19 Chapter 19- Second Half (Chelsea)...

The locker room was normal, everyone was a bit disgruntled by the fact that Chelsea had managed to pull one back, but the atmosphere was certainly still excited and passionate, the game was still in our favor so what was there to worry about?

Bruno for some reason wouldn't speak...

So, I briefed the team instead alongside, and as we began I couldn't help but notice that Bruno had a sad look in his eyes, I turned to look at Casi he'd seen it too. I shrugged at him before beginning the brief...

"Alright boys you heard the gaffer, we have to hit em with summat they haven't expected, we need to hit em where it hurts, we're one up right now and we can be four up, five up, six up if we put our minds to it, we are capable of so much, we will win the Premier League, it's our right, I see our colors on that trophy already, so get out there and show them who's boss!"

We cheered and ran out through the tunnel and onto the pitch, I swung my arms up and down, hyping up the crowd, and earning roars of approval, even through all this Bruno was quiet and reserved.

10 mins later...

I ran up to the midfield, especially to Bruno and Casi came running to him too, we signaled for a pause and talked to him...

"Right, Brunes, Fess up, what's wrong? Spill the tea man!"

"Yeah bro wassup," chimed Casi.

"It's hard to put your heart in when you know you're leaving..." mumbled Bruno.

"What did you say? No, Brunes, not you, you're our captain!"

"Brunes what the fuck? What about winning the league?!" shouted Casi, this wasn't the place for this but we needed Bruno level-headed.

<*Author: In this world, there are three transfers*>

-> Period Transfers - You can sign a player for a certain period from a certain period, like reserving a book. A longer version of the loan.

-> Immediate Transfers, these are expensive but they will bring the player of your choice to your club upon transaction, you don't have to wait for the window to open.

-> And of course normal transfers like in the transfer window.

I looked at Bruno in despair, "Is it immediate Brunes?"

"Yeah, Adri I leave tomorrow."

"Where are you going?" asked Casi.

"Bayern Munchen."

The name hung in the air and we looked at Bruno once more, and looked at Ten Hag, before rolling my hands to ask for a sub for Bruno, "Brunes, get out of here before we get emotional and tear up your contract, go play for Bayern, one day we'll come and beat your old ass."

"I know you will Adri," he said as he ran off past Ten Hag and out of the theatre of dreams, Eriksen trudged onto the pitch and was influential from the start, his vision was impeccable and he made sure the ball was being played where it should.

With fifteen minutes left of the second half, we realize this half has been goalless. The only good thing about Bruno's absence was the funds, it was an immediate transfer so we received £50 million more than his transfer value, so in total £200 million.

At least this meant I could stay at United, if that was the choice I would make, anyway, I had to focus on the game, and let those thoughts leave my head. I looked up at the scoreboard:

<Man Utd-2:1-Chelsea>

With five minutes left on the clock, Eriksen intercepted Mudryk's pass and back-heeled it to Casi, who in turn, knocked the ball to Dalot who lobbed the ball to Garnacho. Seeing the lob, Garnacho moved into space and began his beeline for the flank, he almost reached the corner flag when he twisted suddenly, the outside of his boot smashing the ball into life, an arc, it curved over the line of the penalty box and found me...

I ran forward jumping in the air...

The stadium erupted in roars as the crowd stood up in surprise, my vision was so sharp, I imagined the ball flying into the top bins as if I had future sight, I fell back down, my head first then my back, I dropped my leg and brought it back up, smashing into the ball, a bicycle kick...

Smash! My feet met the ball...

WOOOOSSSSHHHHH! BANG!

The ball cascaded into the net and I fell to the floor, I braved the pain of the freefall ad ran to the corner flag to celebrate, sliding on my knees, and putting my finger to my ears, it was the best goal I've ever scored in my short career so far. And there's so much more to come...

As the whistle blew, the high faded and thoughts came back, including Bruno's departure, I sobbed as I hugged Casemiro and we walked back to the locker room, on the way I was stopped by Ten Hag...

"Are you ready?"

<PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, LEAVE A REVIEW!"< p>
