First quarrel

     He does not seem happy with what I said. However, he still pulled out a chair for me. " Thank you," I said to lighten the atmosphere.

    Aziel takes a sit, puts a napkin on his thighs and only stares at me. I pretend for a while, acting like I don't know he is staring. Is he upset? Well, I am right, we can't be so reckless even though we are married. That's why there is something called the bedroom where you are left in your privacy.

    Truthfully I can't take the staring anymore, " Why are you staring at me ? " my voice transferred my anger. He should respect me in a certain way by letting me take such decisions. It's my body.

       "  I can't tell, but I haven't seen someone so beautiful it's intriguing " he smiles mischievously.

     I try not to blush and smile kindly " Thank you for the compliment "

    " It's not a compliment, it's a fact " he sounds sure and confident. Unlike me, who overthinks everything.

      " Are you upset with me for stopping you a while ago "

    " No " though he refuses, I know he is upset. He adds after a while " You can always tell me when you are not comfortable "

     I know have to explain, but  he misunderstood me " I asked you to stop because we are in the kitchen, someone could walk in on us "

      He grits his teeth "  You don't have to explain ".

     I know he is still angry, I stand up from my chair and give him a long hug " I love you so much, you should never forget that " I wanted to remind him.

   He takes me and places me on his thighs and we kiss. The kiss was a long and sweet one, I wanted him to be mine even for now only.

    At that moment his phone lit up and he stood up instantly, stuttering he says " Something came up at work. Be good and get dressed for Grandma Vera's revealing ceremony tonight."  With a short kiss, he steps out ignoring my numerous questions.

    Later, I hear his car engine as he drives out.

   Left in such a huge house with a lot of food on the table. 

   Since I can't cook, I leave some for him in the fridge and the rest for our servants.

   The morning was spent in my study on new designs while in the afternoon I left for shopping with Audrey. While shopping I am not sure if it was only my hallucination because I missed him but I saw someone who resembles or maybe him in the ring section of the mall.

    No sign of him till evening when he called to meet me directly at the venue. I swear I am so mad at him, which gentleman leaves his wife alone. 

     It was settled I will call him up when I am close to the venue. 

       I wore a red ball gown dress with pretty ribbons and my hair in a tight French braid matched with my golden pair of stilettos.

     " We are here " Steve the driver announces. Immediately I alert Aziel on his mobile. Soon after he waves at me from the parking lot as he moves toward me.

    Opening the car he smiles " Hon you look perfect tonight "

   " cliche" I reply placing my hand in his.
