Chapter 22 ‘Black Souls’

POV Vincent

Aurora walked away from me.

I feel terrible because Aurora feels unhappy. I am very angry with myself for what I did to Aurora. I almost killed her because of the car accident and then as a 'make-up' I have driffen her and Jayden apart. Jayden hates me now too, because he really cares for her.

What have I done? My little Pearl is falling in love and I'm ruining it for her, because I'm afraid that the Black Sous are after her. She's probably a hundred times better protected in the royal vampire castle than here.

But the truth is I want to be with her, because I have missed so much of her life and I was too selfish to let her leave. She is a grown up and she has to do what she thinks that's the best for her and I totally ruined it for her, because I am too damn selfish and what maybe scares even more me is the fact that Jayden might be good for her, that Jayden will become the only man in her life.

I will go to her to say that I don't want to stop her and of course I must also report it to Jayden, I will report it to Aurora first, I believe she went towards the open lawn. I walked towards the open lawn and then I suddenly heard her calling me.

"DAD! "I ran to the lawn and I saw a black figure disappear with Aurora.

I see Ellis and Marco hiding behind the bushes and I sprint towards them.

"Ellis, Marco? Have you seen who took Aurora?" I ask impatiently.

"Y..yes.." Ellis says stuttering, I looked at her compulsively.

"It was Seth ..." Marco said softly.

"Seth?! No that can't be! NO!! Seth is the head of the black souls, even the Decision Makers fear Seth!"

I must report this to Jayden immediately! So he can help get her back, because I can never do that on my own and I need Jayden more than anything else right now. He is better than every single person in the mason!

POV Aurora

I woke up in a cold room and I felt sore, I kept my eyes closed and I wondered what the hell happened .

I was going for a walk with my father.

Dad says Jayden and his parents are looking for someone else for Jayden.

I got angry and walked away.

I land on a large open lawn and hear a strange noise in the bushes.

I thought it was bird and went to the bushes to see who or what it was.

There was nothing in the bushes so I turned and there was a boy in front of me.

I was shocked and he looked at me sadistically. I was trying to flee, but it was a vampire.

I tried to call my father, he got angry and hit me and everything went black.

Seriously I'm kidnapped again?

By who the hell?

Maybe the.. what are those wizards and witches called again? The…? The decision makers yes that's the name again! Or have I been kidnapped by the Black something? Oh no they are called the Black souls, yes that's what they are called!

Seriously Aurora?!

Serious?!

I've been fucking kidnapped and I'm thinking about the names of the groups that could have kidnapped me! What does it even matter? I am going to get out of here! I want to get out of here, and quickly!

I wanted to come up with an escape plan, have my escape plans ever worked? No! And it will not work at all with my eyes closed, because then I can't see anything!! Jeez Aurora you are so smart!

I opened my eyes gradually and looked around to see if anyone was there

Nobody great!

I was in a dark room with no windows. It looked pretty messy and it was quite cold here I was laying on a black leather couch.

I got up, but a door opened and I quickly fell back onto the couch.

"Find out if she's awake." A commanding voice said.

The same voice that kidnapped me.

Someone walked up to me and I kept my eyes closed tight and I tried to control my breathing.

I felt a cold breath on my cheek.

"No sir, she is not awake yet."

"How is this possible? She must have been awake a long time ago!" The man who kidnapped me said furiously. I tried to keep my mind quiet so I wouldn't panic

"I. I don't know sir ... " said the other voice frightened. Footsteps came my way.

"Paul ..." He said meanly.

"Y..Y ... Yes boss?" Paul said anxiously

"Have you listened to her heartbeat?"

"N ... No"

"That's what I thought! Here listen! Her heartbeat is racing like crazy she's awake idiot! ¨ Said voice mean.

Why does my heartbeat have to give everything away?!

I opened my eyes and got up and ran, but my arm got caught and I was thrown across the room.

"Didn't thinks so!"The man who kidnapped me growled.

"Get out of here Paul!" Paul was gone.

'Can I go too?' I thought

"Ouch .." I groaned, because I hit the wall very hard and that was not good for my ribs.

"Ahh have I hurt you?" He said mean. 'Yes because I have to look at that stupid rotten head of yours,' I thought.

"That's not nice of you" And he walked up to me.

Uhm what? Did I say that out loud?

"No you thought it out loud." His eyes were red and he started to grin.

"L .. leave me alone." That was all that came out of me.

"No." And he stood in front of me and lifted me up and pressed me against the wall.

"W.. what do you want from me?"

"What everyone wants from you, sweetheart." He said mean looking at me up and down

"God what a diamond you are, if I didn't need your blood I would use you for something else." He said with a grin.

Uhm excuse me?

"Yes, you heard me right" And he stroked his hand over my cheek.

"Don't touch me!" And I tried to break free, but he's very strong.

"No." And he pushed me harder against the wall and he came closer with his face. And he went towards my neck, he kissed it first and then he bit it softly which went faster.

A groan in pain left my mouth.

"So sweet ..." He said moaning.

"Let me go!" I shouted angrily at him.

"Or what do you call your prince in shining armor, Jayden?" He said mean.

My eyes widened.

How does he know about Jayden?

"Yes I do know about Jayden. I have my eyes everywhere, sweetheart." He said with a grin. I swallowed and looked at him anxiously.

"Well you can do it the easy way or I'll get your little prince and I promise you it's not going to be pleasant for you and him." He said sadistically.

"What?!" I looked at him anxious, angry and questioning at the same time.

"I can only get a pure soul by voluntarily drinking your blood. So you allow me to drink your blood otherwise if not I can drink as much blood from you as I want, but then my soul will not get pure, because it has to come from a pure will. So what are you gonna do? The easy way or the hard way that involves your little prince?"
