1 Only One Chapter

Kidnaped

"You're drunk, Sydney. Stop messing with your glass," I said sitting on bar stool across from Sydney who had the darkest brown hair. She was spinning her beer bottle with one hand while the other hand was holding up her head. "You do realize I have to take you home to your mom now?" I asked but I didn't expect an answer.

"Yeah," she laughed a little, "I understand. I would be really mad but your handling this…" it took her a minute to say it, "calm…" I waited for her to say something but she stared at her bottle with her mouth open. I was just glad there wasn't a random guy there to do something bad to us.

I grabbed the bottle from out of her hands and sat it on a different table so she couldn't reach it. I gently grabbed her arm with one hand and wrapped my other hand around her waist. She seemed asleep but her eyes were open and she was saying random stuff about cars. But that was expected seeing that she was a mechanic.

She didn't fight my grasp, she was actually alright with me taking her to my car. The bar wasn't crowded so getting her out was easy. Once I opened the doors to go out, a strong cold gust of wind fell over us and the rain was like bullets against my skin. My car was only a few meters from the door. I quickly opened the door and set her down in the passenger seat. The wind blew harder. I ran to the other side of the car and closed the door with a sigh of relief. Sydney had fallen asleep. I found this to be a good thing because otherwise she would rant about something I didn't want to hear. It was 12:24 and we would be to her mother's house by 12:46 so I hoped her mother would be awake to see her.

Me and her didn't have the best relationship ever. Honestly, we didn't usually get along but when she asked if I wanted to go to a bar with her, I wasn't against it. I needed some "adventure" in my life. The rain clouds we're clearing up and that made it easier to see the road. We were about seven minutes away when I noticed a strange scent. Nitric dioxide. Someone was trying to poison us and seeing that we were at a bar, anything could've happened. Suddenly, the road was blurry. My hands fell to my lap. My head fell to my chest and my foot let off the gas. The car slowly stopped. The rain started again. All I could do was think and I wasn't very good that at the time. The last thing I remember was seeing a figure with dark brown hair come over me with a knife. A knife that sliced through my neck like an ink pen to paper.
