Prologue

It was a peaceful day in Amethyst...

The kids go to school. The adults work. The soldiers are patrolling.

I was sitting on my chair then there's a sudden knock on the door.

"Come in." I said

The door opened and I saw Clyde came in.

"There's an urgent meeting on the castle. The leader said that you should come." Clyde said

I sighed. "Fine, I will be there." I wonder why we're having an urgent meeting.

Clyde nodded. "Alright, I will wait for you downstairs. I will ready our transportation." he said then went out.

I stand up and get ready to go the castle.

Me and Clyde arrived at the castle. We're about to enter the castle when we saw Khiona and Karina.

"Oh! You two will also attend the urgent meeting?" Clyde asked.

Khiona looked at him with no emotion.

"Isn't it obvious?" she said. "Let's go, Karina. We should hurry, this is urgent." Karina nodded.

Khiona and Karina walked past us. Me and Clyde followed.

"I wonder why we had an urgent meeting?" he said

"Is the problem alarming that we need to discuss about it immediately?" he added

"It could be." I answered

We finally arrived at the meeting room. It's the meeting room where only the highest officials or member of the military can discuss about the kingdom.

We went in and we saw that everyone except the leader is already here. We sat down and waited for the leader for 10 minutes.

The door was opened by the two guard and the leader walked in. All of the officials stand up to greet the leader. We all bowed down.

"Good noon, leader. May we know why we had an urgent meeting? Is there a problem?" Mr. Alaric asked. He's in-charge of Amethyst's Defense system.

The kingdom leader or somtimes called "King" sat down. He motioned his hand that indicates that we can finally sit down.

"I called everyone of you in here because we have a problem. The leader of the Kingdom of Ruby is not attending the meeting of the leaders. Then lately, there's a news that the Kingdom of Emerald lost the gemstone. The witnesses said that someone stole it and that person looks like he's from Ruby." leader said seriously.

"For now we cannot say it was really the Kingdom of Ruby that stole the Emerald. But it is a possibility. That's why from now on, we shall double the security of our kingdom. Make sure that anyone who goes here doesn't have some motive. We should also double the guards that are guarding the gemstone. We should also be alert in case that there's an attack from another kingdom." he added

Then Alex, one of the commanders, raised his hand.

"King, what if it was really the kingdom of Ruby that stole the Emerald? What will we do? What if they also stole our Amethyst?" he asked.

"If it was really them, we need to arrest them. We cannot allow them to steal the gemstones. The gemstones are the reason why every kingdom is united that's why we shall protect them." leader said.

We talked about the other plans that we need to do. After the discussion, the leader dismissed the meeting. Me and Clyde are now walking back to the entrance where our carriage is waiting for us.

"Ren, I can feel that there's something wrong." Clyde said.

"What if it really was the kingdom of Ruby? What if someone had sneaked in already?" he added.

"If that happens, we must protect not just our gemstone but also the whole kingdom of Amethyst." I said.

"Befofe we go home, let's eat first!" he exclaimed

I sighed."Fine, let's eat at Ciel." I said then continued to walk.

We've arrived at the Ciel Restaurant. It is one of the most popular restaurants here in Kingdom of Amethyst.

"Table for how many, sir?" the waitress asked

"Table for two, please." I answered

The waitress nodded then she led us upstairs. The second floor of Ciel is very nice because you can see the sunset.

"Here's you table, sir." the waitress smiled

Me and Clyde sat down. As we're about to order we someone that faked her cough.

"May we also sit here?" Karina asked

Clyde was smiling when he saw Karina.

"You can sit here beside me." he offered

Karina nodded then sat beside him.

"I was wondering if we could also talk about what the leader told us earlier." Khiona said then sat beside me.

"Let's order first." I called a waiter so we can order our food first before we talk about it. I also feel that something's gonna happen, but I don't know when.

While we're waiting for our food, we started talking about the meeting earlier.

"Do you really think it's the Kingdom of Ruby who stole the Emerald?" Karina asked with a low voice. We can't let the other people hear it. It might cause ruckus.

"If the Kingdom of Ruby really stole it, what's their plan? If they got all the gemstones it might cause chaos for the whole Cielo." Clyde said

"Whatever is happening, we stay alert. We don't know if they're planning to attack us already, especially that we're one of the most powerful kingdom." Khiona said seriously

The waiter gave us the food that we ordered. "Let's eat first!" Karina said cheerfully then she started to dig in.

After we ate we just sat for 10 minutes then we are getting ready to go home.

"We can get you home safely, why don't you two come with us?" Clyde said as he was trying to persuade Karina and Khiona to go with us.

"No no it's alright we can handle ourselves. Remember the duel before? I managed to defeat you right?" Karina laughed as if she was reminiscing of what happened before.

Clyde frowned, seems like he remembered it too. "It was because I let you defeat me!" he said

I shook my head. "Lies" I said

Karina and Khiona laughed while Clyde was glaring at me.

"Good bye for now! See you guys tomorrow!" Karina said then waved at us

Khiona was beside her just looking at us. We entered our carriage already.

We got home safely. As we're about to enter the house.

We heard a loud explosion.

"What was that?!"
