1 Cracked In Sky

-Please don't kill me, I did nothing wrong to you.

A man begs for his life to spreading, to the man who is about to kill him.

- Ah, I know that but sorry bro I have to survive too... Please die hahaha.

The man laughed at the man who was begging for his life.

The man raised his dagger and slashed down at the other man.

-No please don't do it-

He could not finish what he wanted to say.

The dagger was so sharp that his head served from his neck.

Blood spread everywhere like a fountain. His head rolls in the air spreading the blood everywhere in that small room

-Thud!

The head stops in front of a boy no older than 19.

That boy was me.

I look at the lifeless head of a man who begged for his life to spread but he got killed instead.

-Hahahahaha Finally I can survive this hell.

The man laughed as he won a big lottery ticket.

My mind was in turmoil, I looked at my surroundings and saw that everyone trying to kill each other to survive.

-I'm sorry but I have to do this.

-Please die, just die already.

-If you die I will give you cash.

-You shitty boss, every time you order me around like I'm some kind of slave. Now die by this Slave hand.

Everything went in chaos.

Blood was flowing in the ground as a river.

Ding!

A strange sound is in front of me and a blue screen appears in front of me.

[ You have not to kill anything.]

Ding!

[ You have less than 1 minute time. Kill someone or you will die. ]

Ding!

[ Countdown:- 59, 58, 57 56 seconds left.]

How could everything change like this? It all started from today's weird morning news I saw on TV.

Let's go in flashback for a bit.

****

[ Wake up you chutiya, Wake up you chutiya.]

The sharp blare of my alarm forced its way into my consciousness. My right hand fumbled around my bed, trying to locate where I'd tossed my phone the night before in a rather futile attempt to shut off the incessant noise. After a few more blind attempts, I gave up and opened my eyes, looking around until I saw the phone perched on my bedside table. I reached over and quickly cut off the alarm.

Yawning, I rubbed the sleep from my eyes, even as my mind slowly started to adjust to wakefulness. Taking a glance out the window revealed that it was quite early. I hated mornings. I would usually sleep until the very last second before rolling out of bed and rushing to get prepared for the Day. So why did I set such an early alarm today then?

Yesterday was the semifinal of our cricket match and somehow we won. After that, I'd spent the entirety of the break lazing around with my phone and catching up on all the manga and light novels that I'd fallen behind.

"Avi wake up it's already morning."

My mother's voice came from downstairs.

"Coming," I said to her, as I stared up at the ceiling, blinking away the sleep from my eyes. Right, it was time to get moving.

"Today is the final match," I said as I got up from my bed and started to freshen up.

After 10 minutes, I came downstairs. I see my father eating breakfast and watching the news.

Mom was in the kitchen preparing my breakfast.

I sat at the dining table opposite my dad.

"Morning Dad."

"Morning son," he replied to me and went back to watching the news. My dad is a fairly decent man, he is a taxi driver and of course, we have our car and he turned that car into a taxi.

My mom is just a normal housewife and I'm only their son.

"Here Avi, your breakfast." my mom handed me my breakfast, it was a fairly decent breakfast just Two omelettes and bread with milk.

We don't have much money but we are a fairly decent family.

"What kind of news is this? It's completely absurd." Dad frowned as he watched the news.

Seeing his expression I turned towards the TV.

[At around 3 A.M. Yesterday, a smoothing unexpected happened. We don't if it's true or not but there was a crack in the sky and from that crack one big eye could be seen.]

A news anchor was reporting on something.

[...According to the investigation, led By Scientists they had said that it could be the end of the Earth. Scientists also don't have much evidence because that crack was there for merely Five minutes.]

What the that sound like a fantasy novel I'll always read. But it could not be true at all.

"It's Fake don't believe it," Dad said as he got up from the table and headed toward the front door, it was time for him to go to his job.

Mom also follow him, to see him off to work.

"Have a good day honey at work," she said and kissed him, well he also replied to her kiss.

After like minute or Two they let go of each other.

"I will." He said to Mom.

-Click

With that Dad went to the house.

'It's always weird to see them acting like this, did they not know that they have a full-grown son right here.'

Mom came back to the table to finish her breakfast.

Seeing her not even bother by that their son sees them kissing each other.

I could not help but ask her question.

"Mom, do you have to do this every morning?"

She stopped eating and glanced at me, there was a smirk on her face.

'Ah, I know that smirk. She is going to tease me now.'

"What do you mean Avi?"

Now I'm feeling embarrassed by continuing this.

"Tsk, forgot it."

"Hahaha, Avi you are so easy to tease." Mom laughed at my expression.

"Yeah, Yeah, I know that. So please stop it will you?"

After that, I finished my breakfast in minutes.

"Mom I'm going, today is a tournament final so I have to go early," I said to her as I walked to the door.

"Have a great much Avi, I hope you win."

-Click.

"Thanks, Mom, bye.

With that, I was out of my home.

It's still early in the morning so not many people are out on the road.

Suddenly I looked into the sky, And I saw something written in the sky.

I can see something written there.

"Merging 80% is completed," I muttered my myself as I read those words. I blink for a moment and it was gone.

I looked up at the sky again, but only a few birds fluttering away into the sky.

"I'm serious... I did see those words in the sky" or maybe it was illusion itself?

I easily agreed. It was true that these days I was unstable and nervous because cricket final. Nonetheless, I looked at the sky several times as if I felt uncomfortable.
