Dream or Reality

CHAPTER:1 

August 29, 2022:

 Office was silent today!

 it was never like this. Yes it was professional Investigation Department office, but it was always filled with duo conversions, jokes. Sam - Shambu fights for food, games. Shambu teasing Sam and vise verse. Everyone together, solving cases. Kiran was great with technology which helped team so that nothing is left in tracking, recording to find culprit. Vyom learning chasing culprits until they are caught.

 Office was filled with Confessions of culprits Kunal's slap stamp on criminal faces, ACP Ashwin dialogues, Dhruv sharpness, Tarun knowledge about the small details. Avani being the responsible hardworking cop for chasing and finding evidence. Vikram being there with his share of bravery to jump any dangerous situation to solve and reach the other end of the story.

 But what happened suddenly which changed everything?

 The Investigation Department Ark Ville City office was not a office for this all people. It was actully a home for them where their family use to stay. ACP Ashwin, Kunal,Dhruv,Vikram ,Tarun,Vyom,Shambu,Sam,Avani,Kiran,Ishika along with Dr. Anu, Dr. Sekhar in the extended family.

The family of Investigation Department where all use to share happiness sorrow complains.

 Jokes and finding clues were essential part of this family. Yes they were not connected by blood but were connected by heart.

 A place where sharp minds use to catch culprits, find clues where all use to tease n crack jokes on dcp but...but today it was different the smile from all the faces had disappeared.

 Yes this slowly started from last 7 months. Office has become like a deserted island for so many months but today it has finally declared as graveyard with no sound.

 The situation of Ark Ville City - Investigation Department office had become like this when he left everything behind.

 The cop who was tiger of Investigation Department who use to order, scold n be angry was lost somewhere now he had become a silent cop as the star of Investigation Department was lost with him all had lost not only the happiness but still they managed to keep their smile intact but today they also lost that last hopes to make things like before.

 They last hope was lost but how it happens why no one stopped their senior officer why?why it happened to them to their beloved officer. Dr. Sekhar, Dr.Anu were sad n were not able to believe of all reports what they got after testing blood samples from the evidence which they got only doc but also no one were ready to accept what reports were was stating.

ACP Ashwin was sitting on chair like a lifeless body, saluke was beside him sitting like he was crushing himself for being a doc where he himself must find that his son is alive or not n the truth was he is no more.

 Shambu- Sam lost their smile, laugh n there was only tears in their eyes Tarun,Kiran, Vikram and Vyom were not able to believe what they heard just now. They got the biggest shock of the life.

 Avani who was unable to figure out thing she was still confused what to do. What to say her eyes were red n tears were cont. flowing like others.

 All had tears but one person who was sitting down keeping his palm on his forehead and was shocked, stunned to hear what has happened he just can't believe his best friend his bro his beloved brother is no more in this cruel world.

 How can it happen? ACP Ashwin sir was crushing himself for allowing his son to do something which any father will never allow his son to do, and he is facing the result of his decision today its had been done because of one mistake of his. why the hell he gave him permission why?

 The person sitting on a corner was in shock state his eyes were dried n he can't think anything rather than his last moments they spent. He thought that this year would be a great year for him but this year had snatched everything from him. This year was just a cursing year.. Daam this new year.."NEWYEAR" yes This is the day when actully everything started...why did it started...just to snatch his best friend his bro from him.

 8 month...yes exactly 8 months 1 day back when no one thought that this could happen. The destiny was already making its own plan to snatch everything from him,ACP Ashwin,team.

 It all started from that day...that day yes that day was so good as it started with the fabulous situation. They all were so happy all smiling singing happily... ********************************************************************************************

 FLASHBACK:-

 28 DEC 2021...SUNDAY MORNING...

 A fresh morning...A new change, a new day...New year new life New Beginning of something unique is awaiting.

 Last two day left for the year 2021 to end but what was going on was something no one thought about...

A beautiful dream was planning along in background with the Story Main & Female lead which was imagined by their dear friend Dhruv.

 There is A round big bed with a white softy, fluffy bedsheet. It had a shiny shinny bedcover, few velvety soft pillows, Avani is sleeping exact in between the bed with a velvety heart shape pillow on her oneside,sweet, cute white color furry teddy on her other side. Avani is sleeping with a sweet smile,innocence,chubby face, cuteness was clearly seen on her face...she was in a white churidar(Indian outfit) Her transparent dupatta openly lying on her chest gave a perfect look to her slim body. Her eyes were close her eye lids had a little slight eyeshadow.. her ears having tiny white stone studded earrings...her hairs lying straight on her beside pillow...her half body till her waist covered with a chocolate cover round bed had down decoration bedcover, bed was surrounded from top with transparent white sheet on both was sleeping a pure n sweet and tension free sleep.

 Suddenly a sound of voices start entering in Avani's ears through her brain. Hearing this Avani feels wired in her sleep as she quickly wakes up and start moving the same direction of the noise.

 She looks around to find the direction from where the sound was Coming as her face fills up with tensed emotions. She quickly gets down of the bed rushing out of the room as she goes on running throughout the house. Throughout the garden, road and finally she stops in a field in-between the plants which had yellow color flowers which added more beauty to the nature. She was breathing heavily because of running as she sits on her knees with her head totally down closing her eyes. Her whole hairs fall frontside after a couple of minutes as she lifts her head with wide open eyes looking a bird infront of her with a locket around its neck which Kunal gifted her as he proposed her while she gets stunned to see to find Kunal standing at distance looking at her smiling.

 He was talk, well build body and innocent smile which represent his heart which was filled with love for their loved ones. He was wearing a white t-shirt n a black thick,shinny jeans within the field between the plants Avani looks at him as Kunal stretches his hand calling Avani in a hug looking at his actions she smiles broadly with running towards him with a tight hug as both of them feel the wamth of eachother and feel of squeezing each other for more tight hugs hearing the fast heartbeats of one another.

Kunal:(talking to himself while entering room of senior inspector of I.D (INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT) Oh no, he is still sleeping while mummering in his dam sleep. (thinking something looks at the person on bed)I have to find a way to send him out otherwise it will be difficult for me to go to the place where I have reach by hook or crook.

Kunal saw the guy who was sleeping shouting in his dream but there was a satisfaction on his face with a beautiful smile by which it can be guessed that he is dreaming about nothing but someone special and this special ones dream is signified by his smile on his other person who opened the door smiled as Kunal is well aware about the guy dreams as he was just so happy to see him smiling, soon he jerk his head as he walks upto guy still sleeping by sitting beside him pulling blanket to wake him up.

 Kunal:What the hell! Whom are you calling so desperately. (he try to remove the blanket as the other guy pulls it back) Dhruv comeon Bro, just get up now its been already late..

 Dhruv sleep was disturbed as he opens his eyes to find nothing but his bed and Kunal alone infront of him. Kunal looks at him puzzled while Dhruv rubs his eyes still yawning and feeling sad that he again dream about Kunal – Avani where as the reality is something else.

 Dhruv(mummering to himself):Ohh god, again the same god damn dream when will you be so great to make it true?(desperately looking at the ceiling of his home)When will this moment will come?? Whene??

 Kunal looks at him confusingly as Dhruv again pulls his blacket from Kunal hand with lying down on bed covering himself from it with shouting at Kunal.

 Dhruv:Bro, today is Sunday atleast let me sleep and have clingy drams about Anu. Please let me enjoy my life.

 Kunal made a naughty face then he thought about something as his face expressions changes to serious one while he stare at Dhruv covered in blanket while he pulls it back which irritates Dhruv.

 Kunal: boss,(which he calls Dhruv due to their long friendship)You have to meet Dr. Anu today, did that thought skipped you mind?

 Dhruv:(took his head out of blanket, look at Kunal)What?When was this plan made?

 Kunal:(bang on his forehead)You are the best officer yet you forget small personal things?

 Dhruv:(confused)What does that mean?(Kunal glare him so that he remembers but it irritates Dhruv)Uff Kunal don't you dare give me those looks, I am not a culprit who will be scared by those looks and confess my guilt which I did not do.

 Kunal:(laughs making wired face)Boss, you were the one who shared with me about this exclusive meeting of you with Dr.Anu. (glaring at him)You still don't remember? (Dhruv still make face as Kunal make face with giving heavy sigh)Fine, I will help you recollect. Today is the day when you are going to confess about your love to Anu so that you would be celebrating the coming new year with her in full new relationship excitement.

 Kunal happily narrates as Dhruv remember them having the convo but something clicks his mind as he looks at Kunal with a pity emotions sad eyes.

 Dhruv:Brother, I remember very well. But dude do you recollect the condition which we agredd on? (Kunal was confuse as Dhruv cont.)This was just not only for me but for you as well. We both decide that Both of will confess our feeling to girls we like and start new year in new relationship status.. Did you….

Before Dhruv complete Kunal gets up,he turn towards the window as Dhruv gets up standing at distance from Kunal looking at him. Dhruv is well aware of the things his friend has gone through these days.. He was dreaming something else for his friend but the fact remained unchanged for his best friend. Dhruv walks up to Kunal to console him.

 Dhruv: Kunal, my intension wasn't to hurt you.

 Kunal: (Turns to Dhruv)Dhruv Me and Avani are over before we started anything. She is happy with Sid, she is his fiancé so lets forget about that and not talk about old thing.

 Dhruv:(try to console Kunal but he stop him)But Kunal for once if you..

 Kunal:please boss, now just leave this all and go get ready its already late and (hold Dhruv by his shoulder with smiling face)today you have to confess your feelings to Dr. Anu.

 Dhruv: (smiling) Kunal she is mature enough to understand these things, its not important to tell about my feelings brother.

 Kunal:(put his hand on Dhruv shoulder) For everyone, its important to confess their feeling rather then being in assumption that the other person will understand. Speak up boss and tell your feelings. That set. Ok? (Dhruv nodes giving up on his best friends attempts )11 O'clock you have to reach zuoi café.

 Dhruv: (shocked )11...?why so early.

 Kunal:(nodes his head in disbelieves as he walk to Dhruv ward brow to pick his outfit)Wow, boss you ask so many question, you are in the perfect profession (Dhruv make face as Kunal watch him understanding that Dhruv mimicking him) Let it me and listen I already texted Dr. Anu to reach café on time (Kunal take a shirt as he place it on Dhruv to see if its looks good)Now don't start debating on why did I messaged Dr.Anu ok?

 Dhruv:(looking at Kunal) You mean you will join me as well right bro..(Kunal looks at Dhruv in confusion as Dhruv cont.)

 Kunal: I texted her from your phone that means he has impression that you would be the one who would be meeting her there and I am out of the whole situation. (raising his eyes)Got it bro?

 Dhruvu: But,(nervously bitting his lips)what the hell, how will I manage alone?

Kunal:You are going to confess, and I should be the one to say those sentences..(Dhruv scratch his head as Kunal smiles at him)boss, don't worry you manage criminals so well so what is there to handle a girl. (he again turn to pick out a blue shirt)This blue shirt is fabulous, it will look good on you

Dhruv:(nervously)Please come with me bro, just imagine it would be so awkward with the just the 2 of us.

 Kunal(glare at Dhruv for something then take deep breathe): Firstly, it would be perfectly fine, secondly I have some work at office so I would have to go back to work there is so much of work pilling up on my plate, so I have to finish it before the Acp turns up tommorow. I can't help you with this ok.(moving towards Dhruv)I am making coffee just finish up with your shower and meet me downstairs.. Fastttt

 Kunal winks at him and push him inside washroom closing the door. He takes a sigh while moving out of room with smiling.

 Dhruv:(mummers looking at himself in mirror)Bro, you tell me that there are no more lingering feelings for her, but I know deep down both you still love eachother. Hope you guys' release what you are losing on and get back together.

Dhruv makes a sigh as he start getting ready while in kitchen Kunal was drinking coffee sitting on dining table reading newspaper and waiting for Dhruvu to come down.

 In the room Dhruv was ready looking into mirror was practicing his lines and behavior to confess his feelings to Dr. Anu

 Dhruv:(standing infront of mirror) An..(nodding in no)Dr. Anu would be better.. (he looks himself in mirror) Dr.Anu I would like..(hitting his head)is this a official meet what the hell I am doing?? No.. I have to be little romantic Dr.A..a..anu…anu…..(he didn't even finished yet when Kunal call him)

 Kunal:boss, whats taking so long its already 10:30.. will you please do me a favor to come downstairs?

 Dhruv(irritated):Coming..

 He close his eyes as he make his way out of room while Kunal take last sip of coffee when he see Dhruv stepping coming down with Kunal's eyes gets wide open.

 Kunal:(wishles noticing Dhruvu top to bottom)ufhhuhhh...ufuh.. you look handsome boss. (Dhruv smiles feeling shy as Kunal smiles)Now, just blushing and start leaving.

 Dhruv:Kunal but...(Dhruv try to move to kitchen as Kunal stop him)what happened?

 Kunal:where the hell are you going?

 Dhruv: To make coffee..(Kunal hit his head)

 Kunal: ohhhh coffee?Investigation Department senior insp now needs a coffee when you beautiful crush is already waiting for you in café.

 Dhruv: What? But we still have some time in hand?

Kunal: no, you have to leave,(pass him car keys)take this car, I will go back to my house by my bike so now just leave. (Dhruv try to protest)Dude what every you have to drink, ear do it with her ok.. (looking at time)now go and spend the whole day with her. Its you "Date" with her. Enjoy.. leave..

 Dhruv:(Kunal pull him out n lock the door as Dhruv was nervous confused looking at his friend actions) Are you trying to kick me out from my own house?

 Kunal:(stammering)whh.what the hell? Why would I do that?

 Dhruv: (Smiling)Better, don't try to snatch my property from me.

 Kunal smile as he pull Dhruv with him opening the car door as Dhruv make his way inside it. He was nervous while Kunal bend down near car window patting on Dhruv shoulder.

 Kunal: You will do it, this is going to be the best day of your life.

 Dhruv: (smiling)You think so?

 Kunal: I know so..

 Both smile at eachother as Dhruv start the car and Adwait moves to get his bike while Dhruv waits for him to come nervously taking deep breaths. Kunal start his bike as he stop beside car looking at Dhruv.

 Kunal: It looks like you are the criminal who has been caught.. (Dhruv glare at him while Kunal smiles)Listen don't forget to take the flowers for the lady.(Dhruv nodes as Kunal start the accelerator to bike gear with moving from there waving his hand in air shouting)All the best boss..

 Dhruv looks at him then smiling nodes his head at his friend's suggestion as he also moves his car to opposite direction of Kunal bike.

 As both friends moves in the opposite directions unaware of the fact that destiny has already started its game.
