do not dare to go out to chop down trees, and we cannot really rely on any other nations for these resources. "Although you are the gatekeeper of the Pure Land Gate, Madara Uchiha is a hidden danger who has the power to destroy the whole entirety of the Elemental Nations. Besides, you can always ask me, I am also proficient in Katon jutsu."

"Umm… No. Your fire probably is not as strong as Madara's. Our restaurant's stove is much bigger than the one you would find at home, plus it won't last as long, he has more chakra."

Sakumo was speechless. Were kids these days all like that?

Never in all his years would he believe that he would be seriously talking about "Katon Jutsu Cooking Arts" with a random child who also happened to be a gatekeeper to the Underworld….

It also hurt his dignity a little as the White Fang….

But it was true. Compared to Madara, Sakumo was probably a few tiers lower.

Kiyoshi pondered over this matter, before thinking of something.

Maybe…. He could also "employ" Hashirama over to create some wood. Not only would that create a nie-infinite amount of firewood, but it could also do for furniture….

Going back to the main situation at hand, would Madara be okay with himself being used as a stove lighter? Probably not. After all, he was known as "The Most Ruthless Man In The Ninja World". But that flame would be extremely ideal for cooking….

Kiyoshi once again pondered over the thought, weighing the pros and cons.

This was truly the temptation of Uchiha Madara.

Sakumo sighed. Best not dwell on this. The manager does what the manager wants. But then again…. This is a thirteen ear old child we are talking about. Well, Kakashi is pretty mature too, and he is only twelve right now….

At least Madara Uchiha couldn't get out the door either right?

"The question is… Will Madara actually listen to you?" Sakumo asked curiously.

Kiyoshi replied faintly: "It may not be good to say this but…. As the manager of this fine establishment, I can control whether the 'reincarnation' lives or dies and whatnot."

This was the power the System had given him, otherwise, bringing Uchiha Madara back from the dead was pretty much suicide….

Sakumo rubbed his eyebrows with his fingers, the fact that Kiyoshi could do this was….. Terrifying. He really needed to relax.

Sakumo took a deep breath, knowing that since this kid could bring him back from the dead, Kiyoshi was probably not bluffing.

"Is there anything I can help with right now?"

Kiyoshi replied: "Yup."

"Although we only have two people at the moment, we will still have to open this restaurant. Uncle? Do you know how to cook? In every restaurant, whether big or small, they always need a chef."

Sakumo stopped, standing up and smiling: "I would actually say I am quite the culinary expert. When it was just me and Kakashi, I would be the one to prepare the food."

"That's really helpful.." Kiyoshi grinned. One problem was out of the way.

Kiyoshi put his hands on the table, looking at Sakumo: "Uncle, is there anything else you want to do?"

Sakumo raised his head, muttering as he thought: "There are many things I want to do. Now, I want to see Kakashi… In the future, I want to see Kakashi wearing a wedding dress…. No, not him… My daughter-in-law in a wedding dress, and Kakashi and her, arm in arm, walking down the wedding hall, swearing at each other…"

Kiyoshi looked at Sakumo awkwardly. He did not want to break it to him that his son, as from the original plot, would still be a bachelor at age fifty....

"So…. You want to see Kakashi right?" Kiyoshi said, sitting down in a chair thoughtfully.

Sakumo nodded, and then smiled: "But it's not like I can leave this restaurant anyway…."

Kiyoshi replied: "Yes, you can't go out, but I can do it for you…."

The voice of the Pure Land Gate System rang through Kiyoshi's head.

A "Power of Aspiration" or will of a person that came from the Pure Land, was quite something. As long as you helped them fulfill their wishes or "Aspirations" you can reap the so-called, "Power of Aspiration from them…

These "PAs" could be used to resurrect a designated soul from the Pure Land.
