6 X-Men

Its now the next morning and wanda and i are having breakfast, she tells me that she been looking for a job as a librarian or something similar and that she found one, as she just wanted a nice quiet job where she can also learn i think if this version of earth is the same as the previous one which i'm pretty sure it is but oh well. Plus I do know she had been looking up books that hadn't been made yet so I can see she will probably try to find some books to read till she is ready and thinks of a plan for the future. Anyways after the night we slept in the same bed things have been a little weird, but i know it was just to comfort her as she hadnt had a warm place to sleep in a while with company, i know there is something but it wont go anywhere for a while because i can see that wanda want to sort out her life a bit more first.

Once again I find myself back at school and being greeted by Kitty as I enter the class. From there we had a maths class and some chemistry which my skills levelled up by 1 in my chemistry subject, that's good cause I mainly focused on biology when looking to upgrade my skills. I've been using my skills recently and started small by making a good website and posting the product on different social media to see if there are any who are interested as the age of technology isn't all too advanced here yet so people who see my website might be interested. i saw that i got an inquiry from a small company already that deals in car repair and parts sales so as my first customer i made them a website that was out of this time but looked and felt professional and easy to use, with that i made my first sale and for about 1000$ as i don't have an income to really multiply it by plus this is my first work and it is a website that has never been made before with an amazing feel with professionalism so that's good for now, plus i would be getting advertisement from it so that's a plus.

After that was all taken care of, I'm now at lunch with Kitty and Rogue once again on the rooftop and Kitty has invited me to come and meet her other friends during the second break as she is excited to have a friend who doesn't discriminate against them. As Kitty pulled me along I used my biokinesis to analyse her X-gene and from there I could feel and sense that I had acquired Kittys skill [phasing Lv1.] (Okay i've been showing notification so far for skills but in actuality it isn't really notifications rather it is a feeling and sense of information that goes into his soul i just had the status because it was more convenient but this isn't a system so yeah, he can read the information on his soul basically, there isn't a screen that pops up or anything.) 'Nice!' From there I was dragged to my next class as Kitty and I had the same classes. after classes where done i went with Kitty to meet the other mutants in this school after she had told them about me and that i was a cool 'Human' who doesn't care unlike apparently the rest of the population which i know isn't true i mean we all know peter wouldnt care as long as your a good guy so it also stands to reason there are normal people who woulndt care and just thinks its cool.

'okay so i'm not too sure who will be at this lunch but i need to prepare my mind, because if jean is there then it will be incredibly hard as she is a powerful telepath and even if i use my soul more i still use my brain as this is my body' as we were rounding the corner and were about to head in the cafeteria, Kitty dragged me to a table and where she was walking was a table filled with familiar yet unfamiliar people.

Jean Grey POV:

'hmm i wonder if what Kitty said is true, she has been talking about a boy from her class that usually is quiet but apparently she used her abilities to get onto the roof where he was eating lunch and he inadvertently saw rouge and Kitty. Honestly I can't believe she wasn't careful. Things could have really gone downhill if it were any other student.'

as i just came out of my musings i could here Kittys mind and she seemed rather excited and as soon as they came around the corner i saw that she was dragging an ordinary looking student, his hair covering his eyes and baggy looking clothes but apparently from the thoughts of others he seems to be chubby but his clothes hide it well. he looked slightly nervous while Kitty was dragging him along, but then he looked up and locked eyes with me and i heard his thoughts. *"smash next question"* "cough cough cough!" *"No wait you cant think like that, shit god damn it's not my fault she looks hot as hell and i'm a hormonal teenager. oh no is she okay? she seems to have choked on her drink. i would help but it would seem weird plus her friends seem to have got it"* 'Well that was embarrassing but I didn't expect him to think that. I mean it isn't really his fault and it's nowhere near the worst thing ive heard someone think of me but it's just that it was his first comment. whose first comment is something like that! but it's weird, his mind is very quiet, i can only hear superficial surface thoughts and even then it's not much, but that's just my passive, i would be able to read his mind but professor said it was a complete breach of privacy and trust.'

Matt pov:

'Well shit i think i ruined my first impression if anything about jeans reaction tells me. but bro you dont understand i didn't think she was going to be this gorgeous and it was just wow, hmmm [Mental resistance Lv1] it seems thanks to that i got a new skill, now at least i can protect my mind a bit, but i guess it wasn't enough for me to get telepathy.'

We approached the table and Kitty started to introduce me to everyone.

"Okay, so this is Matthew. Matthew this is everyone." I roll my eyes at her antics while the others start to introduce themselves to me. "Hi, nice to meet you, im Scott." "Yo, you can just call me Curt. this is Colossus but you can just call him Peter." Curt said excitedly while I shook the 3 dudes hands. "Nice to meet you, I'm Bobby." "I'm Angelica." "And I'm Jean, it's nice to meet you matthew." I shook all their hands but it would seem bobby and colossus are a bit quiet. "Yeah, cool meeting you guys, Kittys been Excited all day about it, and it's really nice to meet you."

Kitty gave a sheepish smile before dragging me to sit down next to her. Over the course of lunch, we talked about normal school stuff before Angelica got down to the meeting. "So, I'm here , you know?" 'Well that's not subtle at all' everyone thought. "If you're talking about the Mete thing, yeah i know of it" I answer while feeling real glee as while i shook the hands of the members here i got a really nice few things. [Telepathy Lv1, Iron Body Lv1, Ice Body Lv1, Microwave Manipulation Lv1, Laser eyes Lv1, Teleportation Lv1] Nice. Now that's what I call a warm welcome. As i thought this i started improving my mind abilities and started shielding my mind better from all the stray thoughts floating around me.

"Meta? Yeah Kitty was talking about it and most of us agree it is definitely a better term rather than mutant." When she said most I was curious to see who didn't like it and quickly realised it was Scott who didn't like it and all I can say is that it makes sense.

After that we continued to get along while agreeing that we should hang out sometime. After that we went back to class and finished the day. Very quickly the week went by just like that and tomorrow is the day that we decided to go out and hangout as a group. And I decided that I would wear better clothes as the X-Men shouldn't know about my original appearance.
