1 Prologue

Location: Somewhere at the south of the Entris Federation, in the only continent of Tortus

Inside a mansion, a red-haired woman and several of her companions were apprehended with arms tied to the back and pushed forwards by well-dressed men.

They all were considered nobles, if not for their positions as guards around the mansion, nobles don't really do that anyways.

"Hey, hey! Watch it, my arms and legs are being hurt with all that you know?" The woman complained with a grumble.

In response, the said person lessened the force user to push her, allowing the woman to relax.

Where were they going? If possible they were being brought to who their target is.

Hopefully, otherwise whatever happens might be bad for them all.

Soon, they were brought before a door guarded by a muscular man.

That guard, and the ones who brought the group to this place communicated using gestures they can't understand, before the muscular guard stared at them.

"You're lucky the boss allowed you to live even with your group's transgressions against us, for now." He said with a stoic face filled with some contempt. "Get inside, he's waiting for only you, Miss Intruder."

The redhead stepped forward, before realizing that the rope that bound her had been cut apart, freeing her numb arms.

"Phew! This is better than I'd expect, I've got to give some thanks to my old pal when I meet him after a very long while, kufufu~" The woman said excitedly, and with a smile she confidently walked inside the room.

The room she entered was decently large, with a large balcony right behind a desk where a certain man viewed the outside.

The floor had a long crimson carpet that had golden markings leading to where she should go, and when she observed the walls, she noticed that it was painted dirty white, while being as elegant as it could.

Paintings, trophies, even real artifacts were displayed on the walls, not even many rich nobles could show something that had been managed with care.

When she reached the desk, she sat down and stared at the man sitting behind the desk.

"You've been busy, hare." He said, turning his chair around to face her. "I never thought we'd meet again after 3 years. How's your little group going?"

Instead of feeling intimidated, the woman was annoyed.

"It's Belta, Belta Lievre! Have you forgotten my real name, Charles?" She said, shaking her head. "I still remember that time when we first met 4 years ago, and the time when you saved me at those cliffs like a knight in shining armor, you still remember?"

The man, Charles, really wanted to sigh, but he doesn't have the need to.

"First of all, I don't remember asking for your name so I called you by that name, second of all, you and your group interrupted our operation when we first met, third, I was there by chance to test my powers." He explained, taking a sip on a warm cup of tea.

"Plus, now that you've been captured, I could choose to kill you and your comrades... But that would do absolutely nothing. So I want to make a deal with you."

That deal was about Belta disclosing some information about their group for him in exchange that they won't interfere with the Liberators' tasks and they will be released on some slums scot-free.

Belta responded by asking him if he could also disclose some information about himself and "The Brotherhood".

And he responded with a simple smirk.

"Well, I suppose that will be arranged soon."

The two exchanged information, keeping it a secret between the two of them before eventually Belta left, even if they felt like they will meet again

To Belta, it felt like heartfelt talk about the two of them, but to Charles, it was Tuesday. He wasn't that interested in her.

He's dealt with so many people that he couldn't help adapting to it through a calm personality.

Belta was just a mutual friend who he never met for a while since she had been quite annoying when they did meet.

Honestly, being reborn as the child of a criminal helped in making him develop a more mature personality by being stoic and used to doing certain things like torture and murder.

It was safe to say that he didn't just take over his father's criminal organization, he also took over several other criminal organizations hiding around the entire Entris Federation and formed "The Brotherhood" one decade earlier.

And he did have boons of his own,

In short, he took over 30 percent of the entire federation with effort needed months after his father's death. This federation being the largest trading hub in the entire Tortus.

And that was just 3 and a half years ago.

Now, he controls around 65 percent of Entris, both in the shadows and in the light. Wonderful as that is, he is still careful about the Holy Church, since he lets them control the rest.

If he controls even more of his companies, they will investigate even further.

Not that he was worried, he was a bit more cautious when dealing with them. Unless....

In the light and darkness, he is known as "The Godfather" of the brotherhood, with barely anybody knowing who he really is. But his brotherhood?

Rumors have spread about them from the Dukedom of Uldia in the east, Elbard Theocracy in the North, Grandort Empire in the South, and Kingdom of Velka in the west.

There were exceptions in his organization, such as human/demi-human/demon race trafficking, mass murder, and etcetera, though he is fine with drug trafficking, even if it is regulated.

He did consider stopping the criminal acts, but that was debatable. Most of the heists and larcenies made by his organization was actually made by him.

Due to this, people are not surprised that beastmen and demons are the prime suspects that are discovered to be a part of the brotherhood.

One the daytime, his organization acts as bodyguards to his company, and enforcers of law that were the same as the Holy Church's own.

The Church allowed them to do what they want because it was for the good of humanity.

Well, he has his own goals.

One is to make his company, Mammon Industries Corporation, into a completely trusted brand not just on this Federation, but also on other nations like in the Theocracy, and everywhere in the world.

This was just the beginning.

Two, establishing The Brotherhood as a legendary organization with both fame and infamy, even if the brotherhood is going to be exposed in the later times.

Three, defeat the final boss, Ehit.

That being that is close to a god is incredibly dangerous, especially his apostles. He brought chaos to this world, so much chaos that everyone was just pitiful.

Charles wanted order in this corrupt world, to balance that chaos that ran rampant all around the world.

The Holy Church is also considered another threat (either big or small), yet for now, that isn't his case.

They haven't visited him, and when they did, they always taxed him or did some church stuff like blessing his now-owned mansion and paintings and even artifacts.

Right now, that's not his problem. The Liberators are not even his problem because they aren't even that large at this point and he and his organizations aren't being tangled with their adventures yet.

Leaning his body forwards, he took a large sip of his tea, pondering what to do right now.....

"I've decided." A smirk arose from his mouth.

"I'll have my men investigate the south, with me. I have something to do there."

He stood from his chair, and walked to a nearby cabinet, opening it to reveal light clothing, and several, similar canes were displayed on the side.

For a moment, he remembered something about Belta Lievre.

'Next time we meet, I might really kick her ass if she becomes as annoying as the golem Miledi.'

Biography:

=> A man from another world, reborn with his memories intact, and a wish to spare (He wished to obtain Denial of Nothingness), he is more mature than he looks.

Before he realized that he was in the past of an infamous anime, he didn't really know what anime world he was in.

Reborn as the one of the children of the criminal lord and Duke, Smith von Mammon, he lived quite a tough life, being forced to do what he hated.

Due to this, he adapted a calm yet playful temperament, and soon gained pleasure from the motion of thievery.

He hated that man, this hatred rising to a boiling point by his father selling out his sisters, and decided to plan Smith death from the hands of crazed clients, and he was successful.

Ever since then, he decided to find his sisters.

Only to find out they've been abused so much by their "owner" that when he rescued them, it was too late.

"Live for yourself, brother. If you want to, bring order to this world..." His younger sister told him, before succumbing to her injuries.

"Promise us to live as free as you'd like and be the best, okay?" His older sister muttered on his ear, succumbing to the same fate as her younger sister.

Determined to bring order, as promised, he declared a secret war against the many nobles in the Federation, before eventually winning against them and turning them into his servants through a Geass contract.

Soon, he created a shadow organization from the raided criminal bases in the Federation, made mostly from incredibly powerful beastmen that were freed and trained again, or humans that had been enslaved.

Now, his story truly begins....

Personality:

=> He is someone who does whatever he wants, and he stands firm about this belief.

The love of money grew further from his past life, but not hindering him enough to bring him away from the goals he wanted.

His heists? Oh, he loved the feeling of thrill, having to fight and take away something for his own reasons gives him some excitement.

Order, is one of the things he wanted to bring to this world, and he is determined to bringing it, no matter what.

He also hated apostles not just because they're empty shells of people blindly devoted to Ehit, but also because of his dislike on people who don't have anything to do with their lives other than one thinks.

He simply thinks of them as just dolls with no purpose.

Being a man of his word, he never betrays promises, unless he knows something bad will happen if he doesn't.

Mission:

• "I shall bring order to this chaotic world."

Hobbies: He loves collecting treasury other than creating one using Denial of Nothingness.
