21 Chapter 21: Shou Hei Kun

"Huh, Girl?!" I said shocked.

"... Do you think it can fool my eyes?... Did you think that by dressing her up a little, you'd be able to hide her from me?" Rei said with her piercing blue eyes.

Huh? ... does she have the wrong idea..?... However if she's right then....

"!!!" Without even giving me time to sort out my thoughts, Rei pushed me even harder with her glare that looked like it would kill me... It seemed to be just for a second but I saw her glance at her stomach before looking at men in disappointment.... She seemed to be having some wild thoughts which made me hesitate a bit before deciding that it was only right that she knew about Kyou Kai and our story...

2 hours later....

Rei sat next to me with an apologetic look... regretting why she was so hasty in her judgement.

I told her that I didn't mind it and also continued the talk about Kyou Kai...

She told me how it's obvious that Kyou Kai is a female by judging by her actions... She also seemed to have a body too soft for a male...

".. Are you all right En?" Rei tried to comfort me as she saw me distressed...

".. Yeah.. I'm just a bit tired.." I said softly as I couldn't believe that this Kyou Kai is probably my sister.... It might be a coincidence but the chances are low...

Kyou Kai has the same name, age, gender and most importantly, she's an assassin....

It was obvious that whoever killed my parents were assassins after we investigated it.... However Kyoukai was nowhere to be seen... If they wanted to use Kyou Kai as a hostage or to exchange something with me then they would've done so a long time ago.... The most plausible answer would be if she was raised as an assassin...

Many assassins take kids from a very young age to raise them...and Kyou Kai fit that requirement.... Not to mention....that Kyou Kai had the same green eyes as mother...

"Brother.. if it's really true then..." Yi said with a grin...

I was also happy ... However I forced myself to calm down since I knew I was at my limit and that if I were to gain hope only to lose it all at once then it'd truly be too much for me to handle.

Me and Yi were currently walking outside looking at Shin and Hyou's units which paled in comparison to ours.

"Hey! You're finally here Kyou En!" Shin said with a grin which annoyed me as I wanted to find Kyou Kai.

"What?" I replied bluntly.

"Heh..." Shin smiled before drawing his sword...

"Isn't it about time you fight me?" Shin said with a grin while his units looked at him in shock wondering why they were serving an idiot.

".. If I remember correctly then it was you who lost against Yuu En.. am I correct?" I said to shin who seemed to be affected by my words as he made a weird expression.

"Ugh... It's true that I may not be strong enough to fight you... However.. I want to see the strength of the person called Qin's great talent and the person closest to becoming a general out of all the other commanders!" Shin shouted as he charged with his sword.... Not even giving me a second to reply to him...

"Shin!!!" His unit shouted to him but he ignored and charged at me before jumping with his sword.. preparing to strike me down.

"Kuku... You fool" I chuckled as I was amused by his reckless and picked my glaive in return....

Just as Shins sword was about to reach me after jumping... I swung my glaive to knock him out... However he somehow blocked it with his insane instincts and was crouching with his sword Infront of him due to my strength.

"What.." Shin stuttered with his sword barely blocking my glaive.... He seemed shocked that I was able to counter and attack him that fast... Especially when he was already close to me...

"Oh?" I looked down at shin... Wondering how he was able to block that blow.

"Heh... You're strong alright..." Shin said as he smiled while sweating...

'Thats how it should be... Someone called the closest to becoming a general cannot be weak... This guy is the real deal!' Shin internally thought before he tried to fight back and put more power while slowly trying to walk forward with my glaive still pressed on his sword.

"Fool" I said as I was not even going all out and swung my glaive with more power and knocked him back far while his unit seemed to rush at him.

"Shin!"

"Are you alright Shin!" Said a bucktooth.

Yi then walked over to me wanting me to hurry up.

"Brother, let's find Kyou Kai already..." Yi said impatiently.

"... I know... hmm?" I said before stopping as I was a bit shocked.

Yi also noticed my gaze and directed his eyes to where i was looking... His expression was the same as mine..

Kyou Kai was next to shin giving him meat bun to eat...

"Take it" Kyou Kai put her hand out so Shin could take the food... However Shin just put his hand down with his palm open so Kyou Kai could give the food to her... However Kyou Kai just threw the bun at his face.

"Idiot" Kyou Kai said as he started walking back... However it was then that I saw Kyou Kai smiling a bit...

'I see... So you've found a place to belong to huh..' I internally thought while smiling as well.

Yi who saw Kyou Kai leaving was about to quickly run to her...

"Oi K-" Yi said as he saw Kyou Kai leaving however I stopped him as I put my hands in his arms.

"? Brother?" Yi said as he looked at me confused.

"... Don't go to Kyou Kai..." I told Yi.

"Huh..? Why?" Yi said while looking confused and annoyed while wondering why I would say such a thing.

"... It'll just affect her more negatively if we were to suddenly show up to her and tell her that we're family... She's also found a place to belong... We don't want to put pressure or add weight to her... It's better if it's like this..." I said while smiling.

Yi also seemed to realize that and apologized..

"I'm sorry for being selfish brother.."Yi said as he bowed down a bit.

"It's fine... Let's just try to see if we could help her from the shadows.." I said.

"Yes brother!" Yi also said enthusiastically.

"Yi... Shou Hei Kun sent me a letter this morning to have Shin and Hyou go to the capital tomorrow..." I told Yi about a letter i received from Shou Hei Kun who was also Ko Shou's student.

"What?!! Why?" Yi said shocked.

"... It's for a big reason... Shou Hei Kun also wanted me to be quite and not spread it around... But it seems like Riboku who killed Ouki is coming to the capital..." I said quietly so only Yi could hear but he was shocked.

"That Riboku is coming to our capital just a year after killing our great general? Everyone would be dying to kill him yet he's still coming?" Yi said confused.

"I don't know either but it doesn't really matter to us... however since they're leaving tomorrow...make sure to prepare the best banquet that we can for Kyou Kai... I have already sent Rai Ki to inform them about Shou Hei Kun's message." I said while being annoyed that Shou Hei Kun wanted to use me as I knew them better to have them go to the capital... He never talks to me unless it's something important...

"Heh, I'll prepare the most lavish dish for my sister!" Yi said as he went off to prepare since there was only one day which wasn't enough.

It was only a short while later that an announcement made by Ryo Fui would shock the entire Qin state....

The Qin and Zhao entering an alliance and Zhao handing over a city to Qin shocked not only Qin but also every other state that heard about it soon after...

I'm currently in the Royal Palace in the capital with Yi and Kei Ou as I have been summoned by Shou Hei Kun who said it was for an urgent matter.

"You're here.." Said a blunt voice.

"Mhm, we came here as soon as you called." I said as I looked at the figure who had a long shiny dark brown hair and an extremely handsome face wearing a blue and purple robe..

"So..? What did you call here for? Shou Hei Kun." I asked Shou Hei Kun who summon us here for something urgent.

"... It's about our next move." Shou Hei Kun said calmly.

"Oh? Are you guys planning to do something big?"

"I'm planning on doing a large campaign soon..." Shou Hei Kun said after pondering for a bit.

"Oh...? Could the campaign perhaps be on Wei?" I said while thinking what Qin's target would be.

"... That is correct.. we will be planning a campaign on the Sanyou Region... If Qin wants to take over china... Then Sanyou must be its starting point... With Zhao being in an alliance with us, they won't be able to interfere should we attack Wei.

"... So that's why you couldn't tell me in a letter... Information like this cannot be leaked... However.. I'm assuming there's a problem considering your telling me this.." I said while looking at Shou Hei Kun to see if he's hiding anything... However, he just admitted it.

"And why is that a problem?" I said confused... However Kei Ou seemed to have realized something as he looked a bit shocked.

"What is it?" I said wondering what was going on.

"Kyou En... If someone were to ask you who is currently the best General in China, what would your answer be? Would it be Riboku who slayed Ouki that is said the the strongest of the other 6 Great Generals?" Shou Hei Kun gave me a question.

".. No... The current best general alive... Would undoubtedly be him..." I said as I also realized what the problem might be.

"That is right" Shou Hei Kun said.

".. Do you think that Renpa would join the war?" I said while thinking more about it.

"... It's just a possibility... However if Renpa does intervene ... Then I can't see any way of us winning." Shou Hei Kun said.

... So that's the problem...

"Shou Hei Kun... What about Ouki? No one believed that he was gonna lose or die... Yet he did ... Don't underestimate this new generation... These guys are all monsters.

"Even if Renpa does come... I believe that we can still win!" I said as I started thinking about Renpa and his strength...

If he were to truly come..

Then it would truly spell trouble for us....
