6 Absolute unit of a man

It's been two weeks since King came to an island named Haltom. For a very long time, this island was infested and corrupted by pirates. Most citizens did not dare go anywhere besides main streets and well-populated places. Going into an alleyway or any dark place in general means you are getting robbed without a shadow of a doubt, if you didn't have a weapon, of course.

Haltom was probably one of the more distant places and ideal if one wanted to get away from the Marines. Pirates were like a bunch of rats in a bucket, constantly feeding off each other and there was never anybody who could stand above the rest. Until now, that is.

King became more than a legend; he was the de facto ruler of Haltom. The Marine Captain was nothing more than his servant, whom he let live out of his great wisdom and unfathomable planning.

Kids became untoachable just because of his presence on Haltom. The piercing blue eyes of justice see all that goes on in the world.

Forty pirate crews were annihilated completely and without mercy. Nobody questioned who did it, but they didn't understand how. People saw King walk into a building, and a minute later, the building was gone from the face of the earth along with any evildoer in it. There is always one man walking out without any damage, King. He was covered in blood, but it was never his. There were reports of a strange, loud sound coming from him before any fight. The King Engine was a mysterious force, thought to be a completely new type of Haki, that affected the soul of the opponent, tearing it apart if King deemed you a threat.

Of course there ought to be an agency specialized in information gathering on the island in the likes of Haltom. It's branch office survived just until the second they sold information of a person of incredible strength, King. The whole building, along with the basement, ceased to be. No soul dares to build any building there again, because, well, King probably cursed it. Maybe he did not, but all the brave pirates to test it out were already gone.

---------------------------------------------

King was bored as hell the second day he was here. There was nothing exciting in this damn place.

He had a roof over his head and some money, but no way to spend it on what he wanted: games. At some point, he gave up on finding a hint of something modern and went with children's toys. A shop named "Toys" seemed like a good place to start looking for them, but he only found a super secret slave market. The place was strange from the start, first floor was mostly empty with no one behind the counter. Then he saw a backdoor, went there, and almost died from fear.

King thought store workers went on a lunch break and forgot to stock up the shelves. Not the case at all. A lot of people in cages is what he saw. Seconds later, a lot of scary people came behind him.

King POV

Damn. Damn. DAMN. DAMN IT! I don't want to be a slave!

*RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE*

They are glaring at me. God help me.

"I won't be a good slave. I can't follow orders." I said with my puppy-eyed face.

Why is everybody so big? (AN: that's what she said!) Everything here is so scary. I see my life flash before my eyes. What a good life it was, if you don't include all the bad parts.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Kings face in the dim lights of the slave market backrooms made all of the pirates shit themselves.

They were in this business for twenty damn years. This man is no joke. Emanating power by just standing here.

*RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE*

"I won't be a good slave, I can't follow orders."

"This man is mocking us! Billy got this, no way he can stand agains billy. Billy can lift a whole ship!'

"BILLY, SMASH HIS HEAD!" shouted the rat-like slave trader (AN: no disrespect to rats).

Billy was a large man who skipped legs. His head was shaped like a lightbub, and nevertheless, he wasn't that bright. So he prepared for a huge swing with his bat, made out of a tree trunk, no less.

Slaves in cages couldn't look at it.

King Engine roared.

*RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE*

His face became like that of a statue, as his eyes were locked on something. But it's just his life flashing before him. The moment before the strike, he looked Billy straight in the eyes. It wasn't the best thing to see before death, but what could he do about it.

Billy didn't expect that. Most people close their eyes. They don't stare like that.

At that moment, Billly's weak legs couldn't support the weight of his body, and he slipped and fell.

His bat flew out of his hands and killed the rest of the pirates, smashing them into pieces. Along with most of the walls, blocking the entrance.

As Billy tried to stand up, he saw this man staring at him like at an insect.

*RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE*

Billy couldn't further function as a living organism and ceased to exist.

King stood there untouched. King Engine slowly stopped.

He looked back at the cages with slaves looking at him like he did something.

Then he took a snail out of his pocket, which as he understood was just like a phone but worse in every concievable way.

"Alice, can you deal with this one thing please?"
