6 Chapter 4: Healing Tickets

"Koby," Koby's voice trembled, indicating his current state of fear. He was in the kitchen when he heard a series of loud sounds coming from the deck, signifying that something was amiss.

His mind raced, imagining that the Navy had arrived to defeat the pirates he was currently surrounded by. With a glimmer of hope, he ascended to the deck, yearning for the possibility of finally being free from his tormentors.

As he reached the deck, he was greeted by the sight of several pirates lying on the floor, knocked out, and Alvida, brandishing her spiky mace, engaged in a fierce battle with an individual wearing a straw hat.

Realizing that the person fighting Alvida was not a Navy officer, Koby immediately concealed himself behind crates, understanding that another pirate crew had launched an attack on Alvida's crew. While Alvida's crew was far from kind to him and often bullied him, they had yet to resort to killing, merely keeping him as a lowly chore boy.

However, if he were to be captured by another pirate crew, Koby feared the unknown consequences that awaited him.

"Boy, don't be frightened. We're not the bad guys," uttered the individual who intimidated him the most. This man bore three prominent scars on his right eye, emanating a menacing aura that seemed capable of delivering death at a moment's notice.

"He's probably scared of you, King," Luffy interjected, already aware of the fear King's presence and cold demeanor instilled in those around him.

"What? I'm not that scary!" King retorted, oblivious to the impact his appearance had on others.

"Koby, do I look scary?" King leaned closer to Koby's face, causing an overwhelming surge of terror that overwhelmed the young boy, leading him to faint.

Confused by Koby's sudden collapse, the others exchanged puzzled glances, unsure of what had caused it.

[Host, perhaps you should consider purchasing a healing ticket to mend those scars of yours.]

"But I don't have fear points," king replied,

"So I don't need to scare them. If someone close to me is experiencing fear, even if I didn't scare them, should I still get fear points?" inquired King.

"Okay, now system, Show me a healing ticket that is enough to heal my body and scars," said King, excited at the prospect of healing his scars, as such abilities did not exist in his former world.

He knew that he needed to heal Luffy too, as Luffy was still weak and in need of his protection.

"Can you get those two out?" King requested.

[Affirmative, host,] replied the system, and suddenly two green tickets appeared in King's hand.

"Luffy, here, take this," King said, handing Luffy the mid-level ticket.

"What is this?" Luffy asked curiously.

"Rip it, and something magical will happen to you," explained King.

"Let's rip it together, then!" Luffy exclaimed.

"Alright."

As they simultaneously tore open their tickets, their whole bodies began to glow with a green light.

"Whoa, I feel refreshed and new! How did you get this?" Luffy asked, excited.

"This is called a ticket, and I have the ability to create them. I just need some stamina to do it," King explained, deciding not to reveal his system to Luffy, as it wouldn't change anything and wasn't necessary. However, he thought it was important for Luffy to understand the concept of the tickets and his power.

"Now that we're healed, we should leave this ship and set sail again," King suggested.

Luffy grabbed Koby, and together with King, they jumped onto their small boat.

"Alright, let's go!" Luffy declared.
