Strange gestures attracts more than simple gestures, may be strange association of Kylie and Edmund, drew his attention towards her.

At first Edmund was stunned when he heard that she is not interested in being with same group as him, and the more he got stunned when he came to know that she is the niece of the butler who is loyal to his father from so long but none are aware about his family till today.

Edmund, Jonas and Merlin are still in the same place, as Jonas and Merlin are curious to know about the next move of Edmund, but they heard few people gossiping around, "I never expected someone like her would be this generous and kind."

Jonas stopped one of them, "who is generous and kind, that too in our school?" The man replied, "it's none other than Selene Ray your highness, she is very calm, unlike other noble ladies she is neither arrogant nor egoistic, though she understood that she is getting bullied wantedly still she was silent and in return she forgiven them with a smile when they apologized, so many are impressed by her character."

"Not only that, she looks simply innocent and naive along with her kind gestures, though she is so-so in beauty still her good heart can be seen by her actions" the another one commented.

After speaking what they intended to speak, they left from there, Merlin laughed, "such an impressive compliments right from the first day, I wonder with how much love and generosity she has grown!"

"Why do I feel like you're giving unnecessary attention to her?" Edmund looked towards Merlin, in return Merlin smiled gently, "I don't dare to give attention to a girl who belongs to the kin of white lion clan, I would rather avoid meeting her in nearby future."

Edmund sighed, "I'm going back to my palace, would you people like to follow me?" Both Merlin and Jonas shook their heads as no, Edmund simply got into his carriage, but before the carriage moves, Rebecca got into the carriage.

"Are you mad?" Edmund almost yelled, "why are you getting into my carriage?"

Rebecca shamelessly smiled, "my prince, I'm here for you it's okay if you get angry, but all I want is you, so I'll do anything for you."

Though Edmund wants to kick her out of the carriage still he stopped himself as he doesn't want to get into bad terms with Duke for his future.

Seeing Edmund's calmness, Rebecca smirked thinking Edmund accepting her, after reaching the palace, Edmund got down from the carriage and directly went into the palace without even caring about Rebecca who is in the carriage.

Shamelessly she followed him inside, "should I follow you towards your room?" Edmund looked at a maid, "guide her to living room, escort her back when she wanted to leave."

After saying it without even sparing glance at her, Edmund left from there, watching everything Rebecca fisted her hand with extreme anger.

While going towards his room, Edmund noticed few maids gossiping, he simply stood in the corner to see why the maids are having such a serious expression, "I never thought an young girl will be this poisonous!"

"How can you say that?" The other maid sighed, "it's common for royal families don't you think so? She is from a noble family and closest kin, it's not too hard for her to get that position, there is no wonder to hear the news of her pregnancy, after all it is too common for a man and woman."

"I even wonder about whether she'll prefer having contraceptives or is she going to prefer giving birth to a prince" few maids laughed and left from there but a maid was standing alone while watering the plants.

After witnessing everything, Edmund simply smirked and went towards the garden, picking flowers he approached the maid, "did you've a good day beautiful?"

The maid instantly blushed, "your highness!" Edmund smiled while giving the flower, "you looks beautiful today, I think this beautiful flower suits to your beautiful hair."

Hearing to Edmund's words, the maid once again blushed while keeping the flower into her hair, he chuckled, "I think I've a little work, let's meet later" saying that Edmund left from there, but Rebecca who witnessed everything fumed with anger, as being daughter of a duke she got humiliated while a mere maid got praised by him.

As soon as Edmund left, Rebecca went near the maid furiously and slapped her, "you shameless bitch, what exactly you think about yourself? Do you think you're someone who is eligible to receive the flower from a crown prince? A low life maid like you are worthy to hold our legs, how dare to you to blush and receive flower from my man?"

Facing a harsh slap the maid fell on the floor, yanking by her hair, Rebecca dragged her from the garden and started beating her harshly, "beautiful face and beautiful hair huh? I'll make sure you'll never look your face in the mirror".

Taking the knife on the table, she started cutting the hair of the maid like a ruthless person, though all the maids are witnessing it, none of them are able to stop Rebecca.

Edmund interrupted the beating of Rebbeca, "enough, what exactly you're trying to do?" Rebecca tried to speak but Edmund spoke, "do you want to ruin the reputation of your Duchy?"

Rebecca stayed silent, Edmund looked towards the another maid, "escort her towards the carriage" listening to it, with a furious expression Rebecca left from there.

"Are you able to walk?" Edmund asked the maid in concerned tone, holding back the tears, the maid nodded her head as yes.

"If so, can you follow me?" Edmund looked towards her, the maid slowly got up from the floor and followed Edmund, he took her into his room and made her to sit on the couch.

Opening the drawer of the table, he looked towards the maid "I've forgotten your name, will you mind tell me your name?"

"Sasha, its Sasha your highness!" The maid mumbled, before Edmund speak something, Sasha fell on her knees, "I'm so sorry your highness, please don't fire me, I shouldn't have angered princess, please don't fire me."

Edmund made her to stand and glanced at her face but she tried to move away, he smiled "you're not someone either to apologize or to be ashamed, you're a victim, so you're not at fault, infact I didn't came in right time to protect you."

Sasha looked surprised, "your highness is so kind and generous" giving the box in his hand to her, "this is the most expensive and effective cream for the wounds, do apply them on your wounds, so that they won't leave marks."

"How can I take this from your highness?" Sasha hesitated, Edmund kept it in her hand, "you're in this situation because of me, so looking after you is also my duty, that's why don't reject this and make sure to use it regularly."

Sasha hummed with a smile even by forgetting all the pain, Edmund said, "I think it's better if you take some rest" after bowing respectfully, she left from there with the ointment given by Edmund.

"Its just beginning" Edmund smirked, and went into the bathroom to take shower after having a tiresome day.
