1 Introduction: The five kingdoms
A/n: Please do not expect any trope like magic, cultivation, or harem from the story.
Also, You can skip to Ch 2 if you want to begin with the story, this ch is an information dump. You'll get all of this in the story mentioned regardless. Also, a simple is available at the bottom of the chapter.

Ethereo was a rich land as it is located very near the green forests, sizeable valuable resource mines, etc., in the southern part of the world.
It is the most prominent Kingdom by far, being 2.1 million sq. km; whereas the more prosperous parts were located in the north, the southern parts mainly were used for resources it also had an extensive coastline to trade with other kingdoms, one day, some rebellions broke out in the capital 'Horizon', in the year 1800's the rebels began the struggle to control of the city.
The civil war lasted 26 years, leading to the nearly complete wipe of the country's royal family.
After the war, a power vacuum was created, and the economy collapsed. Many people who were united by hatred now broke apart, and different leaders who stood once together with a single goal now tried their best to get power.
The civil war ended by dividing the country into 5 different kingdoms under different rulers and ideologies.
The 5 kingdoms named-
1. The Kingdom of Brittania
2. The Kingdom of Saxony
3. The Kingdom of Axum
4. The Kingdom of Lynx
5. The Kingdom of Asphodel.
The different ideologies led the other countries to grow hatred for one another.
These kingdoms always thought of fighting, but the revolution left the nation with nothing. They first needed food, the northern kingdoms suffered a drought causing famine, and the leaders decided to use the remaining food to feed miners and other workers to get some valuable resources out of the mines. This decision was taken by every Kingdom except the Kingdom of Asphodel.
They traded their natural resources for food to different countries around the land.
Geographically, The northern kingdoms, the Kingdom of Brittania and the Kingdom of Axum used their location to mine large amounts of resources from nearby mountains and plateaus.
The central Kingdom [the Kingdom of Lynx] had great wood and water supplies as the capital is located inside the Kingdom. The old central rebel zone was now in the greatest danger as it was surrounded by all other kingdoms directly. But due to the old wars, the borders were highly enforced to defend against an invasion. It had the least amount of population, which played to its advantage.
The southern kingdoms the Kingdom of Asphodel and Saxony used their extensive forests to gather food and resources like wood, rubber etc; they also used the forest as a hiding spot, using guerrilla tactics to destroy the enemy troops.
Saxony and Asphodel also built a giant navy from large amounts of wood and used the hot springs and old extinct volcanoes as a resource of gunpowder to add cannons to the naval ships. Using their strong navy, they could trade very quickly, meaning with other nations, which then made the southern kingdoms make large profits economically.
The northern kingdoms had a large population they started recruiting large amounts of soldiers to get several advantages. Using the hills and the mountains, their shooting and archery become a point of fear for the other nations.
Each nation now schemes and fights for their victory and to reunite their country under their rule.
In this game of betrayals, lies, promises, minds, soldiers, love and blood. Which Kingdom will stand on top?
