Red eye creep

☆☆✞︎INTRO✞︎☆☆

In a magnificent mansion, a man knelt before another man.

"My Lord. It has been confirmed. The reason for your problem is that you have reached your limited time of living".

"Then isn't it much better"? The man spoke calmly, unfazed by the thought of dieîng.

"The thing is that you can only live in anguish and cannot be fully alive or dead except that person chosen will kîll or revive you".

"Find out who it is then"! The man's eyes blazed with anger.

Zues was really messing with him!

"You so badly want to see me do something as petty as falling in love? Keep dreaming"!

Sit back and watch how I'll make your chosen at my feet!.....

Lean figure with red eyes walked desolately in the street that had suddenly become empty. His lips stained with fresh blood that dripped from the side of his mouth. Surprisingly his shirt was still spotlessly clean.

He walked into the Palace, not minding his 'peculiar' appearance.

The guards all stood at the side shivering without any attempt to stop him. They couldn't even if they wanted to anyway.

His red eyes where one that could make a person feel lifeless even before an action bas been taken.

A servant shakily escorted him to the dinner table where the King stood, waiting for him.

He sat opposite the King leisurely, drumming with his fingers on the table.

"What do you have for me King"? He asked in a creepy voice.

"I had the kitchen prepare something. We could talk over a meal"... King Cyrus spoke calmly.

" Nothing interest me more than sweet blóód young man".

Devlin grinned, showing his dimples that would have made him look cute if not for his creepiness embedded in the hearts of the people.

The King signaled the servants who set the foods and a jar of blood on the table.

Devlin looked at the blood with disinterest. Did they think he was a mosquito that took any blóód available?

King Cyrus took note of his expression buy decided to speak up.

"Esteemed Lord... It is a great pléasure to have you in our country..."

Devlin's laughter made him pause. He looked up at him and took his eyes away immediately. His gaze burns... It felt like a dangerous red flame.

"Don't you think you sound hypocritical? Right now as we speak, I can hear your heart beat. I feel pity the way it hammers into your chest rapidly and I can also smell your sweat"?

Devlin said with a creepy smile.

King Cyrus clenched his clammy hand. Who was supposed to feel at ease with this man before them?

He took a deep breath to calm down. "If you can smell that then you can definitely smell this...."

He waved his hand and the servants came again with another jar of blôôd.

Devlin's eyes curved. He could definitely smell the two different blôôds mixed together in the jar. They definitely didn't belong to a person

His lips arced menacingly. "Who am I King"? He asked with sharp eyes.

"Y- you are the esteemed guest if our country"... King Cyrus said with faked seriousness.

"First it was a blood from a lowly servant and now what? A phoenix's blóód"? Devlin raised his beautiful brow in askance.

Not far from them, two little figures, the first one presumably 16 while the other probably 14, peeked from behind the pillar.

"Sister look. Isn't he pretty"? The younger one had a dreamy look as she looked at the red eyes man.

The older one slapped her head.

" He is a total creep okay? Don't fall for his creepy face. At night he looks no different from the red eye cat that you once saw in your dream".

Although she couldn't hear him, she could tell from her father's stiff look that he wasn't a good person.

The younger one's eyes perked up. "Really? I like that cat from my dream so much. Does that mean that he is my prince charming"?

The older girl's mouth twitched. "I though you hatéd that cat? You cried all day after you woke up from the dream".

The younger one pouted her lips.

"We'll that was only because I realized I wouldn't see it anymore after waking up from my sleep".

Devlin chuckled. His eyes trailed on the two figures that where 'well hidden'. It rested on a particular figure but only for a brief moment, before he looked away.

King Cyrus followed his eyes and his heart palpitated before calming down. If it could take one of his daughter to stop all this then it was a worthy sacrifice.

The older one pulled her sister away when she caught her infatuated gaze.

"Let's go Christine... Father won't like us eavesdropping".

Christine removed her sister's hand and ran back to the pillar.

"Come on Amora. I prefer looking at living beings than ghosts in books. You can go stay with your lover".

Devlin shut his eyes briefly and exhaled. "Do you know what I want"?

"I could give you if it's something I can afford".. King Cyrus whispered..

Devlin grinned.

"I need your daughter... The older one"..

"If you are serious, we can get it done quickly and I'll leave with her at dawn".. He said.

Christine's eyes widened... She was supposed to be the one that was wanted why was it now her boring sister?

She turned to Amoraand shut her an accusing look...

Amora stood at a spot, she felt fear crawling deep into her skin..

"No... No... This wasn't happening was it"?
