Part-2 chapter 5.

A painful scream came out of Maricella's mouth. It's like her body and soul is splitting apart.

Maricella knows what it is. This unbeatable pain is the result of forcefully unbinding her to her one real mate.

Tears start to stream down her cheeks, feeling helpless that she can't do anything to stop this from happening.

She knows nobody can't help her. Even though they try, her family and friends are no match for him.

His power is beyond compared even the Queen, Dalton's mother can't be in his level of mobility and prowess to immobilized everyone in the cathedral.

Maricella isn't mad at them at all. She knows far too well that her family and friends will risk their lives to help her, but it's much better if they wouldn't make any drastic move. Maricella will never forgive herself if one of her loved once sacrifice their lives to save her.

Maricella could feel the strangers fang tearing her skin. His bite went too deep that she shudders in pain.

He was not only marking her as his but his feeding also on her, His sipping too much of her blood that she could feel her life starting to fade away.

Slowly Maricella feel her eyelid went too heavy to stay awake.

'Too tired.' She murmured in her unstable state.

Maricella decided to closed her eyes happily, welcoming her death.

In Maricella's mind, there is no way she would live after this marking.

Her life, her love, and her soul belongs only to one demon prince, and that's Dalton.

Whether in this lifetime or too another, her heart will only beat for him.

But when Maricella, though she's on the verge of death, there's something that pulls her back to life.

The first thing that Maricella did is to scream in horror after waking up. She was unstable and in hysterical mode. It was then Maricella felt an arm wrapped around her hugging her shoulders.

Then she heard a soft female voice, whispering kind words to make her relaxed.

There's a hand rubbing her back gently back and forth that helps ease her tense body.

Maricella felt her once rigid and shivering body slowly relaxed.

When Maricella's brains start to function again, it was then that she saw who's the one comforting her. She was surprised to see Martha.

Maricella felt depressed again because in her confused mind, she thought it was Dalton, and everything that happens is just another lousy dream, but seeing Martha next to her only reminds Maricella that her nightmares are real.

When Maricella pulled out of their hug. She notices that she's in a different room.

Confused where she is, Maricella looked up to Martha's to meet her gaze.

Maricella was surprised to see that Martha seems weak and pale.

Martha looked like she haven't got a good sleep for a few days.

Her eyes have dark rims around it, and she looks so skinny.

"I'm so happy you wake up already, please forgive me, I didn't foreseen any of this..from before " Martha look teary with a solemn voice. Maricella felt instantly guilty for judging her back in the cathedral.

"So, everything did happen?

All those tragic scene from the cathedral was real and not just a dream?" Maricella's tears were overflowing while confirming everything from Martha.

" So that means that damn stranger bit me and claimed me as his?! But then I am no longer bonded to my one real mate Dalton?"

Maricella asked like she's slowly losing sanity.

She knows the answer, but she couldn't grasp the truth.

She can't accept this!

Maricella felt worst like her world shattered into pieces when she saw Martha nod her head An informal way to say Yes, it did happen."

Maricella felt like dying inside. Why is this happening to her?! What has she done to deserve this kind of faith?!

Knowing Maricella isn't bonded to Dalton made her feel like her heart had stopped from beating.

She couldn't live anymore, knowing she will never feel those warm bond between Dalton and her.

"No! isn't happening!" she screamed, grabbing Martha's skinny arms.

"Tell me, Martha.

This isn't real, right?!

Please wake me up! I beg of you?! I can't live anymore if this is true," Martha remain quiet and said nothing to her.

Instead Martha hug her.

A way of consoling her and at the same time not deny that everything is real.

Maricella cried so much until there's no more tears coming out of her eyes.

Her tears did stop, but Maricella's heart mourning the loss of her bond to her husband.

Then Maricella's out of the blue remembered her unborn child. She quickly held her stomach feeling the baby's heartbeat.

It's still alive!

It made Maricella cheer up a bit. She's glad that nothing is wrong with her child. Now she has to force herself to be strong for the sake of her baby. That damn stranger may have marked her body but not her heart.

It will always belong to her one true love, and that's Dalton.

It's like she finally returned to reality. Maricella's body is filled with adrenaline.

"Martha, please tell me what's happening? Why does he need me? Why did he bite me and suck my blood? I'm just like him, and vampires to vampires' blood cannot be consumed.

We need human blood to feed?

I don't understand how on earth he can do it! How can he still be alive?! Everything that is happening in my life now doesn't ring a bell in my head at all?! Please help me understand everything?!"

Maricella is begging to Martha, but instead of answering her, Martha gently pushed her to lay down and sleep, but that wasn't the answer Maricella wanted to hear.

Anger filled her heart, and Maricella quickly snap Martha's hand, gripping it, but she screamed in pain that made her shock.

Maricella only grip her hand, but and it wasn't that's strong enough to make Martha scream.

Maricella instantly releases Martha's hand, but she was stunned to see that she broke Martha's hand that caused her to scream in agony.

"Ohh my gosh?! I'm so sorry!

How did I do that?!" Maricella asked very much, confused about what's happening to her.

She tried to touch Martha, but she quickly move away.

"Please..stay." Martha's eyes are filled with fear. Maricella felt guilty about it, but she can't understand everything if no one will make her know her real situation.

"Just don't do anything," Martha continued talking while keeping a safe distance between them.

"Maricella listen to me the moment Lord Theo, marked you, he somehow channel some of his power to you.

That only means you become ten times stronger than a regular vampire.

So you have to try to be more careful of what you do," Martha explained to her.

"What?! Ohh gosh I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you Martha, please help me. I'm so confused about everything" She pleaded to her, not wanting to lose the only person who can explain everything to her.

"I know, I promised I would explain everything that I've learned and see after they took us.

But please calm down and don't try to do anything, ok?!"Martha wanted assurance of her safety that have Maricella a lousy feeling towards herself.

Nodding her head at Maricella promised not to touch her or do anything drastically to harm Martha.

Maricella felt even scared of what she's capable of doing.

All she knows is that she felt different the moment she wakes up.

Martha walk back, and she seated to the chair next to the bed where Maricella's was sitting in..
