''Time sure flys.'' Said Zen while fixing his uniform in the mirror, looking at his handsome and fit body he couldn't help but start posing in front of it, this until he heard a person opening the door suddenly.

''Zen baby mom came to help you!'' when she realized what her son was doing she couldn't help but give him judging look.''Baby, I know you have inherited your mom's look but you can't be like that..'' she looked at him seriously '' You should let mommy join in.'' then she ran and gave him a hug and posing with him.

After 20 minutes Akashi was walking into the room and said ''Ototo, it's time to go.''

''You! Don't give me that ototo thing we are twins so treat me as your equal, thankfully you don't call me that outside or else I would call you midget,'' said Zen, it's really embarrassing to be called younger brother by a person who mentally is younger than him.

Right now Akashi was 5'2"(158 cm) while Zen was 5'7" (171 cm) although being twins their growth was completely different.

Hearing his brother's response Akashi turned around pouting and whispering ''It's not like it's my fault, if you weren't born I would grow taller for sure.''

Hearing him because of his high sensibility Zen thought to himself while looking at him with pity ''You actually would be the same..'' giving a hug to his mother he followed Akashi outside.

''Hey Akashi what do you think of joining the club, I heard that Junior high starts to be really competitive not like the playground in elementary.'' Said Zen to Akashi while walking inside.

''Well, we can do it, we haven't been getting better lately so it will help us grow in all aspects,'' Akashi responded.

''Then you get in today and I will ask dad if worst comes to worst I'll ask mom and she will use her tactic." Looking around Zen continued ''This school might not be so boring.''

Realising his brother was getting hyped Akashi couldn't help but grin.

Both of them have been itching for a challenge since long ago to compare themselves with the others the same age.

The day was uneventful until the last class, being the first day Zen gathered a lot of attention because of his looks and attitude who now by habit didn't talk much with people other than his mother and brother.

Looking at the time Zen walked up to Akashi and said ''Ill be going make a show out of it, luckily you don't have to go to the warzone.'' (warzone father office)

Whit this Akashi said ''It's okay, it will be a piece of cake. I already know more or less what the level is.''

Picking up Akashi's bag Zen said '' Then bye, pray for my well being.'' and ran outside to get picked up by the driver.

Looking at the driver Zen said ''Today my brother is staying for some matters, we can go first, let's go to fathers office.''The driver only nodded and speeded up to the destination.

In the CEO's room, there could be seen two people looking at each other in silence, this until Zen spoke.

''Dad, Akashi, and I want to get into the basketball club and play it seriously,'' Zen said with a serious look not avoiding eye contact with his father.

''No, and I know that You said those things last time about basketball to your mother."Masaomi responded flatly.

''No need to reject me like that besides ain't it all about winning Dad? You shouldn't worry, the first year we will win without any defeats if we do have one I won't play or better I won't touch a ball again.'' Insisted Zen with confidence before continuing ''Grades you shouldn't worry we know most of the things and it won't be affected.''

Masaomi stared at his son in the eye for 3 minutes before letting out a sigh and saying ''I hope you remember those words. Remember in our family we have a couple of mottos that stand for only on a thing, Win no matter what.''

Hearing his father's response Zen couldn't help but smile, opening the door he stopped and looked back at his father with cold eyes, one of his eyes turning slightly red and the other golden he slowly said ''The only person that can defeat me is and always will be myself, neither will any genius or prodigy stand above me, you should know that better than anyone.'' turning back to normal he smiled and walked away.

Looking at the door in daze Masaomi couldn't help but say with a smile '' This kid it's been a while since he let out his arrogance openly, but he really is a freak.'' going back to work.

----MEANWHILE IN TEIKO TRYOUTS-----

In the court, there could be seen 4 players looking down at the players of the 1st string who were panting in the ground.

A 5'9'' boy with brown skin, navy blue hair parted to his right side, with his dark blue eyes slightly squinted with a shirt with the number 5 looked to the other and started laughing ''AHAHAHAH you guys are good, I want to play 1v1 against each and every single one of you.''(Daiki Aomine)

Yawning an abnormally tall youth with 6'1'' which for his age was a lot, with shoulder-length, lavender hair that touches his back and violet eyes said with a bored look ''No, I need to go eat, I am hungry.''(Atsushi Murasakibara)

Followed by another giant for his age standing at 5'9'' with dark green hair parted to his left so that it doesn't reach his light green eyes and wearing black-framed glasses said ''I won't do something so unnecessary, with my shoots I would win without a challenge, besides I need to go and pick up my lucky Item.''(Shintaro Midorima)

lastly, Akashi said ''I need to go talk with the captain, we still have one last person to join the 1st string.'' walking to the direction of the coach.

The others looked at each other while wondering who the new member will be.

''Ohh if it ain't our new point guard what is wrong?'' asked Naoto Sanada (Head Coach) to the red-haired youth approaching him.

''Coach There is still my brother missing, he was unable to appear but I assure you that he is even better than the 4 of us.'' Answered Akashi.

''Ahh, Seijuro Zen right I know he already talked to me in the morning.'' responded the Coach while looking at the approaching Shuzo Nijimura ''What is wrong Nijimura?'' he asked.

''Coach I would like Akashi to become the Vice-Captain of the team, he has extremely good leading skills and control over the court, besides he is good at communicating to his teammates and is an approachable person only adding up and fitting the role.'' Said the 5'10'', short black-haired youth with light grey eyes to the coach very calmly.

Looking at Akashi and Nijimura, Naoto said ''I was thinking the same Nijimura and since you have the same opinion as me then it's set.'' looking at Akashi with a smile he said ''Let's work together vice-captain."

Akashi responded '' Gladly, I will do my best in helping the team.''

Meanwhile, in the people assigned to the 3rd string, there could be seen a 5'1'' light blue hair and eyes with a blank gaze coupled with his fragile and small build saying to the Coach (Daigo Matsuoka)'' Ano... Coach, you forgot me.''(Tetsuya Kuroko).

Jumping up from the chair Daigo looked at Kuroko and said ''Wooow my heart, *uff* I thought I was going to die, hmm? you must be Kuroko I was just looking at your papers and didn't see you go and sub up with that short kid over there.'' he pointed to a kid in the court, after Kuroko was gone he asked himself "When did he appear beside me? Well, forget it.''

This happening didn't escape Akashi's Eyes smiling he said to himself ''Well he will fit in the plan of a perfect team.'' turning to around and walking away.
