"System can I name you? It's a bit tiresome to keep calling you System and not to mention boring"

[Host may name me as long as the name isn't Bob or Joe]

The system responded in its usual robotic voice and strange comment. It had been an hour since the brawl and he had been accepted as a fellow bandit. Mom would be so proud. After drinking with the other bandits and befriending them he took a walk down to the nearby river that he found through the map to look over some of the other system features and rewards.

"How about the name BOT?"

[I am a system, not a robot]

"So? It's cute and it's not Bob or Joe"

[Fine I accept the Hosts name]

"Good, now can you explain the summoning feature please" Kane had high hopes for the shop and its summoning feature due to him getting the free random C rank follower summoning voucher.

[The shop has access to summoning followers while are more personalized than the armies/squad members that you can summon. You could summon a general or bodyguard with the follower's option. You can summon normal units with the army feature. You are able to summon followers and others for your empire by purchasing them with shop points and you can buy people/creatures from your world's history and this world as well. You may be able to summon from other worlds that you have seen through novels and other media as well when you reach a higher level. Last 2 things one is that you currently have a small number of shop points so the vouchers will be helpful and also you can unlock more troops for your empire when you travel and run into some that the system hasn't included. Second thing is that the ranks of summoning (these ranks apply to items, buildings, weapons, etc as well. The ranks are as follows:

SSS, SS, S, A, B, C, D, E, F while F is worse in quality and cheaper SSS is more expensive but the best quality.]

"Wow, that was a lot. But it will benefit in the long run so thank you" Kane thanks BOT for the advice before pulling out his random C rank follower summoning voucher. "I should probably wait to summon this guy " He then put it back and pulled out the random E-Grade Weapon Voucher. "Bot what do I do if I get a weapon I don't know how to use?"

[You can practice with it to learn the basic skill and the more you train that skill the more advanced it will get. You can also read the manual or get a trainer to teach you. The host has abilities to learn skills from manuals found in the world or bought from the system shop. Some manuals have special methods that are more unique than Basic Skill, Advanced skill, Master Skill which are the 3 skill levers for things like fighting skills not including your martial arts. The special methods could be found or bought for many system points. For example, I have a D rank dagger skill called Silver Serpent Dagger Technique that is used for its swiftness and maneuverability. It is 700 system points which are cheap in general for the system but a lot for you]

"Ok, thanks I appreciate it. Looks like basic training for now" Kane laughed. He had practiced weapons in his last life but they were all guns. He had a few knife skills but that's it. "BOT please redeem my weapons voucher.

Kane seemed shocked and amused "I was half expecting to get a sword" He held the morning star in his hand. Unlike the most common morning starts this one did not have a wood shaft. The entire weapon was steel. Usually, it would be too heavy to swing and would not help much in battle but with Kanes [Greater Strength] he could pick it up with no problems. In fact, it was light enough for him to swing it fast. It would help enemies underestimate him and think the weapon is slow then he can easily hit them with it and instantly squash their skull into oblivion. "Are there any skills for this morning star BOT?"

[There are not unless you want to spend all your points on basic skills. I suggest you practice swinging it to get used to the feel and eventually you will learn the basic skills on your own.]

"Thanks" After that Kane did as suggested and started practicing swinging. It practiced for 30 minutes until sweat covered his face and his arms felt like jello. "Looks like even with greater strength this morning star tires me out when I use it for a certain amount of time."

[Correct but when you get basic skill not only will you have skill with the weapon but you should be able to double your time with the weapon.]

Kane took off his cloak and the new worn fur armor that the bandits had given him so that he can clean off in the river. It was an F-grade but at least it covered his important parts and could be counted as clothes. Kane would have bought something better from the store but he currently wanted to save points. Plus the armor went well with his cloak and Kane liked wearing cloaks a lot. It gave him a mysterious feeling. He would probably end up buying a better one when he got the chance. Maybe he would even buy a mask to go with it. How cool would that be?

After cleaning himself he dressed up and headed back to the bandit village. The guards recognized him and hollered at him. They had seen his fight if you could call it that and enjoyed it. They haven't got as much action as they would have liked these days as the only kingdom that was nearby would only send people through this forest as the last option. The beast tribes have also been getting stronger so it was hard to rob them as well. Kane waved to them before heading to his bunk to get some sleep. It had been a pretty successful first day and he was excited for more to come.
