Beyond the hill.

"Aah…" Luke groaned in pain due to the fall. 

The mandibles of the beast in him, caused its sudden collapse to the ground to end up harming him even more.

"Fuck my life," He cursed as his shaky hands reached for the mandibles. Without the resistance of the centipede, Luke began to push once again but this time they moved. 

"Aah!" Luke gritted his teeth in agony as he felt the mandibles slowly slide their way out of the hole burrowed into his body.

Occasionally, Luke would stop pushing due to the pain and wait for a while before mustering the courage to continue. Because of this, it took nearly three minutes to remove the mandibles but as soon as it was done Luke collapsed to the ground.

The burning sensation from his wounds left him groaning painfully as his body twitched occasionally on the ground. His palms instinctively moved towards his wounds to cover them and slow down the bleeding.
