4 The Search

(POV: Kaisel)

'Todays the day I complete this quest I'm strong enough to do it. I just need to get the items and then upgrade my Mana Core Stage which shouldn't be hard enough.' I thought as I packed up ready to leave.

(POV: 3rd Person)

"Kaisel are you sure that you'll be OK." Elena worried.

"Don't worry Mom I'll be OK." Kaisel assured.

"Y- You called me Mom." Elena gasped as a tear dropped her face before she ducked down hugging Kaisel.

"I guess I did but you're the only person who's taken care of me since I showed up on this doorstep, so you basically are my Mom." Kaisel said as he became teary eyed.

"Sniff" "Sniff"

"Then I guess you're my son." Elena would say tears falling from her face.

"I- I guess I should start going then." Kaisel remembered.

"Yes, I suppose you should but please . . . please promise me you won't get hurt." Elena would continue to worry.

"I promise . . ." Kaisel made that promise not knowing full well whether he would be able to keep it.

And as he departed ready to complete his quest, he would make his journey to a place he remembered from TBATE . . . the Elshire Forests the journey would be a long trek but with his Dash Skill, he would finally make it within a day seeing an abundance of mana beasts and he would get to work.

Meeting his first target . . . some kind of Bear Mana Beasts and as soon as the beast made eye contact with him . . . the battle was on. They traded blow for blow it seemed in just Brute Strength this bear matched him.

"ᴎwob mɘHT ɘkiᴙTꙄ gᴎiᴎTHgi⅃ ꟻo Tlod" Kaisel uttered as Lightning would rocket down striking the Mana Beast incinerating it.

"Hm well that's one more to my collection." Kaisel chuckled.

Until as sound from afar caught my attention.

"Oh shit." Kaisel would remark as he jumped up into the trees hiding.

"KYA." A noticeably female voice would yell.

"SHUT HER UP." A man would say in a rather angry tone.

"SMACK"

"Hey, Boss. Elf girls go for a lot don't they." A different voice would say.

"She's a child too so a virgin at that! She'll definitely fetch us a lot."

(POV: Kaisel)

'Wait that sounds familiar . . . WAIT THE SLAVE TRADERS, that means Arthur is here.'

From a distance I could see what looked like Arthur killing off one of them as he would jump onto the shoulders of another before killing him on the spot, until he would be spotted and even though I knew Arthur could do it I still wanted to jump in but not wanting to do anything in the moment I froze.

And after a couple minutes they would be killed, and Arthur would save Tessia and I would silently trail along as they made their way to the Elenoir.

Hours passed and as Tessia and Arthur decided to rest, I would head out collecting the final Beast Core I needed getting a little carried away I levelled up and got way more Cores than I originally needed.

And soon enough they entered the Elven Kingdom and even without entering I observed from afar with my Sense Stat.

But I soon grew bored, and I decided to enter the Kingdom seeing an abundance of Shops and Stalls and walking into one I decided to do some trading wearing a hood I made of animal fur to disguise myself.

"Hey kid you ain't allowed in here unless you got som'in to sell." The owner would snicker laughing in my face.

"Who said I didn't have anything." I replied as I pulled out a bag of Beast Cores before handing them to him.

"W- Where did you get these; you know what don't answer that I'll give you fifty silvers for em." The man chuckled.

"Fifty silvers, how low do you have to be to scam a kid now give me something reasonable before I show you how I got these cores." I threatened glaring at him with my shadowed eyes.

"Please what's a kid going to d-"

Before he could even finish his sentence, I appeared behind him a blade pointed to his back.

"H- How the fuck did you do that." The man gulped terrified.

"So how much you gonna give me for these huh." I said ignoring his question.

"Fine then 21 Gold 3 for each of them, take it or leave it." The man sighed.

"Good now that's what I thought."

We completed our deal as I walked around the town finding a place to eat, until I somehow stumbled across Arthur again seeing him during his fight with Virion it was way better seeing the fight in person it was crazy but as I tried to sneak away a hand grabbed my hood pulling it off.

"What are you doing on the castle grounds kid . . . wait another human, Arthur do you know this kid he looks around your age?" Virion would question.

"N- No sir I've never met him before." Arthur would reply confused.

"Hm then how did you get here kid.? Virion would ask.

"I walked sir and my name's Kaisel." I replied.

"Walked . . . from the Human Kingdom how did you manage that?" Virion would pry now confused.

"I used my Mana to make the walk quicker." I answered once again.

"So, another young mage huh, when did you awaken?" Virion continued to pry.

"When I was one-years-old sir." I sighed.

"ONE YEARS OLD. T- That's the earliest I've ever heard w- what Magic Division are you, what Mana Core Stage are you?" Virion blurted out confused.

'One years old t-that's even earlier than me . . . this guy can't be normal.' Arthur pondered

"To answer you first question." I thought about what I should say until I saw an opportunity if Arthur grew that strong in that short of a time how far could I progress with my Quick Mastery.

"I'm a Conjurer and a Quadra Elemental as well as 2 Deviant abilities Gravity and Ice and to answer your second question I am a Light Red Stage." I answered truthfully.

"Q- Quadra Elemental, T- Two D- Deviant abilities a- and already a L- Light R- Red Stage at your age." Virion stuttered absolutely breath taken.

"I have decided to train the three of you for the next three years." Virion would remark.

"But sir my family I need to make sure that they're ok." Arthur would disapprove.

"Yes, sir and I need to go back to the Orphanage, my caretaker doesn't know that I'll be staying." I said agreeing with Arthur.

"Sigh. Don't worry I know someone who can help with that."

(A/N: So, they go to meet Elder Rinia and talk to their families I'm just going to skip that part.)

(POV: Arthur)

'So, I'm training in Elenoir now Me, Tessia and that kid. There is no way that he's normal he awakened at 1 I'll have to investigate him to see if he pulls anything but for now, I'll just focus on training.'

(POV: Virion)

"I have two prodigies on my hand this will be a tough three years, but it will be worth it." I muttered.

"Now then Arthur, Kaisel I want two test both of your physical capabilities so let's begin." I exclaimed to the both of them.

Arthur would then continue to pull out his sword ready to fight but I noticed that Kaisel was only using his fists.

"Aren't you going to use a weapon Kai." Arthur would ask.

"Oh, um sure if you want me to, I'm not that good though." I lied.

"BEGIN." I shouted.

Arthur would swing towards Kaisel but somehow Kaisel would slide underneath it, using the blunt side of his blade to knock over Arthur and pinning him down putting him in an inescapable position.

"I surrender." Arthur would sigh. "You said you weren't any good, what the hell was that trick."

"Good job Kaisel that was a good display of skill." I congratulated.

"Now the real training begins.
