Leaving

   However, I find myself saying yes. A part of me wants to be the perfect daughter-in-law while the greater part does not care anymore. Aziel tells me we are going to leave in the old mansion for only three months.

      He hugs me again ahead of the next bomb to my ears. 

    " I may be leaving for Japan in the upcoming days and could stay for at least a month "

    A month is at least, really I am going to live in the old mansion without Aziel for a whole month. These people will light my pyre afore his arrival.

    " No, you can't " I refuse instantly. This is more than I can swallow. Not to sound weak but I can not go through these new changes in my body without him in the early stages. There must be another way, the real reason I wanted a child is to have him close to me and feel like these five years of my life were not a complete waste of time. I don't even Like children!

    " I need to "his voice echoes in my ears like a broken record.

    " When? " I asked biting my lips to ease the pain in my heart by covering up with physical discomfort.

    " If the deal tomorrow goes satisfactorily, I wouldn't need to leave " he pulls me into a hug and I cry, I let my tears fall and I mutter gibberish in my sobs. I really can't do what he is asking for. This month I will have to be a workaholic to stop thinking about his absence.

   Then again, If I tell him I am pregnant he may reduce the number of days for the baby. 

   I try to talk but I end up crying even more hugging him tightly like a child on the first day of school.

         I feel a sharp pain in my belly. It was only for seconds and it scared me. I need to tell him and supposedly get a check-up since it's my first pregnancy.

   " I..am..... " I struggle to say still hugging him. His broad chest makes me feel at home. 

     " The doctor needs you. " Addison, yells from the room. He kisses my hair and holds my hand as we open the door to the ward.

    All eyes fall on me, they can all see I was crying. This next month will feel like hell if he leaves. I don't know if it's my hormones but ...

     " I will be back " he pulls me in a short side embrace and leaves for the door.

    The room is quieter in the meantime. I check out the clock which says it's been two hours since Aziel left and luckily no one has picked up a fight. 

   Standing up, feeling hungry I announce " I am going to take a snack from the vending machine "

   Grandma Cecilia nods and I head to leave. Outside my sister catches up with me.

   " Do you need something?"

   She looks confused.

   " From the vending machine " I added with an obvious look to make me understand.

    " What I want you can't give me for I can get it all on my own " she sounds like she is scheming something diabolical.

  I nod and turn to vacate yet she holds me up by jerking my wrist. 

   " Don't you wish to know what I want? "She conjures a bizarre smile.

    I peer at her in a stuffy manner, very uninterested in this conversation.

    Grabbing me over she whispers mysteriously " I want Aziel "
