Doctor and Patient

The City has been quiet ever since the incident with the Rhosyn family. At least on the surface. 

I've already finished my plans for the city and today is the final step. All those on the sideline after all this will be considered enemies and will be purged.

"All the prison have been sorted out, my lord." Knight Jorah says looking at me strangely.

"Speak what's on your mind, unless it includes releasing names on this list I will listen." These are political tools, releasing them now will undermine everything I've done so far.

"You chose that Orc as your champion instead of me, even though I'm not as powerful as him I'm sure that I am more skilled with a spear, sword or even axe." Oh, he's speaking of that situation.

"It's simple, both you and Stephanie are very skilled but valuable to me. If you were killed in that scuffle then I would lose much more. Plus I was testing if he was the real deal." Also, I wasn't sure of victory if either of you fought.

"I see, I apologize for misunderstandings my lord plan. Next time I will not question your words." That's not great.

"Words my great grandfather said before dying, soliders listen but commanders think. You will only have half your value if all you can do is follow." This place will need leaders, not followers. Otherwise, it will crash, at least my father told me that before I left home.

"I will be going, I won't return until the day of execution. Think and lead while I'm gone." I don't think he could screw up in a few days.

I then remove all of my clothes and change into my doctor get up. It's a little worn but it's still useable and I won't be able to order a new one until the end of the year. The Holy pilgrimage will begin then.

"Doctor I'm glad you here, a fight broke out between two gangs of kids. Many of them are injured!" The rats are back to fighting already. It's quicker than I thought but still on track.

"Take me to them quickly." The nurse nods her head and takes me to the infirmary that is filled with kids with stab wounds and missing limbs. 

"Take all the ones who aren't critically injured and have the junior healers take care of them. Senior ranks will assist me." This reminds me of the time our convoy was attacked in the Holy City-States. Master didn't stop working until nightfall

"(Investigate), split yourselves into groups of two and begin to apply healing magic on those who have lost limbs. I will be working on those two boys since they are near death." Near death they might be dead already but I can't stop.

"(Magic Hands)." A spell to aid in scenarios like these, normal it would create around four hands but I was able to modify the spell and make eight hands appear.

One of the kids had an arrow struck his heart in fact it's a miracle he survived. After removing the arrow and arrow bits I cast Holy Arc to rapidly heal his heart. He was stabilized not long after that.

The second kid had his skulls crack in and had bone slowly piercing his skull. Removing the pieces of bone was tedious and mentally exhausting but that only true complications. I had to heal his brain after that.

The final kid was the simplest so far. He had an arrow in his eye. After removing the arrow and checking for any other complications I begin the healing process.

I then move on to helping out the other doctors with amputees and minor injuries. It took us until nightfall to finish.

"Begin the sanitization process, no one is allowed to leave until they are squeaky clean. Also, no one should enter." The place reek of blood anyways.

"An Arch healer is truly amazing isn't it, you took what normally take five healers job and in half the time." That's overestimating me, that's the level of skill one should be to even become a healer in the Holy City-States.

"Obviously, His badge has the sacred olive branch on it, only those with exceptional skills are given it." There is someone here who recognizes the markings, you learn something new every day.

"While what you said is true the marking is actually awarded for exceptional  performance noticed by some of the distinguished statuses." Or bribing them.

"I wish to be like you." 

"Me too!" 

"I will be better."  

They will be under my watch.
