Birth of Nyx

Several millennia after the reign of the gods began over the earth, one fateful night out of many, a young girl was born out of the darkness— with dark blue hair that resembled the sky at night, matching her eyes. All of the locals considered her to be the most beautiful girl in the world.

The young girl was not only the most beautiful, but the most powerful. No one could have their way with her, and she would always have hers. Without parents to give her a name, a name was bestowed upon her— Nyx, Goddess of the Night.

Born without a sense of morality. Nyx couldn't comprehend the difference between good and evil, or right and wrong. She would watch how the mortal races lived how they saw fit, but it soon became apparent to her that only the strong and mighty had the rights to truly live as they pleased. All others were forced to kneel to that power.

Nyx came to realize that because she was the strongest, the entire world would be better off unified underneath her own rule. She saw all of the world's inhabitants— the gods, the humans, the absydians, the angels— as her subjects, lifeforms that existed merely to entertain her.

Thus from a young age, Nyx singlehandedly began her conquest of the planet, every last country fell to her feet— Titania, Olympia, the Northern Territories, Britannia, Arbok, Alfheim, Arcania, Zedan, Gon, Urvenia, Hampton, Atlantia, and the Jade Islands.

Nyx herself took shelter in the cold wintry climate of Olympia. This was where the majority of the gods lived, and was the largest landmass on the planet. With her powers, the gods had no choice but to submit, and thus marked the beginning of Nyx's dominance. She allowed the peaceful angels to do whatever they pleased, so long as they didn't interfere with her own interests. Her totalitarian rule went on for the next four hundred years, until she at last bore children by an angel.

They were twins, one named Amun and the other, Numa.
