Slave Country

Akasan and Hanami were currently in the ocean, swimming towards the northern coast of Hampton. They stopped flying to avoid being seen. They swam quietly with their noses barely above the water's surface.

There were large steel factories pushing out great plumes of black smoke all around the coast. Demihuman workers went from facility to facility carrying heavy boxes of cargo. All of them in tattered basic clothing and no shoes.

Human guards in uniform oversaw the entire operation holding fully-automatic rifles and whips at their sides.

Hanami frowned. "This is horrible..."

"Lay low." Akasan said. "We don't want them to be on guard."

Hanami noticed Akasan's eyes were purple, but she felt nothing coming from him.

The duo swam underneath some wooden docks where a large cargo ship was pulling in.

Soldiers dressed in blue uniforms, blue helmets and black boots like the others were on it, lifting some cargo.

Akasan looked at Hanami. "We're going to blend in."

Hanami nodded.
