6.Healer.

"What is a child doing here?" The city lord Ye Zong looks furious.

"About to heal your poisoned wife if you shut your hole for 2 second you overgrown monkey." I say flashing forward and holding the wrist of the woman.

Indeed she has a potent poison running through her body. Its lucky she is still alive.

I spread my spiritual energy quickly through her body and drag the poison along to her wrist where I make a small cut with my thumb nail.

Out flows a clear liquid. This happened too fast for the guards or the city lord to react.

I pull out a vial and store the liquid before tossing it to the city lord.

"Here is the poison that was killing your wife." i heal the small wound on the wrist of the woman. "More than likely it was ingested, should probably check all your maids, chefs or servants for the culprit."

"Guards sieze him!" The city lord shouts.

I quickly shift into void form. "So this is the repayment for healing your wife? You'll regret this Ye Zong." I sneer as the guards pass through me.

"How will I regret this?" He says with narrowed eyes trying to transform.

"Do you think just because I healed the poison she is fine?" I laugh.

This makes him freeze.

"The damage done to her organs while you were fucking around is rather severe. Even if she doesnt die, her life is going to be extremely short." I tell him.

"What do you want?" He says with gritted teeth.

"Everything in the city lords vault." I tell him.

"You!" he shouts angrily.

"This is your fault you fucking ape, I came here out of good will to heal your wife and recieve a simple reward yet you tried to sick your guards on me? Get fucked. All the treasure and I'll heal her or you can let those idiots outside try, or wait for whoever tried to kill her first to finish the job. My offer expires in five minutes starting now." I tell the man.

Ye Zong can only grit his teeth, he only wanted to grab the boy because he was suspicious and had instantly diagnosed a problem and healed it. Plus the speed of his movement was suspicious.

"Fine!"

He speeds off to head towards the vault.

He wont give the brat everything in the vault he will just grab a small portion and say its everything.

He sweeps over the vault just grabbing junk and whatever is close before heading back to his wife's room.

"Here!" he tosses me the ring.

I look him right in the eyes. "I see you arent taking me seriously. Just some junk from.the front of the vault and whatever you could grab? Deals off." I tell him.

"Wait!" He shouts anxiously as I turn to leave.

"What?" I ask.

"Fine I'll give you the whole vault!" He says with worry.

"I want the whole vault, and your personal spatial ring right now." I hold out my hand.

He grits his teeth but tosses me a blue ring on his finger before turning to his guard.

"Go empty the vault into a spatial ring and bring it back." He says as the guard nods.

A couple minutes later he returns carrying a ring this time with all the items from the vault inside. He tosses it over and I catch it.

"Now heal my wife!" Ye Zong says angrily.

"No need, I lied about her organs as I already healed her, really not a single respected alchemist or medic amongst you all. This is just payment for you being a cunt." I pocket the rings. "You guys didn't even check her body heheh. However I wasnt lying about the poison. It really was fed to her so might want to check around."

At this time the woman in question cough and wakes up before looking around bleary eyed.

"Zong? What happened?" She asks with a dry voice.

"You were poisoned and I healed you. Probably something you ate recently." I offer. "Anyway your husband paid a steep price so maybe you should teach him to think before he acts. His mouth caused him quite a hefty problem."

Ye Mu glared at her husband who flinched.

"He looked suspicious!"

"After I healed you he tried to capture me." I offer.

"You could be the one who poisoned her!" he shouts.

"Dumbass, if I could get close enough to poison her then I could easily get anything you are trying to guard. Besides you probably have junk compared to what I own." I wave him off. "I was actually going to request to stay here so I could have some protection, however your first action was to stab me in the back. But you paid for it so." I shrug.

"Anyway I've got to go, I've got alot of money to spent now. So thanks for that." I step backwards into the cave of wonder and vanish leaving behind only a bit of sand.

Am I really going to purchase a bunch of stuff? Hell no, I'm going to lay low and cultivate.

Besides my little tiger is making it's way towards the ruins soon. I'll have myself a nice little artifact to play with.

Sure enough Ye Zong launched an investigation to find anyone spending alot of money or any suspicious looking children.

Luckily I've been mostly inconspicuous.

Sadly I would still end up being sold out by some of the sweet older ladies who sold me candies. The ultimate betrayal. Just because I'm the only one they see everyday.

However I wouldnt have any problems until a few days later but by then it would already be far too late.

Simply because I would reach Black Gold Rank and there wasnt much anyone could do to me. Not that I would care too much as I could just leave regardless.

However there was other information found in the form of a missing cook who would probably never be found again. Now all the food was tested before they eat.
