Chapter 11 'Mom?'

I stood with my mouth open with a sandwich in my room, my mother was in my room!

"Honey, don't you want to shut your mouth?" She asked uncomfortable.

"Uhm .. yes" I chewed the sandwich and swallowed it.

"Mom.." I ran up to her and gave her a hug.

"I missed you so much, love." she sniffled out..

I let go of her and tears found the way out, with both of us.

I sat on my bed and my mother sat next to me.

"You knew about this, right?" I muttered.

"Y ... yes, dear" She stuttered when she stuttered I know she felt uncomfortable or guilty I guess in this case both.

"If this wasn't for your own safety, I wouldn't have allowed this."

"What did you say to the people who miss me?"

"That you already sent an email to the hospital in London a while ago about whether you came to work there for a while and that they have accepted you."

I did send an email to the hospital in london a few weeks ago, but even if they want me now I will never get out of here.

"Okay" And a sigh left my mouth.

"What's the matter?" She raised an eyebrow.

"I want to get out of here, it's a madhouse full of vam ..."

Shit…. My eyes widened my mother is also a vampire!

"Full of vampires I know, honey." my mother continued softly.

"Why didn't you tell me!" And I got up angry.

"What?" My mother asked innocent.

"'What'? All this! That you are a vampire and dad and that dad has left us to protect us, not for another woman! That the Black Souls and the Decision Makers want me for my fucking pure soul!" I cried everything out. I took a deep breath and sighed my mother sighed too.

"Your dad and I wished that you could live a normal life without all the supernatural stuff and we knew the Black Souls want you, just not for what and why, but we didn't know the Decision Makers want you!" And she sighed again.

"A normal life? Come on Mom I deserved the truth!"

"You did deserve that, I know." She sighed.

"Still, I feel like you are all hiding things from me!" And I looked at her intense.

There was a knock in the room, it was Jayden that filthy bastard!

"Myra, good to have you here." He said formally and as soon as Mom is gone he will play dirty again!

"Good to see you too, Jayden." My mother responded.

"I'm going" And I wanted to leave the room, but Jayden stopped me.

"Let go of me, Jayden." I said murderous, but that did nothing to him he didn't let me go. I tried to pull myself away, but he wouldn't let go.

"Jayden it's okay. Let her go" said my mother.

"I will decide that for myself, Myra, after all I am her protector."

"What?" And my mother stood before him in a flash.

"You are her protector?" And she emphasized 'you'

"I thought Vincent was going to do that himself!" She said angrily.

"He thought I was right for the job, because after all I'm the fastest and strongest here!" I spun my eyes.

"Let go of me, you bastard!" And I pulled myself free and frantically walked out of the room and went to my father's office.

"Sweetheart" said my father.

"Dad you know Mom is here?" I asked.

"Yes" He said

"Dad, I want to discuss something with you." I said businesslike.

"What's wrong Pearl? Sit down." He pointed to a leather chair I sat on it.

"I don't want Jayden as my protector anymore I find him irritating at the most, he never lets me do my thing." I said angrily.

"Little pearl, he's the best person to protect you." He tried to talk me out of my idea.

"I know that is probably right, but he is not professional, he treats me like I am a baby or something." I was interrupted by Jayden.

"Your father is right, Aurora I am the best option to protect you." He emphasized 'I' I rolled my eyes.

"Dad, you know what's bothering me, please think about it." And I walked out of the office.

I walked back to my room, hopefully mom was still there.

My arm was taken and I was turned over.

"I'm not making you nervous, am I Flower?" Said Jayden with a grin.

"Fuck off!" And I tried to break free, but it's still Jayden 'the strongest vampire here' I rolled my eyes with that thought.

"Oh yes?" And he pushed me against the wall.

"Jayden let me go, let me do my thing go and bully people of your own level."

no reaction

"Jayden!" I shouted angrily.

His eyes turned red, what do I do?

"Little flower of mine, I hear your heart beat clearly louder and louder"

"It's because of those bloodthirsty eyes of yours!" He started to grin

"Yes ? Are you sure that's because of that? " And he came closer with his face. My heart beat even faster and he grinned even worse.

"Still sure of that?" He asked mean and he pushed me harder against the wall.

HELL NO! Now I'm done with it! I kicked him at a place where the sun doesn't shine.

"Very." I said mean and walked away.

I walked into my room and my mother was still there.

"Hey" said my mother with shame.

"Sorry.." And I sat down next to her.

"For what?" She asked curiously.

"That I exploded like that at you like that I shouldn't have done that, it's not as if you chose this."

"No, but I should have been honest with you." She said.

"Maybe, but you wanted a normal life for me that's also made a fair choice for me that you made." My mother smiled at me.

"You always know what to say" And she gave me a hug.

My father walked in.

"Aurora." he said. I let go of my mother.

"What is it?"

"I've been thinking about your proposal."

"And?"

"I can't risk putting you in danger by taking a weaker protector." I sighed

"I know that Jayden is a good protector he can be annoying indeed, but then you have to put him in his place and I know you can do such thing, so I am sure that you'll be fine" He said with a laugh.

"Yes I can." I thought about that moment a few minutes ago and a mean grin came out.

"But I did tell him that he should be a bit more professional. So hopefully he will, because you know, Jayden is Jayden and he'll do he."

"Thanks dad, that means a lot hopefully he listened to you, because I won't promise that I won't hit him the next time." We all laughed.
