Dare

"Xiamo, Xiamo. Wake up! It's already noon." Xiamo squinted her eyes because of the sun. Today was finally a weekend. She yawned and stretched her arms. Lingling, her cat snuggled with her. Xiamo gently rubbed its tummy. Her room mate, Xiaosha, woke her up by opening the curtains.

"What were you dreaming last night? When I came into the room, you were kissing your pillow." Xiamo was shocked and blushed. She dreamt about her favorite model, Zhang Zehai and pretended to get married to him. Xiamo wouldn't dare to say any words. She laughed to herself. Xiaosha understood and left her room, "Hurry, your friends called and they said to meet up with them at the cafe across the street." Xiamo gave an okay and told her she was going to change.

"I'll let you know when I'm done."

Several minutes after, Xiamo finished cleaning herself, she started to do some make up. Even if it's a weekend, meeting up with friends with makeup will look more attractive than seeing them with eye bags. She yawned again. Work was busy as a professional lifeguard. She loved swimming when she was young and when she was in high school, she got her lifeguard badge.

"Ah, finally finished! Xiaosha! I'm leaving now!" Xiaosha waved bye and Xiamo quickly headed over to the cafe. The cafe was right across the her apartment. As she waited for them, she got a phone call.

"Xiamo! We're arriving soon. Can you reserve a seat for us?"

"Sure. See you soon!"

Several minutes later, Xiamo's friend arrived. She waved at them and they quickly came over. She was so happy to see them because it has been at least a year since she last saw them. Bingbing was one of them, she was a beautiful lady with long black hair and she was very slim. She looked at Xiamo with curiosity.

"Xiamo, have you ever been kissed before?" Xiamo was speechless. She has been single for all her life, what was she talking about?

"Uh...about that... no." She replied. It's sad because her expectation of her ideal man went up because of Zehai so she's a single lady. She sighed and was disappointed. Bingbing smiled at her, "Hm. If that's the case, then we dare you to kiss a hot guy on the cruise. Here is the cruise that we are inviting you to come with us." Bingbing showed the ticket to Xiamo.

"Ehhh? Kissing a hot guy? No way!" She suddenly blushed because truthfully, she does want to be kissed by a guy she liked. Bingbing and the other girls were looking at Xiamo. She wanted to go on cruise with them but she can't kiss a random guy!

"Uhm. Can I think about it?" Bingbing was shocked, "What's there to think about? Come on and have fun with us! Pretty please with a cherry on top!" Bingbing's puppy eyes were too adorable to ignore... she finally agreed to go on the cruise ship.

"Guys, we can all go! You can also invite your room mate, we actually got an extra ticket." Anna said.

"Guys! Thank you so much! How am I suppose to repay you guys?" Xiamo was grateful for them, ever since college, they've been so good to her.

"Nah, no need. I'll see you tomorrow at the airport!" Bingbing waved goodbye and went with the others. Thinking about hot guys on the cruise ship made her blush even more. She could feel her body heat rising. She shook her head again to clear up.

Xiamo called Xiaosha to go out for lunch. Xiaosha agreed and met her at the Fine Cuisine Restaurant near their apartment.

"It will be on me!" Xiamo said eagerly. Xiaosha was surprised.

"Why so suddenly? Anything good happened this morning?" Xiamo nodded.

"You know the friends I met in college. Today I saw them again. Guess what, they are inviting us for a cruise in a two days. Here are the tickets!" She showed happily to Xiaosha. But Xiaosha was suspicious, "I think something more happened, your face is red." Xiamo touched her face and started to fan herself.

"AHAHA, I'm joking. I'm joking." Xiaosha laughed until her stomach hurts.

"Well, that was a good laugh. I needed that." Xiaosha wiped her face and took one of the ticket with her.

"I guess we'll pack up tonight. Thank you, Xiamo. This is like my first vacation ever!" Xiamo shook her head, "All thanks to them." She smiled.

As they went home for the evening, Xiamo and her roommate started packing. They were packing so much stuff as if they were moving a house.

"Are you sure we need this?" Xiamo shrugged her shoulders, "Bring it, in case, you never if you are going to get sick." As they packed up majority of the stuff, they started to pack the miscellaneous stuff. After several hours of packing, they were finally done!

"Ah, now we can wait for tomorrow's flight!" As they lied on their bed, Lingling snuggled between them.

"Oh right, lingling's food. I'll prepare her food right now." Xiamo got up and poured extra cat food in a extra bowl. There, finally done.

Lingling brushed against Xiamo's leg and she gently petted her, "Promise me that you'll be good when I'm gone. Okay?" Lingling meowed and walked away. Though Xiamo didn't know if the cat actually heard that or not, she just hoped that everything will be fine after she comes back.

Xiamo thought about the dare and her heart started to thump quickly. Her...kissing... a hot guy... she blushed again and was unable to sleep for the rest of the night.
