Prologue: Are Men Created Equal?

Hey, I know this is kind of sudden but I want your honest opinion on something.

Do you think, men are created equal?

In today's world, a proper society should and must constantly strive for equality. There are always those who clamor for men and women to be equal and should be given equal opportunities. As such, as time passed, women's employment has been on the rise, and women can vote and have a voice in public settings. Sometimes, they will even argue over the order of names in a family registry. The public opinion of people with disabilities has also changed. Whereas before they were treated as outcasts in society, a shame in the family, a devil spawn to some, but now we have been told to not refer to them as "disabled people" and treat them with kind gestures. We are taught that all people are equal.

But they never really explained it. Not in detail. So is it true? Are men created equal from one to another? 

I have my doubts. 

I believe men and women have different abilities, thus their roles should also differ. And people with disabilities are still disabled, no matter what polite euphemisms you use. No matter how you try to close your eyes, you can't change reality. 

In conclusion, my honest answer would be, "No, we are not equal." Equality can not exist. For we to be equal is to challenge nature itself.

Long ago, a great man once said that heaven does not set one man above or below any other. However, he did not necessarily adhere to the idea that everyone is equal. Did you know that there is more to that famous passage? The rest goes like this: Everyone is equal when they are born, so I ask, why do we see differences in position and status? And it continues: Do you or do you not encourage learning to create a difference?

That means education creates an imbalance. This was further mentioned, in the incredibly famous work of Gakumon no Susume. Even though the year is 2020, the modern age, nothing about these teachings has changed. The situation has only grown more complex and fraught. 

In any case, we are human beings. We are living, breathing, thinking creatures. I don't think it's right to simply call that we are unequal and to say we've lived our lives based on pure instinct. It's what differs us from animals. 

In other words, although "equality" is a complete lie. That being said, we cannot accept inequality, either. It's a tough nut to crack that people have been trying to solve. To be or not to be.

Right now, It has become a mission of mine to come up with an acceptable answer for humanity's eternal conundrum.

Though the future may seem hazy now, do you think you'll find a job someday? Find your other half and get married? Have kids and grow old together? It's what I used to think. Back when I finished my compulsory education and became a high school student, I hadn't really considered the future, on what's ahead. I've only felt joy in being free of duty and obligations. I didn't think that the school I was going to would influence me so greatly to the point I wouldn't recognize w̠̼͎̋̅́h̴͇̻͙̬̰̪̖̅ͪ̃ͫoͤ͛̅͏̹̩ ̴͎͔̜̻͚͈̬͌̿ͪ͛a͇͇̜͉̟͔̹̥̓̀͘ņ̯͕̠͚ͦ̔ͣ̌d̯̲̰͚͇͙̜̰̅́̃͜ ͙̳͍̥̭̝ͥ͐ͮ̆͡w͕͓̞̖ͧ̎̒̀h̸̪̼̥̫̰ͭą̟̬̂̈ͭͦt̨̺̗͚̜̺͎ͩ̊͊ͅ ̜̺̲̟̞̪̗̲̽̾ͬͤ͜Ị̵̥̠͌ ̧̬͚̮͕ͥ̍͊a͖̱͕̬̩̜ͪ̇ͩ̌͡m̧̳̙͍̖͇̙ͦͅ. Much like the people around my age I didn't even understand the purpose behind studying words or numbers.
