20 Chapter 20: Confusion
Kyou En's Pov:
"Huh!??" I was incredibly shocked when I heard the name Kyou Kai but I quickly let it go since it was probably just a coincidence...
My men were also startled a bit which confused Shin and Hyou a bit...
"What's up with you guys?" Shin said while looking at me.
".. It's nothing... let's go inside my castle to talk now... it'll be a lot better than staying here." I said while still wondering why Kyou Kai gave me a strange feeling...
Could it be?... No it's impossible... Kyou Kai is a girl...
"Rai Ki dono..." I said.
"Sir!" Rai Ki answered while awaiting my orders.
"Bring Yi here...also see if you could find any information on the boy called Kyou Kai."
"Yes Sir!" Rai Ki answered without being confused as he knew why I gave those orders.
....
....
We then went to a suitable place to a talk within my castle.
It was a small office.. however there was enough seatings for All of us to be comfortable and have our own space.
Shin and Hyou's units were taken to a different place with some of my soldiers that wanted to go drinking...
Currently there was only Me, Yi, Shin, Hyou and their liteunants who were En, Kyou Kai and Haku Ren who were all sitting down while my advisor, Rai Ki was standing behind me.
(Authors note: Haku Ren is Hyou's Liteunant if you didn't realize.)
"So Shin, Hyou... what did you want to speak with me about?" I asked shin and Hyou who came here to find me.
"... Actually.. We wan-" Hyou tried to say but Shin interrupted him and quickly opened his mouth.
"We want you to train us!" Shin said while looking the same as ever.
"Huh? Why?... you guys are already progressing pretty fast... why do you still want training?" I asked Shin and Hyou.
".. Our dream is to become the greatest Generals under the heavens.... we're still far from it... and looking back on the previous wars... like the one at Bayou... we still need a lot more training!" Hyou said not allowing Shin to interrupt him.
"Hmm" I hummed while Shin and Hyou were looking at me expectantly....
As for their expectations...
"I decline" I shattered it....
"Huh!?" They both became startled.
"Why!?" Shin said getting up from his seat while looking determined.
"What do you mean why?... it's not like I'm obliged to help you guys..." I said annoyed.
"Is there anything we can do to change your mind?" Hyou said.
"No... also... the reason I declined was because It's better for you two to gain your own experience in wars." I said to the two of them while Shin showed a slight changed in expressions as he remembered Ouki's final words to him.
"But-" Hyou tried to continue however I interrupted him.
"I won't train you guys... however I can get a few of my soldiers to train with you guys.." I said which made them both grin a bit.
"That's how it should be!" Shin said while punching his palm.
"Kuku... if you guys can beat my soldiers... then I wouldn't mind training with you... I'll also teach you proper army trainings." I said which made Shin happily shout again while Hyou smiled and looked determined.
"Thank you Kyou En... It won't be long until we fight each other." Hyou said
".. Rai Ki, take them to the training grounds and have a few of my men spar with them." I said not wanting to waste time any longer
"Yes Sir" Rai Ki took everyone and left the room.
"Yi... What do you think?" I asked Yi as me and him were the only ones to stay behind.
"... I don't know... I also feel a strange sense of familiarity... but I don't know..." Yi said while sweating a bit.
I told Yi a bit before bringing Shin and the others to the office and he couldn't believe it... He was even more confused after meeting Kyou Kai...
We tried asking Kyou Kai some questions while making it look like some small talk but we weren't able to find out much other than him being an assassin and 15 years old... Which would be the same age if Kyoukai was really alive... However it seemd to just be a big coincidence....
But me and Yi don't want to give up hope and keep trying...
"The only problem would be that this Kyou Kai is a male... If he was a female then the chance of him being our sister would be high... it's a shame." I said while looking down.
"Yi... Let's go to the training grounds and watch them... it's a shame that this Kyou Kai probably isn't our sister... But don't lose hope... For now let's just watch the soldiers.
"Yes brother..." Yi said while still looking down.

Shin's Pov:
'Strong..'
'Insanely strong!' Shin internally thought while gritting his teeth as he continued fighting Yuu En who is Kyou En's first sword.
"Guhh!" Shin Grunted as his sword was parried by Yuu En and pushed away.
'its not just him... These guy all look strong... Their presence are on a different level!' Shin thought of before looking at Hyou who was also fighting someone...
"But... something like this can't stop us!"
'My Goal is to become the greatest General!'
Shin roared before making continuos deadly slashes with his sword which managed to injure Yuu En a bit who then decided to stop holding back as it would be bad for him considering that Shin was a lot stronger than he thought he would be.....
"No wonder my lord allowed a peasant like you to speak so informally with him" Yuu En said before he took a weird stance which made Shin instinctively know that he was in danger... However Shin just roared and charged at Yuu En.
"W-What did you Say!!!" Shin said in anger as he jumped to Yuu En... However... Yuu En simply moved a bit and dodged before swinging his sword to his side which landed on Shin.
"It's over... However I did not expect you to push me this far... You actually made me get serious to the extent that I would unconsciously injure you..." Yuu En said as he Sheathed his sword before bringing his hand to help Shin who was on the ground to get up.
'... I lost before even fighting Kyou En.. damn it... Next time I'll beat you!!!' Shin thought as he touched his injury before grabbing Yuu En's hand and look over at Hyou's side... However Shin was shocked as he witnessed the result between Hyou and the third sword called Shou Sin.
Both Hyou and Shou Sin were on the ground with both of them being out of breath...
"Damn it Hyou! You actually had a draw with him while I lost!" Shin screamed at Hyou as he didn't want to admit being weaker than Hyou.
Hyou then turned his head to Shin's side and just chuckled as he knew that Shin was fighting someone stronger than his opponent...
"Fu, it seems like I'm stronger than you.. huh Shin?" Hyou said as he smirked.
"H-Huh?!! What did you say Hyou?!" Shin shouted before running to him with his sword wanting to have a spar with Hyou... However he was instantly interrupted by a stern voice.
"That's enough!" Kyou En said as he walked over while clapping his hands.
"None of you guys have defeated your opponents.. so I won't be fighting any of you.. I guess.
Shin and Hyou both grunted before they walked over to Kyou En who opened his mouth again.
"It's currently time for dinner so go get a quick bath before that." Kyou En said before leaving again while Kyou Yi stayed for a short while trying to find Kyou Kai.

Kyou En's Pov:
Currently I was having dinner with Yi, Rei, Shin, Hyou and Kyou Kai who all mostly enjoyed the meal....
The food was similar to what Steak was during the modern era...
I too would have also enjoyed it if it wasn't for the Constant glares that Rei has been giving me ever since we started eating... Although she tried her best to not openly show it Infront of everyone, I was still able to tell due to the many glances she gave me which shivers down my spine.
....
It wasn't long after that we finished the meal and Rei brought me to somewhere private with a glare..
"Rei, What's wr-" I tried to ask what was wrong before she interrupted me and slammed her hands forward to me which reached the walls right behind me.... Although it didn't touch me... It still looked more painful than anything that I experienced in war...
"En... Who was that cute girl that you invited over the house for a meal?!" Rei said while looking at me demanding an answer...
However I was shocked once again in the same day as I heard something confusing...
"Huh?! Girl?." I said while being startled.
