148 She will be my next host

Kevin sighed heavily looking at his report. Onan was worried about the contest after seeing his stagnant improvement curve. And today's session was the worst as he barely got to read anything without Anya's help. 

Closing the laptop, he took out his reading glasses and sighed again. At this rate, only a miracle could save him from getting kicked out of the Defenders. 

"Kevin!!" 

He frowned hearing a cry echo outside his room.

"Kevin, are you here?" 

And when Kyra called again, he walked out of his study room in confusion. And when he reached the main hall, he saw Kyra and Lady Atlanta standing at the entrance.

"Kyra?" 

Kyra turned around hearing Kevin's voice. Tears trickled down her eyes, this time in relief and she rushed to hug him.  Her actions startled Kevin, and he looked at Helena in confusion. 

"She had a nightmare." Helena mumbled with a sigh as Kyra cried again in Kevin's arms.
