I stared at Joon as he slept comfortably in the hospital bed, my eyes assed his other injuries before narrowing back on his peaceful face. According to Hae-In and Lee, Joon took a wrong step and fell down a flight of stairs. He sprained his right wrist and his left ankle then had a few cuts on his face.

I side eyed Hae-In “And you said he got these injuries by falling down some steps?” I asked him while giving him a look of disbelief.

"It was a flight of stairs." He corrected from his spot in the chair, he and Lee were also injured. Hae-In's right arm propped in a sling and he also had a huge bandage gauze above his left eyebrow while Lee had a few scratches and stitches.

“Mmmhm.” I hummed as I fold my arms, no way he got these injuries from falling down some damn stairs.

I looked at Lee, who sat in the other chair “Lee, Hae-In.” They perked up at their names “Y’all can tell me the truth.” I turned to them “How y’all really got hurt?” I asked again.
