Chapter 9

Dawn -

I sat on the counter while she prepared breakfast.

Dani: 'You should stay again tonight good girl. You haven't played in a long time, I think you may need extra attention.'

I blushed everytime she called me good girl.

'Yes Ma'am.'

Dani: 'How sore are you?'

'Not bad, just enough to keep me thinking about it.'

She smiled at me looking pleased.

Dani: 'Very good.'

She fed me bites of fruit while cooking the eggs and oatmeal.

Dani: 'So today is equipment demos and the general safety overview. Everyone in the freshman class will be together. You'll get to meet the other instructors. A lot of people will see play for the first time.'

'Why are we having a group class on topics we have courses dedicated to? Like safety.'

Dani: 'The simple answer is that in this first week we try to give very brief crash courses on some of the biggest mistakes made within the community to try and prevent people from making them. Technically freshmen are not supposed to play on campus but we can't control what takes place behind closed or locked doors . The courses you will take throughout the semester go into great detail. You will not only learn why we take certain safety precautions but how to do them correctly. There will even be assignments where you have to analyze a scene where the instructor intentionally does something that would not be safe under most circumstances and you have to identify and correct it in an essay. But today for example we cover things like why you really should wait to try the intense play that we refer to as edge-play until you have the experience and knowledge to do so safely because you'll see a lot of images today of things that have gone wrong and you will hear a lot of stories. We know that people are going to be spanking and playing around in their rooms but messing with something like breath play could cause permanent damage or death if not handled correctly. Does that make sense?'

'Yeah it does. It's like you could take a full on chemistry class but the first couple days are going to be about lab safety even though safety procedures are part of the curriculum throughout the entire class.'

Dani: 'Exactly. Plus, like I said it is a chance to get all of the instructors in the same room with all of the freshman. The upperclassmen either have individual assignments or will be helping with demonstrations.'

She made us each a plate.

Dani: 'There is juice and milk in the refrigerator, I would like orange juice.'

'Yes Ma'am.'

I got down and opened a few cabinets until I found the glasses then poured one for each of us.

Dani: 'You have mentioned being honest with Cameran about us so far. If you trust her and her girlfriend, that is ok, but I do think that it should stop there. Honestly you would be hurting yourself if this got out because of the way people would view you. I can handle rumors, I've been centered around several over the years. At the end of the day I own this place, no rumor will touch that but you are a brand new baby.'

'I understand. I don't want a bad reputation.'

Dani: 'You should visit your closet before you come over tonight, pack some things to keep here.'

'Yes Ma'am.'

Dani: 'What sounds good for dinner?'

'Honestly Chinese food. I'm guessing that doesn't fit a healthy diet though.'

Dani: 'In moderation you can indulge. Did you just want Chinese or are you actually craving take out?'

'I'm not sure I understand what you're asking.'

Dani: 'Well if you're just craving Chinese in general I could go to the store tonight and get the ingredients so we could make homemade Chinese food but if you're craving takeout Chinese food I don't mind picking some up or having some delivered.'

'I've never made my own Chinese food before that actually sounds very interesting if you're willing to teach me.'

Dani: 'I am pretty sure at this point good girl there should be no question about my willingness to teach you.
