38 Filming [Autumn's Concerto] (4)

When Jiang Cheng heard the name "Jin Sha", his first reaction wasn't joy, but shock.

In his world, Jin Sha had been originally one of a group of beautiful hostesses picked up by Shanghai TV Station. She served as a host for the show [Brilliant Galaxy] on the Shanghai Science Channel. She had gained the main part of her fame from her role as Lan Feilin in [Sky].

In 2003, she appeared in the music video [Go Forward] by the Singapore singer Adu for HuaXiang Entertainment, during which she was appreciated by Yuan Datong, President of HuaXiang Entertainment, and then entered the music scene.

Becoming the first singer to reach success under the new leadership after its previous CEO Zhang Xiaohua had stepped down and taken up a place on the board instead as Chairman, she was reinvented as marketed under her stage name Kym. The HuaXiang music producers felt that her voice was sweet and pure, so she was sent to HuaXiang Entertainment Singapore for idol training before her debut.

On April 23, 2005, her first solo album [Air] was released, and the sales easily exceeded 200,000 copies within six months, making her the hot new rookie. After that, she went from strength to strength, and she was hailed as [The Queen of Sugar Pop].

But Cai Yinong was now telling him that Jin Sha had just been signed by HuaXiang Entertainment, this was two years ahead of the time shown by the data in Jiang Cheng's memory!

"History's been changed!" Jiang Cheng couldn't help but say to himself in his heart.

This was probably the "butterfly effect" brought on by his changes. Changing his own future had also indirectly changed everything around him. Many people would be affected by it, and history would slowly deviate from its original track.

For now Jiang Cheng could still accumulate some capital for himself with his foresight, but once history had significantly deviated from his original memories, a major part of his advantage would be lost, and he would be on the same starting line as everyone else at that time.

But Jiang Cheng didn't let this get him down, as the saying goes: One step at a time, step by step. As long as he continued to learn and enrich himself, he would become less dependent on the memories from his previous life in the future. Even if he could no longer rely on foresight in the future, Jiang Cheng would still be ahead of most people by then and well on his way towards becoming a true "Giant of Entertainment."

But for now he had to put this mentality in place, and no longer be as sloppy as before. History was changing and his memories were no longer as dependable. Jiang Cheng had to speed up his pace and achieve certain achievements before his memories started failing him..

This incident was a wake-up call and told Jiang Cheng: Transmigration wasn't omnipotent, it was still up to the person themselves to work.

Jiang Cheng thanked God again, for his second chance and got to work.

※※※

After learning that Jin Sha was coming, Jiang Cheng returned to the studio to wait for her. Whilst waiting, he took out his laptop and started working away.

At 2:30 in the afternoon, the door to the studio was opened. Jiang Cheng, who was struggling in front of the laptop, looked up.

Assistant Liu Qing pushed open the door and walked in, "Jiang Cheng, Miss Jin from HuaXiang Entertainment is here."

"Oh, I see, let her in." Jiang Cheng raised his head, responded to Liu Qing, and then moved his eyes back to the screen.

"Errr, she's already here ." Liu Qing said helplessly, and Jiang Cheng found that there was another person behind Liu Qing.

Jiang Cheng looked back up and saw a sweet-looking girl who was about 17 or 18 years old with long hair and shawl, hiding behind Liu Qing looking at him with a little excitement. She wore a white sweater printed with a Mickey Mouse pattern on the upper body, a pair of blue jeans with a small pink lady's leather bag diagonally on her back, she gave off a tranquil yet slightly playful aura.

"Uh…." Jiang Cheng stood up in an embarrassing manner, walked towards her, stretched out his hand, and said in a slightly apologetic tone: "Sorry, I guess I got too caught up working and forgot to check the time. Jiang Cheng, please take care of me!"

"Jin Sha, my name is Jin Sha!" Jin Sha held his hand and said with excitement, "I love your books, [Stories of the Ming Dynasty] and [Kunlun]! I'm a huge fan, it's great to meet you! Any chance I could get an autograph?"

"Uh!" "Of course, but where do you want me to sign?" Jiang Chen said, caught off guard to hear she liked his books.

"Sign here, I bought a new edition just for today!" After speaking, Jin Sha took out a new copy of [Stories of the Ming Dynasty] from her bag and handed it to Jiang Cheng.

Jiang Cheng took the book, took out a pen, and wrote on the title page:

[To Sister Jing Sha,

I wish you success in your career and happiness!

You're destined to be a star!

Jiang Cheng - Bright Moon!]

After he finished writing, he handed the book back to Jin Sha. After Jin Sha took it, she couldn't wait to read Jiang Cheng's blessing, her face blushed, she smiled, and said shyly: "Thank you Brother Jiang, for your encouragement! I will definitely work hard!"

"Cough cough!" Hearing a soft "Brother Jiang", Jiang Cheng's old face flushed, and he felt a little airy. However, he immediately suppressed his emotions and said to Jin Sha gently, "No worries!"

"Haha!"

Looking to the side, Jiang Cheng saw Liu Qing looking at the two of them with a playful gaze, as if to say, "Look at these two youngsters!" Jiang Cheng touched his nose with some embarrassment.

However, this somewhat embarrassing atmosphere was quickly destroyed, as a careless voice suddenly came from by the door: "Hey, Acheng, I'm here to report to you! Uh, it turns out that Sister Liu is here too! Huh? There's also a beauty!"

Hu Ge and his big mouth had entered the building!

It turned out that after Jiang Cheng and Cai Yinong had confirmed that Hu Ge would sing several male solo songs in the OST in the morning. Zhang Da had released Hu Ge and directed him to the studio in the afternoon to practice and record. Hu Ge was naturally more than willing after hearing about it.

This roommate of his had always called himself the "God of Music" and always took the opportunity to show off his singing voice. So now he finally got the opportunity to do it properly, he was naturally eager to get to work.

With a smile on his face, Jiang Cheng walked towards Hu Ge and said to him: "You're here, just in time, come, let me introduce you two, this is Jin Sha from HuaXiang Entertainment, she's here to help; Jin Sha, this is Hu Ge, also from Shanghai Tangren, he's my younger brother so ignore his nonsense!"

Dissatisfied with Jiang Cheng's "younger brother and his nonsense", Hu Ge glared at him, turned his head and smiled at Jin Sha: "Hello, Sister Jin, please take care of me!"

Jin Sha smiled sweetly, and said softly, "Hello, Brother Hu Ge, please take care of me!"

The two laughed and talked a few more words before Jiang Cheng interrupted them and said: "Okay, now we've all got to know each other, let's get started. We will be working together for the next few days. Actually wait a second, Sister Liu can you please help us get some drinks."

Liu Qing nodded and said: "Of course no problem, you guys get working first." After that, she walked out of the studio.

"Hey, Jiang Cheng, are you running the studio alone?" Hu Ge asked, confused, as he looked around. With Liu Qing popping out, there were only three of them in the studio.

"Kind off. Tangren only has two small crews, remember so we're seriously understaffed. Pretty much everyones gone over to help score [Legendary Fighter: Yang's Heroine] so they'll be busy for the next couple days so we'll have to wait until they're done before they come back over, so I will be running things here alone for like two days." Jiang Cheng said helplessly, "Fortunately, we've already composed all the songs on the OST for [Autumn's Concerto]. Now we just need to record you guys singing."

"Oh, so! How many songs are there?" Hu Ge asked again, he still didn't know this.

"Nine songs, the schedule is a bit tight, so it's best to strive to finish the OST within three days. Any other questions?"

Hu Ge and Jin Sha shook their heads together.

"Okay! Then let's get you guys first familiar with the lyrics and instrumental, we will go through it one by one. First take a look at the score." He said as he handed the two a score book, Jin Sha's one was more than twice as thick as Hu Ge's. This was natural, because Jin Sha's book was composed of seven songs, five female solo songs and two duet songs; while Hu Ge's book was two male solo songs plus one duet.

The two of them took the music book and looked through them with interest, but as Jin Sha focused in on it, Hu Ge….

"Hey, why do you keep looking up at me, read the score and stop staring at me!" Jiang Cheng looked at Hu Ge and rolled his eyes.

"How am I meant to read it?" Hu Ge said confidently, "I have never studied music, this stuff is basically gibberish to me.."

"What! God damn it! I thought you said you were the "God of Music?"

"I am! So what if I don't understand it, it won't hinder my singing, my voice is still quite good! Just tell me straightforwardly what to do!"

"Good God! How you planning to know which note to sing in, were you just planning on howling and calling it singing!"

"Hey, I can obviously sing in tune, OK? Don't slander me!"

...

Watching the two banter and quarrel with each other, Jin Sha softly smiled again.
