Meanwhile, Kimmy decided to stay with uncle Daniel and eat dinner with him. She immediately called Cain to inform the latter to go straight to Lewis' mansion instead but he was unreachable so she just left him a message to call her immediately whenever he could

"Missing me already, my princess? I'm on my way to the palace now," Cain answered at another line with a grin. Ah, he felt so happy, just talking to Kimmy like that, knowing that she was waiting for his arrival.

"Oh no, I'm sorry I should have messaged you already that I decided to stay here and eat dinner with uncle Lucas. It's a last-minute decision. I tried to call you but your mobile phone was unreachable."

"Yeah, I forgot to charge it," Cain explained. 

"Hmm, I'll go straight home now instead. I miss you," Cain added, making Kimmy blush on her seat.

She looked at uncle Daniel and the latter had a teasing smile.
