Time skip and Awakening

Disclaimer: everything but the plot does not belong to me

It had been a year since the man, whom had not given the old man his name even now. Having know him for an entire year.

Link had awakened on the eve of the new year and only three days in, he had discovered the existence of the eccentric man in armour and had discovered the old man's true identity as the king. More impressively he got all of the spirit orbs in that time without sleeping at once.

He had been given the Glider by the now identified ghost of the king. And he jumped from the walls into the rest of hyrule. Link was lost in thought. One time, when he was trying to clear out a bokoblin camp, He was almost stuck from behind if not for an arrow Impaling the beast to a tree.

Little did the hero know, a moblin watched as he landed in front of it, the hero unaware of it, deep in thought. It raised it's club high into the air with it's slender arms prepared to strike down the hero.

Suddenly a high pitched whistling sound was heard, link not noticing or thinking it was simply the wind ignored it. *THUSHED* A loud sound mixed between something slicing through an object and a thud resounded, echoing through the forest. Link quickly turned around to find a relatively long sword impaling the beast, it's club split in two.

It was two handed, the blade was separated by a pair of spikes near the bottom, the part directly attached to the hill had a bit of leather wrapped around it, protecting the users hand from the sharp blade. The rest of the blade was of a flamboyant style (has the constant curvature with the resemblance of a Flame, giving off a similar effect of Serration but with a much more elegant effect.)

He noticed a shadow focusing, seemingly getting closer every second. looking up, he sees a silhouette, though unrecognizable at the moment, he knew it was of probably of hylianoid (probably their version of the term humanoid)

After landing with but a Clink of metal and a bit of kicked up dust and dirt, the landing of the now identified knight was almost unnoticeable to any not already aware. Getting up the knight ripped his sword out of the bokoblin, causing the head to be ripped off. He took a knife and began harvesting valuable parts of the being, even taking the bones. As he did so, he began to speak.

"The hero should be more Aware of his surroundings, it might just save his life." A snarky remark, but one Rich with wisdom and an abundance of Experience "Never know when you'll be stuck on a bridge, sandwiched between a fire breathing dragon and a small squad of enemies not afraid to be burnt!"

Link did not know what to say, it was all too sudden. "Well? Are you gonna say something? Is the hero once again mute?!" the man exclaimed, beginning to get impatient at the hero.

"N-no, just surprised… who are you?" Link asked, not letting his guard down

"Me? You can say I am… a benefactor" he bulled out the somehow still beating heart and stored it in his bag, and continued to harvest the corpse. "You do have that slate, right? The one from the shrine where you woke up?"

"Um… yeah? Why?" Link questioned, his guard lowered just barely, as his mysterious benefactor was relaxed and had no signs of hostility towards him.

"I'm sure you've found the map function. Why not go on ahead to kakeriko village or find a few towers to climb?"

"What about you?"

"I'll catchup when I'm done. After all, I have to clear the way for you to reach the epicentre when the time is right. I'll be there when I'm needed most. Do not worry." He finished gutting the creature and his armour changed into one of unrecognizable design though, it would later faintly remind him of the Shieka. His sword changed to the Uchikatana. "Anyways, I'm going to go do a fight scene."

He walked off his destination unknown to the Amnesiac Link.
