6 Chapter 5

Knox

When she opens her eyes I see ocean in there, the dark blue eyes of her just attracting me inside.

She's in my embrace feels so good but why. Holding her in my hand makes my heart twist in a good way.

Her sudden loose from my embrace confuses with the lost feeling, but her questions startles more.

Why is she asking whether I work here. Right, she doesn't know me because she just joined I nod because that is not a lie not giving her more details.

Am I such an asshole in the company that my employees are scared of me this much as she is. To ease her tension I ask about the situation. She explains the situation.

Wait am I smiling after 3 years of grumpiness for the first time someone is able to make me smile, I like it.

With the smile I offer her the file, the tension leaves her shoulders, I can see it. If I don't see these kinds of things how will I be the CEO of such a company.

Her tension leaves her which allows her to come to her senses. She introduces herself to me, which is not needed as I know her already.

But oh no! now she asks me to introduce myself. If I say I'm Knox that will make her more nervous as I saw the fear in her eyes before.

So I introduce myself as Matt my middle name which is not known to people in the outside world. Only close people knows my middle name hence she cannot identify me but she is asking me which section I'm working.

What do I do now.

Thank god her floor arrived and she left but there is a curiosity in her eyes of desire to know me. Then I leave the elevator and reach my cabin.

"Roger, would you inform Jones to meet me in 5 minutes."

"Yes sir." comes Roger's answer through intercom.

Roger is one of my best buddy who knows me from the start of the company, he has seen my breaking and me turning into a stone.

So he can only adjust with grumpiness in the company. So I'm not gonna let him go.

"Sir did you call summon for me?". Jones asks as entering my cabin.

"What do you think about the presentation, how did it go?". I ask casually.

"Sir the presentation went well and Cassandra did a good job.". As expected but I don't say it out.

"Good, so how is she to co-workers.". I ask to now more about her because I want to know more about her.

"She is such a sweet girl.". He replies smiling sweetly at me.

Ok now I don't like him because we both are of the same age and he is in more touch with my girl.

Wait My Girl!

Where did that come from. If it came then it is not going to go away now.

"Ok you may go.".

She will be MINE

Oh! What am I gonna do.

"Miss Cassandra Gates be ready for Knox Matt Lennon.". I mumble to myself and smirk.
