"You didn't answer my question," Lumielle said in a pointed manner. Was he enjoying the attention that Cosette gave to him?

Asterias Everion was known as an unobtainable man. With his smooth tongue and heavy smiles, women fell for him. He was amicable, charismatic, and had a lovely edge to him. Unlike Allard, who had given himself the reputation of an iron wall, Asterias was well-loved by those around him. That was until his family would fall from grace.

"What was your question again?" He asked, feigning ignorance.

Lumielle sighed. It seemed that he wouldn't be answering her question. Then again, why did she even ask. Lumielle didn't wish to know the answer. Bunching up her skirts, she continued to walk, a slightly annoyed expression on her face.

"No," Asterias said firmly after seeing her features drop, "I don't find Lady Cosette to be very charming if that was what you were asking."

Was he lying to her? She wondered.
