Bonus Chapter: Back at the Capital Elder Delpha (Harridan's Backstory)

The elder was foaming in his mouth when the other people found him. His jaws were moving non-stop trying to speak or something.

"The Head Astrologer Hensing Hollard has fallen ill it seems. Some great astrologer! he couldn't even predict his own ill fortune, hahaha!"

"Stop speaking ill of your elders, Windsor. The Fenson Sept does not tolerate immoral behaviour."

"As if you're the one to talk. I'm giving him plenty of respect ,Elder Brother Fangert . You used to call him old fart, remember. Oh! I forgot the crown on your head weighs so much that you have start to become dumb isn't that it, Mr.Crown Prince."

"There there little brother do you also think that I was wrongly chosen to be the King? Do you Brother Windsor?"

"Hail Fangert! I am all up for you to be king Brother, unlike that Ingrate Harridan."

"Has that wretch of a brother been taken care of?"

"He is being taken care of as we speak"

There were two figures energetically talking about the current state of affairs. They were the Crown prince Fangert Fenson and the second prince Windsor Fenson.

They were against Harridan and the fainted astrologer had foretold a situation that Harridan will not be the king but his son will and that son will be the next king and the current crown prince will stay the crown prince till he dies.

This they ignored because Harridan was not able to form a Benediction Manifest despite being over eighteen years old and then when he was twenty Fangert was named Crown prince on the Elder Delpha's founding day. It was on that day that the two elder brothers had humiliated him to the point he tried to kill himself when suddenly at the twilight zone when he was between life and death The Lord Biophora himself blessed Harridan and revealed it was he who had blessed him since birth.

Then Harridan was able to make a Benediction Manifest instantly. The size of which was unprecedented which if he had done a bit earlier he would have been the crown prince.

Then and only then they took the warning of Hensing Hollard seriously. It was as they said people don't know their death until their coffin is laid in front of them.

They had a ploy in store and made it look like that Harridan was after the throne himself. Rather than trying to deny it Harridan madly said that he wants the throne in front of the whole court.

That made all the difference.

Then there came a war with their neighbouring country Corinthia which put them at a very disadvantageous position. Harridan went in disguising him as an ordinary combatant and won the war single-handedly. But after the war something in him changed.

He fraternized with the enemy and even hired a son with one of the Corinthian women. But he had commited a minior mistake he killed a general who was plundering and looting Corinthian cities.

That gave Fangert all the reason he wanted.

He dispatched huge amount of resources and men to kill Harridan. There was a lot of consequences that followed. One such consequence was particularly costly for Harridan. A Heavy consequences that killed the mother of his child and he knew full well the reasons and causes.

That's what left Harridan's situation surroundings and environment in a complete mess.

But then a knock was heard on the door of the room that resonated in the silent room.

"Who is it? being insolent at this untimely hour?" complained an annoyed Windsor.

"Sir, It's the emperor ,Sire. He requests your presence in the royal court this instant. A discussion has been going on out of hand and the Emperor has asked of you to resolve the issues. Right now he request your immediate presence,Sire."

"Go tell the emperor that the Crown prince is here with prince Windsor" spoke Fangert. They were talking in Windsor's quarters.

"Sire the summons is not for prince Windsor it is for you, My lord. The emperor requests your eminent presence in the royal court discussions straigtaway."

"The old man seems to get impatient at times" whispered Fangert before leaving the room.

"This guy! since when did he become so full of himself." muttered Windsor before laying down on his bed and started to think how Harridan was a much better option than his elder brother.
