Chapter 4: The Meeting

Hoshi was unconscious while being transported back to the Kiryūin manor as they got word that Sōichirō Kiryūin finished with his work earlier than they thought.

Hoshi's eyelids slowly flutter until he was able to see everything clearly. It was nothing but empty infinite darkness.

'Déjà vu?' thought Hoshi.

But that thought was soon cutoff as he heard someone calling him out in the distance.

Hoshi got up from laying on nothing but a transparent solid floor. As he was looking around in the empty darkness‚ he suddenly saw a faint glow of light in the distance and as if he felt a connection to him he started walking towards it without fear from the creeping darkness.

"Hey..."

"Heey..."

"Heeey..."

As soon the voice started to get louder he started running towards IT.

"HEY!!!"

"HEEEY!!!"

"I AM HERE KID!!!"

As he slowly stop running‚ as he saw what was calling him‚ it was a sword a beautiful sword. It was white around the sharp edges‚ while its inner part was gold with high tech engravings as if it was made by an advance civilization and it also has 7 holes in it‚ with the biggest one near the grip and 6 more from the bottom to the top‚ the biggest to the smallest holes and a large line in the middle of the sword connecting to all the holes.

As he saw it‚ he asked "who or what are?"

"Me? I am a sword or a sentient sword you could say." Said the sword.

"And i am what is known as The Infinity Blade‚ forge by the Worker of Secret and wielded by the once powerful being‚ who calls themselves the Deathless and one particular Deathless was my Wielder‚ Raidriar The God-King and Siris who was once known as Ausar the Vile." said the sword as it remember its old wielders.

"The Infinity Blade...? Worker of Secrets...? Deathless? Raidriar? Ausar? Siris? But i have never heard of them before‚ There should have atleast been recording of them throughout history." Said Hoshi because he would've known these terms or name as he likes history.

"There should've been recording or surviving Deathless roaming around but The Worker of Secrets have the tendency of playing god and resetting the world or in other words scorching the planet and killing all its inhabitants." Said the sword while it shook visibly as he remembers how many times the Worker of Secrets resetting the world calling it his 'Failed Experiments'.

"What the heck is wrong with him!!! There is no way they would let someone like that roam free!" Said Hoshi as he never heard someone committing Genocide on planetary scale.

"Oh they didn't‚ because before he could do another reset to the world‚ countless Deathless banded together in which they founded the great pact in order the stop the madman‚ who was also their creator. Since he was their creator he also had a plan to stop them permanently even if they are immortals‚ which is me! he created me as the first one because with me as the base for the other infinity weapons‚ he can also mass-produce them and arming his own mindless army!" Said the sword as it trembled in anger‚ it saw other versions itself as inferior and disdain them.

"But now i sense a change in this world‚ different from what it use to be‚ i sense a threat greater than The Worker of Secrets." Said the sword as its been years since he was last wielded by anyone.

"A threat greater than The Worker of Secrets...?" said Hoshi with pores of sweat coming out of his forehead

"Yes‚ Although i do not what this is‚ i fear that it will consume everything in its path if it is not put to stop." Said the Sword.

"Then... i guess we will just have to stop it together then‚with you as my sword and i as your wielder." Said Hoshi with great determination‚ which is also present in his eyes.

"Hoooo... i like you kid‚ i know that in my cold metal body that you will grow stronger in the future with me by your side." said the sword.

"Then do we have a deal?" Asked Hoshi.

"Very well kid‚ i will be in your care, but heed my words kid because i think there is something wrong with the Silver-haired women from your memories‚ you should be careful around her but not to a noticeable extent because i sense that deep inside‚ she is a cold-hearted monster and would do anything to achieve her goal, even if it means killing her own kin." Said the sword.

Hoshi nods in agreement because of what happened when he went with his mother in the secret underground lair of the Kiryūin manor.

"Wait you can look into my memories??? isn't that a breach in privacy!!!" Said Hoshi because he doesn't want a sentient sword snooping around his memories.

"Hahahahah! well kid‚ we are connected with each other and you can even see my memories aswell‚ this also means that if you die i will also follow you." The sword said before stopping his laugh and changing it with a serious voice.

"But we'll talk later because i sense that we are already nearing your home."

"Alright then‚ see you in a bit uhh.... what should i call you?" Asked Hoshi because calling him Infinity Blade sounds too long.
